Defending Freedom while Leftists Sabotage it | Evidence Leads to Obama?

Defending Freedom while Leftists Sabotage it | Evidence Leads to Obama?

Show Summary: The first duty of government is to protect people. That’s why defending police and law enforcement is so important. But a new book, The Obama Gang, points to an Obama sabotage — a coordinated effort to undermine police in America. Here in Oregon, the right to defend yourself is always under attack. Did Republicans sell out? Literally?

URGENT: Be sure to contact the Oregon House Committee on Rules members and urge them to bring HJR18 to the floor. HJR 18 would end the governor’s emergency orders. See list of emails below.

Original Air Dates: May 1st & 2nd, 2021 | Steve Pomper & Rob Taylor

This Week: How many times have you watched that scary movie where somebody hears a noise, and as the stairs creak, they head downstairs in the dark while you scream at them, “Are you crazy?! Turn on the light!”  Or think, “There’s no way I’d do that without a gun!”

That pretty much sums up how Oregon’s legislature, and many blue states, are treating its citizens.  Because asking citizens to keep guns locked up, or not allowing law enforcement to do its job, feels like you’re living unprotected in that creaking and dark house.

With the good guys maybe not arriving in time.

Defend yourself? Good luck with that

On this week’s show, we take a look at how a society breaks down, and tyranny becomes the rule of law.  The stressors our police face become not only worrisome but dangerous as they drop their shields and find another way of life.  It’s happening right now in real time with hundreds of cops fleeing the large cities they were trying to protect — only to be denied the tools, or political support, they needed to get the job done.

And at a time when police are hamstrung, in Oregon politicians are making it harder for people to protect themselves in the absence of law enforcement. New, tyrannical gun laws have been passed force law-abiding citizens to lock guns up all in name of “making you safer.” Hint: locking up guns makes criminals safer.

The Obama Gang: New Book Points to Obama Sabotage

First up, we talk with retired Seattle police officer and author of five books, Steve Pomper.  Mr. Pomper is author of the recently released, The Obama Gang.

We discuss his work as an officer and why he chose to leave the Seattle police.  And what he feels will happen as police forces continue to shrink in size and authority.

You’ll also hear how Barack Obama (through his post-presidency foundation), assembled, launched, and wages the new assault on American law enforcement. If it sounds like sabotage, it’s because it is.

In Oregon, we lock up our businesses. And our guns.

Then Oregon’s own, Rob Taylor, joins us talking about what has happened to our 2nd Amendment rights during this year’s Oregon’s legislature, and why.  First, we find out the devastating affects Governor Kate’s lock down orders have already had on small towns. And what will the new round of lock downs have? And just where are the leaders who should be defending their citizens?

Did Oregon Republicans Sell Out on Gun Rights?

A new bill, SB554, passed that requires ALL guns to be locked up. The bill makes criminals of everyday Oregonians who want their guns at the ready should an actual criminal decide their house looks ripe for the plucking. Guess who in that scenario does not have their gun locked up?

While Republicans (and Democrats) have successfully used walking out in the past to deny quorum over important bills, for some reason, the Republicans stayed and allowed SB554 to pass. They didn’t vote for it, but they didn’t stop it. What gives?

Could it be that Oregon Republican legislators were “bought off”…? Oregon voters may not be too happy to hear what happened and why. And one Senator in particular may bear the brunt of it.

Take Action! End the Covid “Emergency”

As mentioned during the show, a joint resolution, HJR18,  is a simple sentence that reads, “Be It Resolved by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Oregon: Pursuant to ORS 401.204, the state of emergency declared by the Governor in Executive Order 20-03 on March 8, 2020, relating to the COVID-19 outbreak in Oregon, is terminated.” Short. Simple. To the point.

HJR 18 is currently in the House Committee on Rules. We urge you to copy and past the email addresses below, and ask they bring it to the floor. Be polite and respectful. But be strong. it can be as simple as “Please support HJR 18 and bring it to the floor.” It’s time to end the endless emergency orders.

New Questions: Las Vegas Shooter and Police Response

New Questions: Las Vegas Shooter and Police Response

Show Summary: A lot of questions still remain about the mass killing in Las Vegas. Not least of these are questions about the Las Vegas shooting police investigation itself—especially questions about the new timeline. Why such significant changes? We talk with law enforcement expert, Doug Wyllie, to analyze the process of the investigation, including how information is gathered along with how and when it is released to the public.

We also talk with NY Times bestselling author, David T. Hardy, about his just-released book, I’m from the Government and I’m here to Kill You: The The True Human Cost of Official Negligence . Why aren’t government officials held accountable? Why can’t they be held accountable.

Doug Wyllie: Las Vegas Shooting Police Investigation

In the immediate aftermath of the killing in Vegas, the authorities seemed fairly sure of two things. The timeline of the shooting and the FBI was certain the shooter had no ties to terrorism. Which was odd because they were also certain they knew practically nothing about him. Except that he wasn’t a terrorist.

If you heard last week’s I Spy Radio show, “The Las Vegas Shooting — Former Jihadist Reveals what FBI & Media are Ignoring,” you know there is a lot of circumstantial evidence that the FBI and law enforcement ought to be looking at that could show ties to terrorism. And isn’t the goal to prevent these from happening again? So why ignore possible ties? As Kamal pointed out, you don’t have to be a member of ISIS—or even a be a Muslim—to receive support and training from ISIS, the Muslim Brotherhood, or any Islamic terrorist group.

As we also pointed out last week, the FBI’s logical inconsistency (we know nothing at all about him but we’re sure he’s not a terrorist) raises questions about the FBI and about the investigation. Why would they do that?

To help us better understand the Las Vegas shooting police investigation, we turn to Doug Wyllie, the editor-at-large of PoliceOne, the most comprehensive and trusted online destination for law enforcement agencies and police departments worldwide.

To be clear, We’re not being critical of local law enforcement, we just want to analyze and better understand the process, especially when it comes to communications and releasing information to the public. Especially about the new and revised timeline for the Las Vegas shooting.

There is a huge difference between a security guard interrupting the shooting and a security guard showing up before it ever even started. Not least of which because it raises an entirely new question: why did he stop shooting?

Be sure to visit PoliceOne.com. They have some great articles for law enforcement article and for civilians, like what can and should you do during a mass shooting? See the links and resource section below for just a few of the more timely ones.

David Hardy: Why is Government Never Accountable?

Here at I Spy Radio, our tagline is “Keeping an eye on big government.” And pretty much since day one we’ve wondered why is it that some government bureaucrat can completely screw up — but never be held accountable. In the private sector, if you waste a billion dollars you’d probably get fired. In government, you’re promoted. What the…?

Except it’s worse than overspending. Way worse.

It turns out our government has not only wastefully spent our tax dollars, got us deeply into debt, created massive programs that fail time and again but they have actually killed people. In some cases, outright murder. And yet those responsible didn’t even see jail time.

Our second guest, NY Times bestselling author, David T. Hardy, has a new book out, I’m from the Government and I’m here to Kill You: The The True Human Cost of Official Negligence . We get his thoughts on the government officials and the FBI handling the Las Vegas shooting police investigation. He outlines not only why government officials aren’t held accountable but why can’t they be held accountable.

Think about that. Our government bureaucrats have set up the court systems to legally shield themselves from responsibility—no matter how irresponsible they are.

We now have a government of the people and for the people, just not responsible to the people.

But there are some solutions. Tune in to find out what.
