13-27 Time for Justice | Oregon Election Integrity Lawsuit Heads to 9th Circuit

Show 13-27 Summary: Honest people with truth on their side have nothing to hide. It’s the ones who cheat who refuse to open the books. So why does state after state, including Oregon, hide their elections — and sue anyone who dares ask questions to ensure everything is honest? It’s a good question. But they’re not being answered by Oregon. Election integrity is all about honesty. But telling people “trust us” while hiding the books is the opposite of honesty and transparency. We talk with Marc Thielman, lead plaintiff in the election integrity lawsuit that was dismissed for “lack of standing” by a magistrate judge and has been appealed to the 9th Circuit. Hear about the examples of potential fraud they cite, the reactions from the defendants, and why the judge looked so shocked.

This Week – Oregon Election Integrity Case gets Appealed

If you’ve got nothing to hide, you’ve got nothing to worry about. If the elections are “free and fair”, as Oregon (and states like it) claims, then why not open the books and let people look?

Oh, no. We can’t have that. And we’ll sue you to stop you from looking.

That’s the state’s response in a nutshell. We saw it with the Tim Sippel case in Washington County, who merely wanted to look at the public data of voters. But he was told that was “proprietary.” And the state sued him. But a new election integrity case — brought by Marc Thielman and other I Spy Radio guests — was brought to court to pry open the shady election process.

Oregon Election Integrity Case Summary

From the Northwest Observer, here’s a quick summary of the case:

“[The] lawsuit asks for a declaration that Oregon’s mail-in voting and computer tabulation of votes are unconstitutional and asks for an injunction against [the] use of those systems in elections. The lawsuit [seeks] relief from laws and policies that inflate voter rolls, use hackable tabulators, [and which] mandate mail-in ballots. The lawsuit also also seeks to untangle the web of the state’s efforts to block efforts by citizens to discover the many nefarious ways an election can be compromised.

Now, why would Oregon, or any state, seek to block efforts by their own citizens to look for potential loopholes in the voting system that could potentially exploited to commit fraud? Shouldn’t they be thanking them for finding problems? Not suing them?

Maybe this is a good place to point out the obvious: people who benefit from fraud don’t like other people examining fraud.

Oregon: A Sad State of Affairs

We welcome back Marc Thielman to discuss the election integrity case and what’s going on in Oregon. We start by talking about the Oregon Senators who inexplicably ended their walkout. Despite having assured victory over horrible bills.

Did you know? Oregon’s governor is asking people to weigh in on over 300 bills she has on her desk right now and get feedback on which ones she should veto. YOU can let her know what you think. Especially horrible bills like the anti-parents’ rights bill, HB2002. See our Take Action page for more information, a quick list of some of the worst bills, and a link to the contact form to let her know. Already know? Jump right to the contact form for the governor.

But our main focus is the election integrity lawsuit. We discuss what they are seeking to do, some examples of the fraud they’ve uncovered, the magistrate judge’s cop out and dismissal for “lack of standing,” and the appeal to the 9th circuit.

Plus, don’t miss the discussion on the huge win for free speech. A judge granted an injunction to stop the Biden administration colluding with Big Tech to censor Americans.

One would think the Biden administration would be embarrassed they got caught violating the First Amendment. But no. They have appealed the ruling. Admitting they were censoring Americans and demanding the ability to continue doing it.

Take Action! We won’t get to a bright future if conservatives don’t take action. Here are three things you can do right now:

  1. Sign the petition to stop Oregon Department of Forestry’s disastrous plan to abandon forests for 70 years. It takes 30 seconds to do. Go to OregonStrongerTogether.com and sign! Why? It will take state forests offline from timber harvests, removing 10s of millions of dollars every year from beneficiaries that depend on those timber harvests. Where will the state make up that money? More taxes, more fees. And don’ think the Leftist democrats aren’t eyeing ways to tax churches.
  2. Download and sign the petition to get the school choice initiatives on the 2024 ballot. Give parents the option to take their child out of woke, anti-Christian, anti-American schools. Woke teachers can’t indoctrinate kids who aren’t there. Head to EducationFreedomforOregon.com. These petition sheets must be printed and mailed back, because these are ballot initiatives. We need hundreds of thousands of signatures. You can even be a signature gatherer! See website for details. And to volunteer!
  3. Oregon’s governor has asked for public input on over 300 bills on her desk and wants to know which ones she should veto. Don’t miss this opportunity. Go here for the contact form to comment on bills like HB2002, the anti-parent-rights bill. Or go to our Take Action page for more information and a list of some of the worst bills she needs to veto.

This week, it’s a roundup of some craziness around Oregon. The continuing boondoggle that is the Elliott Forest as, once again, Oregon tries to divest itself of a billion-dollar asset that, by law, is supposed to generate income for the state school funds. But they’d rather stare at trees. (Literally!)

And we talk with fan-favorite, Chuck Wiese, to give us his punditry about the emptying of prisons, one of which was given back to the federal government — but now Oregon wants to lease one of them (which just happens to be right on the edge of the Elliott) back from the feds and put those men-who-stare-at-trees in it. WHAT is going on.

There’s a scene in Star Trek III when the crew of the Enterprise have stolen the ship and they’re being pursued by the Excelsior, the newest, fastest ship in the Federation fleet. The Enterprise goes to warp and the Excelsior prepares to give chase—only to have the engines grind to a halt and come to a dead stop. Scotty turns to Dr. McCoy, hands him some bolts, and says, “Here, Doctor. From one surgeon to another. The more they overhaul the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the drain.”

And that’s pretty much what happened to Oregon’s health care.

Oregon’s Health Care: What Happened?

What happened? In a word: Democrats. In their zeal to push Oregon into “universal health care,” also known as “single payer.” Or, more accurately, “socialized medicine.”

A Look Back at Oregon’s Health Care

This week, we’re joined by Lisa Lettenmaier, the owner and operator of Health Source Northwest. Lisa is our go-to expert for health care, especially the “unique aspects” of Oregon’s health care market, given our lurch toward socialized medicine.

It’s open enrollment time. Do you have an insurance plan? The deadline is Dec. 7th for Medicare and Dec. 15th for individuals. See HealthSourceNW.com

Oregon’s Health Care System Transformation

In 2013, then-Oregon-Governor John Kitzhaber, a huge proponent of single-payer/universal health care/socialized medicine introduced a grand plan for Oregon’s health care. It was generally known (in typical socialist lingo) as “Oregon’s health system transformation.”

Kitzhaber convinced Obama to spend billions on this new innovative health care system that was going to transform health care as we know it: improve care and lower costs. You read that correctly. We spent billions to lower costs.

It introduced regional monopolies known as “coordinated care organizations” (CCOs). This,  despite studies that repeatedly shown that ACOs (associated care organizations, as they are known in Obamacare) do not save money. And do not improve care.

Oregon’s Coordinated Care Organizations

To set up these monopolies, they introduced legislation to bypass antitrust laws, violating the free market. The Oregon Health Authority (nice name, Nazis!) became the overseer of all things health. And the bureaucracies. Multiple layers of bureaucrats between you and your doctor. All of whom end up on Oregon’s PERS. A global budget that removed the ability to track monies allocated per patient. (Because that wouldn’t ever lead to abuse, grift, and corruption.) And a never-before seen cap on Medicare and Medicaid.

Basically, CCOs violated every free-market principle that would lower costs and improve care.

And, sadly, Oregon Republicans helped pass it. Yes, Republicans. How did this happen?

Useful Idiots: Oregon’s Republicans

Basically, the transformation was sold to gullible Republicans under the guise of “saving money” and “local control.” After the fact, they were “surprised” that this turned out to be a big giant push toward socialized medicine.

In reality, it shouldn’t have surprised any of them. Why? Because on the first page, the first paragraph of the bill it clearly said, “It is the intention of the Legislative Assembly to achieve the goals of universal access.” Yes. Universal health care. Single payer. No private health care. The finest that Venezuela has to offer.

Bill language from Oregon's health care transformation

True Stories of Socialized Medicine

Here’s a reminder: no democrat running for president has ever lived under socialism. Not one.  That’s right. None of them have ever lived under universal health care. And yet Bernie and Warren and several others are pushing for both socialism and universal health care.

Know what’s funny? Have you noticed that when people in those universal health care systems run into trouble, they go to where there isn’t a universal health care system? Instead, they come here to the U.S. rather than waiting weeks or months for treatment.

Well, not everyone. Just the rich. And the politicians.

When you run into trouble in a universal health care system, you go to where there isn’t a universal health care system

Show Summary: Our country was founded on Judeo-Christian values. So why is it that we seem to be constantly defending them— even at Christmastime? We talk with Jeremy Morris, “The Christmas Lawyer,” who just won what’s been called the War on Christmas lawsuit. Plus: could the Deep State’s Christmas present be to see Jerome Corsi spend Christmas in jail…?

Original Air Dates: December 22 & 23, 2018 | Jeremy Morris & Dr. Jerome Corsi

Usually for our Christmas show we take a break from hard news and focus celebrating Christmas and the birth of Jesus.  But this year we had some realities of Christmas come to us that demonstrated the holiday isn’t always brought to us with happy times. There’s illness, fights, and actual wars that can keep families in trying times.  So, for this show we’re going to look at a couple of very difficult stories for the Christmas season that truly demonstrate how faith and courage run deep in the Christian way of life.

Christian persecution comes masked in many ways in the US and in these two stories we take a look at how two courageous men and their families are pushing back.

Fighting for Christmas: The Christmas Lawyer

First up, he’s been called “The Christmas Lawyer.” After Jeremy Morris, who lives in Idaho, moved to a new neighborhood, the Home Owner’s Association tried to stop him from holding his annual charity Christmas display.

Think Clark W. Griswold from Christmas Vacation. Tons of lights. Live Nativity scene. Even a real camel. People would come from all over to see this and all the donations went to help cure childrens’ cancer.

But it wasn’t enough the HOA didn’t want it. Especially since they couldn’t stop it because there was nothing in their own rules to prevent it. (You can just imagine how angry that made them.) No. These Grinches harassed his visitors, threatened Jeremy’s family, even staged fake accidents. So after the HOA hired an attorney to try to stop it, and after the harassment got to a boiling point, Jeremy decided to sue his homeowner’s association.

If he didn’t take a stand, where would it end? Keep in mind, this is right on the heels of Christian bakers in Oregon being shut down by administrative rule.

We talk to Jeremy Morris to find a very different result for him and his family.  Listen to hear the precedent his winning brings in an unfriendly judicial system that could start to turn the tide on judicial Christian persecution.

Jerome Corsi—In Jail for Christmas…?

Then we talk with author and investigative reporter, Dr. Corsi. His newest book is Silent No More: How I Became a Political Prisoner of Mueller’s “Witch Hunt. Although the hard copy won’t be released until March 2019, the e-book version is available right now.

We talk with Dr. Corsi to discuss the circumstances of a horrendous Mueller attack that seems bent on destroying his life.  The Deep State learned well the lessons from the Obama administration on how to weaponize an agency. And Dr. Corsi, along many other patriots, is seeing it up close and personal.

What Corsi is facing is eerily similar to what happened to our previous guest, CIA whistleblower, John Kiriakou. Use the bottomless checkbook of the federal government and bankrupt your targeted victim. Kiriakou was forced into accepting jail or go bankrupt, lose his home and family. He took jail, and had to plead guilty, despite not actually being guilty.

They’re doing the same to Dr. Corsi. Using what’s called “the perjury trap,” the FBI is trying to force Corsi to plead guilty for not remembering an email he sent two years ago or they will destroy him financially and bankrupt him until he has nothing left to fight with.

Fighting the Deep State

But in a courageous move, Dr. Corsi is fighting back. He filed two criminal complaints against Mueller and his henchmen, because he believes he’s being persecuted solely due to his support of President Trump.  He’s facing down a Deep State that has the money and time of the federal government to use to bankrupt him over a simple memory mistake.

How big of a fight is this? If this goes to trial, he’s facing a $2 million lawsuit. To fight his own government.

You can help Dr. Corsi fight this incredibly important battle. Head to Corsi’s Go Fund Me page to donate to his legal expenses.

Both stories are airing during our Christmas season that reminds us how important our values of a Christian based, small government system designed by our founding fathers is to protect us. But the war for freedom never ends as these two men demonstrate to us.  We must always stay vigilant and not allow anyone to take away our Christian beliefs or freedoms.

We know this isn’t your (or our) typical Christmas show but from all of us here at I Spy Radio to all of you — wishing you a very Merry Christmas!
