13-44 Green Hydrogen Can Work – Just Ignore Economics and Common Sense

13-44 Green Hydrogen Can Work – Just Ignore Economics and Common Sense

Show 13-44 Summary: People have been chasing the elusive dream of hydrogen as a fuel source for decades and decades. Billions have been poured into it before now. But there’s no such thing as a bad idea as long as the government is willing to pour even more billions into it. But now it’s even worse as they chase “green hydrogen.” Tune in to hear why hydrogen isn’t viable as a mass production “fuel,” how it isn’t even a fuel, and even far more expensive than it already is if we try to make it the way the Greenies want. And remember how CO2 is the enemy? Yeah not so much, apparently.

This Week – Why Green Hydrogen Doesn’t Make Sense

Hydrogen has been the elusive clean energy society has been chasing for decades. Well before G.W. Bush threw nearly $2 billion at (which went nowhere), scientists were trying to use hydrogen back into FDR’s days and even before then. (The Hindenburg largely derailed the whole idea.) But if clean hydrogen was a pipe dream, green hydrogen is a fanciful nightmare. Especially if you don’t care about things like economics or common sense.

The elusive dream of green hydrogen. Hydrogen is not cheap. And if not handled well, can go boom. See the Hindenburg.
The Hindenburg derailed hydrogen. Rightly so.

In a nutshell, green hydrogen costs 5–6 times more than current methods and does not return as much energy as it costs to produce.

But why let a few dozen billions of narrow-minded taxpayer dollars stand in your way of your grand vision? Especially when states like Oregon and Washington just got handed a billion dollars each of free taxpayer dollars to create hydrogen hubs.

But First: A Big Win!

Thanks to public outcry, which CFACT helped mobilize, Orsted has cancelled its two planned offshore wind farms in New Jersey waters. The Danish company our American taxpayer dollars was funding, pulled the plug. Despite a $100 million penalty for failing to complete delivery. And wrote off a $4 billion loss. Amazing how these “green energy” schemes cannot work without massive government subsidies.

Public outcry works. Don’t be silent. And let’s do that here in Oregon. See Show 13-42 for more information.

Green Hydrogen Defined

We welcome first-time guest, Frank Lasee, a former Wisconsin state senator, president of Truth in Energy and Climate, and a senior policy advisor to CFACT. As you might be able to tell from the name of his organization, there’s not a lot of truth out there in either climate or energy. And nowhere is that more true than green hydrogen.

First off, hydrogen is itself not really a fuel. It’s more akin to a battery because while it has energy, it first has to be created. It would be a bit like creating oil out of various elements first before drilling for it.

Hydrogen must be made; it is not a fuel. It is a storage device, like a battery. If not handled properly, it can go boom! In a great big ball fire.
– Excerpt from “Hydrogen – Will this Green dream prove an expensive nightmare?” by Frank Lasee

What is green hydrogen? The label “green hydrogen” is all about how the hydrogen is made. There are several ways to make hydrogen. One is a simple electrolysis method, applying a current to water that splits the molecules into hydrogen and oxygen.  Your high school science teacher might have demonstrated this. Another is gasification that extracts hydrogen (and other elements) from natural gas with high-temperature steam.

Green hydrogen is extracted from whatever source but must use “renewable” energy to do so. The most common being pushed right now is to use solar and wind as the energy source.

How Green Hydrogen is Made

Except there’s a major problem with “green” wind and solar. They do not produce energy 70% of the time. Barely any wind. No wind. Not enough sun. Darkness. But to make clean, green hydrogen at scale takes enormous amounts of electricity. And water. Lots of water.

To make one kilogram of hydrogen (which has roughly the same potential energy as a gallon of gas), you need 13 kg of water to split. The water is heated to 2,000 degrees. That’s a lot of electricity. And then after it’s split, it has to be superchilled to near absolute zero so it can be pressurized and stored. And that takes another 40 kg of water to cool it.

So for every 1 kg of hydrogen produced, it takes 53 kg of water — and a massive amount of electricity.

What happens if the wind’s not blowing? Or it’s night time? You don’t have to be a paid TV scientist to realize this is not a process you can start and stop because of the unreliability of your “green” power sources. Gosh. You’ll have to supplement all intermittent green energy with coal. Or have massive batteries.

The Green Hydrogen Dilemma

One notion to get past the unreliability of so-called green energy and its unreliability is to tap into hydroelectric dams. Which the Pacific Northwest has plenty of. Except for the last decade, the environmentalists have been busily trying to yank them all out. To “save the salmon.”

Now what? Save the salmon or have green hydrogen?

In fact, the hypnotic allure of billions free taxpayer dollars has put a halt on at least one lawsuit to force the government to pull out dams on the Snake River.

Whoops.

But it’s not just the dams. You’ve got California, which on Thursday emptied 7 billion gallons (7,559,743,200 gallons to be precise) of fresh water from its reservoirs into the ocean. Why? To adjust the salinity levels in a delta to “save the fish.” The Delta Smelt. Of which a grand total of zero Delta Smelt have been seen in annual Fall Surveys since 2017.

Well there goes 142,636,664 gallons of hydrogen they could have made.

Fish or dams for hydrogen? What to do, what to do…

Green Energy: It’s All About Money

Tune in to hear how “green energy” is not green. And it’s not really about energy. What it’s really all about is the money.

And it’s not about “Climate Change” either. Why? Because while we’ve been shrieked at about CO2 emissions for two decades, it turns out they will not only sacrifice fish to get those billions. They’re also willing to emit more CO2 to get those billions.

Just like wearing the inappropriate “green” label for green hydrogen, to get the label “clean hydrogen” all you have to do is not emit more than 2 kg of carbon dioxide per hydrogen produced.

Read it for yourself: The National Clean Hydrogen Standard is 2 kg CO2e/kg H2. That’s 2x the amount of CO2 for every one Hydrogen (H2). See page 75 of the H2IQ Presentation from the U.S. Dept of Energy.

Yes. You can emit twice the CO2 you get of hydrogen. So much for CO2 as the enemy.

Don’t miss the show. That’s just one of much of the green hydrogen nonsense.

13-42 Winds of War: Billions from Offshore Wind Farms – and Fighting Back

Show 13-42 Summary: Do you remember how environmentalists used to want to “save the whales”? And they were angry at “greedy corporations”? Now, those same environmentalists have figured out they can make billions from taxpayers by forcing states to take definitely-not-green offshore wind farms. Whales be damned. Calling it “green” doesn’t make it environmentally friendly. Calling it “saving the planet” doesn’t make it less greedy. This week, learn about the expensive, inefficient, and environmentally damaging wind farms the Biden administration is eager to shove down states’ throats. And how to fight back. Because right now, they’re trying to shove a windfarm off Oregon’s Southern Coast.

This Week – The Lunacy of Wind Farms

It’s always easy to spend someone else’s money. Just ask any politician. It’s even easier to spend it if those billions (trillions!) you’re spending are going to people who will help re-elect you. Ever since I Spy Radio’s first year in 2011, we recognized that the environmental movement had become anti-development, anti-free-market, and decidedly anti-American.

It just so happens another organization got its own start with much the same realization: The Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow. Or CFACT. CFACT started back in 1985 and since then, they have grown into one of the most trusted, most respected sources of real information and real action to push back against the Far Left environmental movement. And win.

Right now, the Biden administration is giving out billions of free taxpayer dollars in a spending spree making the $130 billion (and counting) to Ukraine look like pocket money. Biden is shoving 100s of billions into wind farms. And, in particular, offshore wind farms.

CFACT on Offshore Windfarms

This week, we welcome Craig Rucker, the president and co-founder of CFACT, to talk about green energy, the billions the Left is making from it, and the billions of taxpayer dollars wasted on these offshore wind farms.

If you are not familiar with CFACT, you should be. Check out their great work, articles, videos, and a lot more on cfact.org.
And if you’re looking for good, reliable, and real facts about “green energy,” Global Warming, and more, be sure to visit CFACT’s Climate Depot.

It turns out these offshore wind farms are most definitely not environmentally friendly. On the East Coast, where there are already more than 3,000 wind farms spread out of 2.3 million acres. And since then, whales have been washing ashore, dead, in unprecedented numbers. Including the highly endangered Right Whale, of which there are less than 300 animals remaining. Why? Here’s a hint. It’s not Global Warming. The only thing that changed in their environment were these wind farms.

But what can we do to stop these? Especially here in Oregon, where greedy developers and government bureaucrats eager to spend 100s of billions of mandated taxpayer dollars have their sights on Oregon’s beautiful Southern Coast.

Tune in to hear how CFACT is successfully fighting back. And how the economics of “green” isn’t green when they start losing taxpayer subsidies.

Don’t miss: Conservation Nation’s (a CFACT project) video, “Save the Whales from Ocean Industrialization.”

Offshore Wind Farms off Oregon’s Southern Coast

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management has targeted Oregon’s pristine Southern Coast for one of Biden’s costly offshore wind farms. We bring back Jennifer Hamaker, the president of Oregon Natural Resource Industries (or ONRI), to talk about this multi-billion-dollar windfarm project.

Jennifer, whose family on her dad’s side were commercial fishermen, talks to us what it’s like to grow up in a fishing family. What the way of life means to them. And how these offshore wind farms will endanger that way of life, the fish and birds and mammals in the sea, and the coastal communities.

And for what? A multi-billion-dollar wind farm that will only generate about 1.2 gigawatts of electricity. So greedy green companies can make billions, endangering the marine life environmentalists claim they want to protect, only to generate not even 10% of Coos Bay’s yearly electric? Really?

Help Stop Oregon’s Planned Offshore Wind Farm

ONRI is helping organize resistance to the offshore wind farm scheme. They have gotten the word out about public meetings. And are alerting people to get their public comments in to oppose this windfarm.

Screenshot public comment page for BOEM's offshore wind farm off Oregon's Coast
They kind of hide the comment button. (Click for full size.)

And it’s been working. There has been so much push back, especially at these public meetings, that the bureaucrats have pushed back the deadline for public comments until October 31, 2023.

Submit your public comments today about the planned offshore wind farm off Oregon’s coast. Go here for the main page to read the document if you’d like. Note that they kind of hide the comment button (see the picture before you head there). Or just go here to jump directly to the comment page.

Don’t be silent! Public outcry has been proven to stop these ugly, expensive, colossal taxpayer swindles. Skeptical? Then listen and learn.

13-28 How Not to Destroy Oregon’s Forests

Show 13-28 Summary: This week, we’re checking in with Jennifer Hamaker of Oregon Natural Resource Industries, to hear what happened over at the Board of Forestry’s meeting in Sisters, back in early June. ONRI is focused on stopping the HCP, Oregon’s plan to abandon 53% of its state forests. But it’s more than just abandoning them. Oregon’s HCP would hand them over to an abusive kidnapper.

This Week – Fighting for Oregon’s Forests

We talk with Jennifer Hamaker of Oregon Natural Resource Industries, to hear what happened over at the Board of Forestry’s meeting in Sisters, back in early June. We interviewed her twice in the weeks leading to the BoF meeting (Show 13-19 and Show 13-20) as they worked to stop the HCP. But what happened?

They didn’t win the war but they did win the first battle. Winning outright would have meant the Board of Forestry rejected the onerous Habitat Conservation Plan on the spot. But that’s too much to expect from any bureaucracy. But. They did win a reprieve. And that first battle was a huge win! After ONRI showed up in force, the Department of Forestry pushed back the final decision by a minimum of two months — from September 2023 to November 2023.

Stopping the HCP: Oregon’s disastrous “Habitat Conservation Plan” would abandon over 53% of Oregon’s state forests for over 70 years and end millions of dollars currently generated from sales of timber on state lands.

But is there even more to all this?

We talk to Jennifer Hamaker, the president of ONRI to find out what could be happening behind the scenes and why else the BoF and DoF could be backing away. Because we know it’s not common sense.

Stopping the HCP

It turns out that stopping the HCP is more than just derailing Oregon abandoning the forests. For 70 years. Instead, there’s another element to all of this. Because the HCP doesn’t just abandon the forests. The HCP hands over the forests to a kidnapper.

What’s this, you ask? Yes. The HCP means not just abandoning forests. It hands control of them over the federal government.

We told you there was more to this than meets the eye. Don’t miss this highly insightful show!

This Week – It’s the Elections, Stupid

Bill Clinton famously had a sign on the Oval office wall, “It’s the economy, stupid.” It served as a daily reminder that the economy is what matters most to most people. Well, who is in charge of that economy comes down to elections.

In Oregon, the far-left policies keep us entrenched in high taxes, rising housing costs, and dubious curricula in public schools to cripple the next generation, and elections that don’t bring answers to the problems. It all feels hopeless. and many have left the state going to redder pastures to find the answers in states that make sense. Lower taxes, less big government, lower public debt, or maybe none at all if you’re in South Dakota. Meanwhile, Oregon’s lawmakers look to ruin our electric grid by pulling out dams, then force electric cars on its citizens whether we like it or not. Thus dies the free market.

Mike Erickson, Candidate for Oregon’s New CD 6

Speaking of that sign in the Oval office, we’ve gone from “It’s the economy, stupid,” to “It’s a stupid economy.” Here’s a hint to voters in Oregon’s new CD 6. If you want to fix the economy, don’t elect someone who has no business experience. Oregon, and the nation, needs elected officials who have practical business experience — not someone who has spent their entire life in government. (Hint number two: Biden has no practical business experience and look how that’s worked out.)

If you want to support Mike Erickson, find out what you can do at MikeEricksonforCongress.org. (Start by sharing that with your family and friends!)

Remember the strategy we mentioned months ago: If you live in a safe district (in Oregon, that’s CD 2) or in a hopeless district (CDs 1 and 3), put your time and money and energy to promote and support candidates in districts where they have a chance to flip a seat. That’s CDs 4 (Alek Skarlatos), 5 (Lorie DeRemer), and 6 — Mike Erickson.

Mike is running against Andrea Salinas, a far-left democrat who spent her entire adult life in and around government. On her website, she says she grew up in a hard-working family where nothing was handed to them but they made it through hard work. And, like Mike, she also had a cop for a father. So why is Mike fighting for police and she’s voting to defund the police? And how did she go from “working hard” and pulling oneself up through hard work to a career fighting for government handouts paid for by other people?

So Much for Open and Honest Elections

Here’s a funny thing.

In Oregon, the Secretary of State’s job is to audit other state agencies. But for some reason, she has declared that the elections division is off limits. Why is that? Instead, she has joined a lawsuit against a voter to declare a Washington County database should be shielded from public view and scrutiny.

Imagine trying that if the IRS wanted to audit your business. No, you can’t see the numbers. Trust us. Everything’s fine. You’d be saying that from jail. But the State is refusing to hand over a database, calling it proprietary information of a private company handling Washington County’s elections.

And why is a private company handling our elections to begin with?

We talk with Chuck Wiese — a scientist, analyst, and meteorologist, who has stepped up and joined the front lines of freedom — who was there at both days of the Sippel case trial. You won’t believe what the judge did to an actual, world renowned data scientist. Well, it’s Oregon. Maybe you will.

If the judge decides against the Sippel case, it will only continue to fuel the fire and doubts about the 2020 election. The only way to put out that fire is to open up the data to prove there wasn’t any manipulation. But hiding it and then expecting people to trust the government…?

Regardless of whether or not you think the 2020 election, when it comes to elections, any election, the Golden Rule should be “Open the books.” Hiding the results behind a wall of secrecy is, well, just stupid.

Original Air Dates: Aug 7th & 8th, 2021 | Dr. Bob Zybach & Sen. Dennis Linthicum

This Week: Drought and Wildfires

Never let a good catastrophe go to waste. That’s been the democrat and socialist mantra for decades.

But, worse, they create the crisis and offer the solution. We’re certainly seeing that with covid, a disease that you’re virtually guaranteed to survive with a average 99.8% recovery rate. But why let math get in the way of politicized science.

And there’s no place they do this more than the environment.

Wildfires: It’s not Global Warming, Stupid

First up we talk with our go-to expert, Dr. Bob Zybach, about the so-called “historic” drought. Is it? And of course drought impacts forests, which the so-called environments refuse to manage. Why is that?

Because, of course, you can make money on a crisis. Nobody throws millions of dollars at a problem that is easily managed. But if you create fear, you create opportunity. The political and financial kind. And why solve a problem like drought if you can exploit a never-ending river of money out of it?

But are people starting to wake up to the scam? Not enough. Yet. But there are cracks in their armor. Years ago, they never would have said that the forests have been mismanaged for decades. Like Oregon’s governor did just a dew weeks ago on a national news program. Excuse me, governor? Which party has been managing Oregon’s forests for decades. Oh, yes. That would be the democrats.

If they’re admitting it, maybe, just maybe, we can start solving the problems. But it’ll cost ya. If democrats are allowed to stay in power.

The Real Drought: Taking Action on Fixable Problems

Keep in mind, drought has been part of mankind’s existence since mankind existed. It’s not that there aren’t solutions. It’s that solving a problem means you can’t exploit it. And that’s what drives democrats right now. A crisis you create and just happen to have organizations that meets the needs of that crisis — without actually solving the crisis — is a situation that you can exploit. For literally billions.

We talk with Oregon Senator Dennis Linthicum from the Klamath Falls area — the focal point of environmental exploitation for decades.

It’s not that there isn’t water, it’s that the water is allowed to flow into the ocean. Without benefiting man nor fish. Think about it. If you let water go down stream, how does that benefit the fish you’re trying to save.

But is there something sinister afoot?

Environmentalists have tried for years to drive farmers off their land. Land that without water is both useless and worthless. And if farmers can’t make it, they could be forced to sell their land for pennies on the dollar.

And, abracadabra, environmentalists who buy that land could turn around and sell it $100 acres for $10,000 per acre mitigation credits. Some areas of the country would buy them for $50,000 an acre. And here you thought Lefties were against profits.

Air Dates: Oct. 12 & 13, 2019 | Ron Rychlak & Jonathan Williams

This week: We continue our discussion with Ron Rychlak, co-author of Disinformation. We’ll talk with him about one of the greatest tools to defeat a disinformation campaign: recognizing it. As we said last week, plots hatched in darkness die in sunlight.

Disinformation in Action

We’ll start by discussing the current disinformation campaign: the latest attack on Donald Trump to ‘re-frame” him as a traitor to his country rather than what he is, a patriot fighting the corruption that runs so deep in our own government.

But people who are about to be exposed are going to fight back. And that’s exactly what we’re seeing now. But the question is, who is running this?

Be sure to tune in to hear the telltale signs of a disinformation campaign as we’re seeing right now. And don’t miss our discussion with Ron about fighting back against disinformation.

You’ll come away with some tools of your own to recognize it. And in the case of disinformation, knowledge truly is power.

Disinformation by Ron Rychlak book coverBe sure to check out Ron’s terrific book. It is truly an eye-opener about what is happening today as this Soviet-era propaganda tool is still being used today — right here in America

After we speak with Ron, we switch gears a bit to discuss how disinformation isn’t just about attacking and re-framing political or other high-profile targets. It can also be used to push policy.

Applied Disinformation

When it comes to policy, there’s probably no greater example of applied disinformation than Climate Change. Why? Because it’s based on falsehood that’s not easily disproved. But wait, there’s more.

We talk with Jonathan Williams, the chief economist at ALEC, the American Legislative Exchange Council. First, we start with some typical disinformation when it comes to economics. For example, economic policies that sound like they should be true but aren’t. Like “if we raise taxes, the state will get more money.”

Global Warming: the Biggest Disinformation Campaign of All Time

Climate Change, formerly “global warming,” formerly “global cooling,” is a prime example of a hoax masquerading, through the tools of disinformation, as a legitimate science. With the tools from our first guest, you’ll recognize how and why it’s all a giant disinformation campaign.

But you’ll also hear how this disinformation becomes the basis of damaging economic policy. Like California not touching the forests (that are now burning) and pushing through “green energy” instead of common-sense energy programs. And you’ll hear how it violates common economic principles via government control.

Government control is only a good thing when it’s about controlling government.

Michael Mann's hockey stick launched Global Warming Alarmism
Michael Mann’s hockey stick launched Global Warming Alarmism

What is it that AOC has been championing?  Oh yes, we have 12 years to live. And while some of us are old enough to remember four previous “we only have 10 years to do something” events, she’s a good marketer because millennials are so terrified of global warming, they’ve been actually committing suicide over it.

Seriously.

It would be funny if it weren’t so sadly true.

Officialdom of Global Warming Scaremongering

One reason people take this nonsense of Global Warming seriously is because of official reports, like the UN Special Report on Global Warming, released in October, 2018. If you look through it, there it is: 2030 as doomsday. Just 11 years from now  as the point of no return—if we keep on our current path and don’t do something. And it’s mentioned 35 times in the report.

So, is it marketing? Or scientific research?

Mann’s Vaunted Hockey Stick

Back in July, we had Dr. Tim Ball on I Spy Radio to discuss American exceptionalism.  After our interview, Dr. Ball gave us a heads-up about some fake numbers and scaremongering the IPCC were releasing to prop up their global warming alarmism.  We penciled him in for early September.

But then something amazing happened. Because during our wait to have him back on, he won a huge, HUGE court decision on the defamation lawsuit brought by Michael Mann, the hockey stick inventor.  The hockey stick that has become the “proof” of global warming.

Hockey Stick or Science Schtick?

Dr. Ball had been sued because he’d taken Mann’s science to task and Mann, not appreciating anyone daring to doubt his science schtick, decided to sue Dr Ball over defamation.

But there was a problem when Dr. Ball asked for Mann’s evidence.  Mann wouldn’t deliver the computer program he’s used to interpret the numbers to arrive at his conclusions.

A scientist who didn’t want to reveal his data? Or his methods?  That’s a violation of a basic tenant of science: always show your work so others can independently verify it. Instead, Mann cried that his “proprietary information” couldn’t be revealed. Basically, Mann had created his own secret version of Microsoft Excel to interpret the data. No wonder then that no one else has been able to come up with the same results using the same data.

And that’s why it’s not so much a hockey stick as hockey schtick.

But it makes you wonder. If a scientist doesn’t want to reveal his data, is he a scientist? Or a marketer? Or a marketer pretending to be a scientist?

And ask yourself this. Why would Mann create falsified evidence of something that didn’t exist — unless he stood to profit from it?

Tune in this week for an inspiring and in-depth look at why you never give up. Especially when you’re right.

And what’s really exciting? Dr. Ball’s win may have saved the world from this ongoing hoax.

Air Dates: Dec. 1 & 2, 2018 | Dr. Tim Ball

This Week:  Like you, we always find it interesting when a politician waits until after winning their election to roll out their plans if they get elected.  Such as their budget plans. Well, we warned you this was coming.

I Spy was concerned that if Knute won the governor’s seat, he wanted a carbon tax—and likely would get one. Why? Because Republicans in the legislature would feel obligated to pass it.  And we also knew that even though Kate Brown hadn’t let voters see her big plans to “save” Oregon from financial disaster, we warned you that if Kate won, we’d see a carbon tax, as well as a cap & trade scheme from her too.  She didn’t disappoint.

Stay with us. There is some good news in all this. But first the bad news.

Kate Brown’s Carbon Tax

With the election over, Kate Brown can finally be honest about how much she wants to spend. And about her plans for a carbon tax.

And, sure enough, just this week, The Oregonian ran an article about Kate’s sweeping budget proposal that names all kinds of new spending—about a 10% increase in state spending that will have to be raised through new taxes.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on global warming and science and carbon tax
If Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez believes in Global Warming, it must be true. Just like unicorns.

The shortlist of Oregon’s new spending: $2.2 billion increases for schools, a $375 million PERS bailout for schools, climate change, $50 million on homeless, and oh yes, a special fund to fight President Trump in court. She’ll have to find new creative ways to squeeze even more out of Oregon taxpayers and businesses.

That $2.2 billion doesn’t include other taxes already going up. Remember that Highway Tax Oregon passed in 2017? It’s set to double in 2019. A whopping $434 million. All told, it’s over $3 billion in new taxes. Oh, and that sales tax on healthcare plans that “wasn’t” a sales tax? That’s going up too.

And all that spending doesn’t even include dollar figures for the carbon tax she wants.

The Good News on Oregon’s Carbon Tax Plans

While the rest of the country has the enjoyment of less tax and less government in their lives, Oregon’s Kate Brown plans to heap more taxes and more government on Oregonians.  Has she mentioned any cuts?  No.

So what’s the good news in all of this? It’s all in the D’s lap.  They not only own it but will reap the consequences.  Blue states have been turned red for a lot less. Even deep green Washington rejected a carbon tax.

And that’s the other good news about the prospects of Oregon’s carbon tax. She’s likely not going to pull Republicans over to support a carbon tax. So all it will take is one or two Democrats who think a carbon tax (on top of everything else) is a step too far.

That’s why this week’s show is about giving you the information to help defeat a potential carbon tax.

To get a better handle on what a carbon tax is, how it works, and the propaganda to support it, we call in our climatologist expert, Dr. Tim Ball.

Do you find value in what we’re doing? Consider a gift to help keep us on the air. [wpedon id=”2365″ align=”center”]

Carbon Tax: What the Rest of the World Thinks

Living in Canada, Dr. Tim Ball has witnessed how Canada’s leadership is attempting the same thing—only not everybody is on board. Yes, that’s right. Even Canada is rejecting carbon taxes. Several provinces, including Canada’s most populous, Ontario, are rejecting Trudeau’s carbon tax.

How bad is it? The previous Ontario government was kicked out of office, and by huge margins, when the opponent ran on a promise of getting out of the carbon tax scheme.

Are you listening Oregon Democrats?

And look what happened last week in Paris.  There were literal riots in the street when people found out just how much gasoline taxes were skyrocketing thanks to Macron’s carbon tax. Somehow, you didn’t see reports of police using tear gas on their own citizens who were protesting Macron’s carbon tax. CNN must have been too busy reporting on tear gas being used on our border against invading illegal immigrants carrying flags from other countries.

It’s safe to say that worldwide, support for carbon tax is slipping.

A Carbon Tax Revolt in Oregon?

Could this happen in Oregon? Could we see the voters finally grasp what the Democrats’ plans are? And actually start to fight back? And, dare we hope, rise up against those Democrats force them back away from the brink—when the rest of the nation, and the world, are finally seeing the light.

Find out what you need to know on this week’s I Spy Radio. And then get your phones warmed up as the new legislative sessions starts this winter.

Dr. Tim Ball, a retired professor from Winnipeg, has been a favorite punching of the mainstream media for his skepticism about Global Warming. He not only disputes the so-called “scientific consensus”  of Global Warming but also the so-called “science” of Global Warming.

Since the media is a cult of true believers, you can imagine why they will do whatever they can to destroy Dr. Ball.

This Week: Mainstream Media Manipulation

mainstream media lies to cover for Obama
The mainstream media lies to the point of propaganda. All to push their politics.

On this week’s show, we continue our look at the mainstream media. Previously, we talked with Scott Adams (of Dilbert fame) about persuasion and how the media is steadily undermining their own credibility. Trump Derangement Syndrome anyone?

We also talked last week with bestselling author Scott McEwen (co-author of American Sniper) about mainstream media’s dishonesty. This week, we tie it all together. You’ll hear how the media is actively sabotaging America and how their efforts to destroy Trump impacts everyone. Even people who dislike Trump.

Why? Because when they don’t tell the truth, it harms all of us.

The Perfect Example of Damaging Misleading: Global Warming

There is no better example of how and why the mainstream media manipulates and misleads than the issue of Global Warming. Why? Because they are so willing to kill sell their soul for a political ideology.

It’s not science. It’s manipulation. And there are literally hundreds of billions of dollars at stake. Even trillions of dollars.

Tune in to hear how it all started, the diabolical and ingenious strategy behind it. You’ll hear how their methods to manipulate the public on Global Warming  (better known as “Climate Change” when it’s not summer) are used time and again on other policy issues. And how no matter whether it warms or cools, they can claim a win.

Poor Jim Acosta. No one likes him.In short: the media lies. They aren’t telling the truth about Global Warming (there isn’t any) and they’re not telling the truth about the Trump presidency. But it’s how those lies affect all of us that you need to pay attention to.

Because the mainstream media isn’t just sabotaging themselves. They’re sabotaging all of us. And America. Find out why. This week.

Leftist Lunacy – Comey, Kathy Griffin and Paris Withdrawal Syndrome

Show Summary: When it comes to Leftist lunacy, it’s a never-ending target-rich environment. This week, we focus on the James Comey hearing, Kathy Griffin, and the ultimate lunacy: Climate Change. (We capitalize that because to those on the political left, it’s a religion.) Tune in to hear how withdrawing from the Paris Accord may be the next Leftist derangement syndrome. Air Dates: June 10 & 11, 2017 | Dr Tim Ball & James Hirsen

Climate change is the ultimate “heads I win, tails you lose” marketing scheme. If the earth warms, they can say, “See?!? We need to DO something!” But if the earth cools they can say “See?!? Our efforts are working!”

But the whole thing reminds me of a Gilligan’s Island episode – The professor had set up a measuring stick in the lagoon and after carefully recording the depths he came to the conclusion the island was sinking. Soon, he had the entire island in uproar as they packed everything up and moved to higher ground — that is, until they found out that Gilligan had been using the stick for his lobster traps and kept moving the stick further and further from shore to deeper water.

Likewise, the so-called “science” of global warming is ripe with fraud, including fudging the temperature readings when the warming stopped.

This week, we talk with Dr. Tim Ball about what it means for the U.S. to withdraw from the Paris Accord. While President Trump said it was a “bad deal” for America, it goes far, far deeper. Now, by withdrawing, it is starting an a cascading effect that has impacts for the U.S., the Leftist movement, the U.N., and much more.

We also talk about coal and what we ought to be doing instead of what we are doing—which is so often the case with anything Washington D.C. gets its grubby fingers on.

The James Comey Show

Kathy Griffin led the news this week for her lunacy but the lunacy of the Left wasn’t done there. Enter the Comey Show.

The day we talked with James Hirsen, the Comey testimony had just concluded so we just had to talk to James about what had happened. Comey’s testimony put the Trump-Russian collusion story to rest, or should have but we’re sure the Left will continue its effort to do all it can to undermine President Trump.

We do talk about Kathy Griffin and the nonsense coming out of Hollywood, which is sounding more shrill and desperate. Will studios like Marvel finally get the message?
