Our Many Healthcare Crises, Part 2 | The Root Cause of Many of Them

Our Many Healthcare Crises, Part 2 | The Root Cause of Many of Them

Show Summary: When Obamacare was passed (rammed through without a single Republican vote), it was supposed to fix health care and lower costs. All those savings, remember? What happened? But there are more problems and more spending than ever. This week, we continue our talk with healthcare-system expert, Lisa Lettenmaier, but zero in on the two root causes of many of, if not all of, our many healthcare crises.

This Week – Our Many Healthcare Crises

We continue our deep dive into the problems plaguing our health care system—the many healthcare crises and the ever-growing expense. How is it that we are spending more than ever — by far! — on healthcare and yet it’s just one crisis after another?

But this week, we zero in on the two main problems. And they should be no surprise, really, for anyone who has followed I Spy Radio’s many shows on healthcare or for anyone who has a lick of common sense. The two root causes are money and government. Particularly, government interference.

Healthcare crises in the UK: "My cousin had to deliver his child because the ambulance said they’d take 4 and a half hours to come for his wife. What is the UK coming to? He had to watch a YouTube tutorial on how to deliver a baby."
Healthcare crises in the UK. THIS is what they want to emulate?

We bring back our healthcare system expert, Lisa Lettenmaier. Lisa is currently an insurance agent and owns Health Source NW. But her background is in accounting, overseeing budgets and forecasting for major companies. So when she looks at the healthcare crises, she is viewing it not just from an insurance standpoint but from a systemic-analyst’s viewpoint.

Need healthcare and not sure where to turn? Give Lisa a call. Her website is www.HealthSourceNW.com.  She helps individuals and businesses throughout Oregon and SW Washington make sure they have the right coverage for when, God forbid, they really need it. Will your policy cover what you think it does?

The Root Cause of So Many Healthcare Crises

This week, you’ll also hear an extended opener from I Spy Radio host, Mark Anderson, on the government’s interference — sabotage, really — of the normal free-market forces that would normally lower cost and improve care. Mark walks you through what a free market system would look like. Hint: we don’t have one now (remember Obama et al. when they were pushing Obamacare:  “the free market failed”?), not in health care. And he walks you through the government interfering with the free market, much of which can be traced back to a 1943 IRS ruling.

If you didn’t already think “they” are destroying things on purpose, you’ll believe it after this show. No one, no government, makes this many “mistakes” on purpose.

This Week – Our Many Healthcare Crises

We are diving deep into the problems plaguing our health care system. The many healthcare crises and the ever-growing expense. How is it that we are spending more than ever — by far! — on healthcare and yet it’s just one crisis after another?

Does anyone even remember that we were promised that Obamacare would fix all this? And cost less?

We bring back our healthcare system expert, Lisa Lettenmaier. Lisa is currently an insurance agent and owns Health Source NW. But her background is in accounting, overseeing budgets and forecasting for major companies. So when she looks at the healthcare crises, she is viewing it not just from an insurance standpoint but from a systemic analyst’s viewpoint.

And it’s not good.

We talk with Lisa about the many healthcare crises right now but focus on three in particular that are the most troubling. Including the mental health crisis, which, in many ways, is emblematic of the other system-wide problems.

We’ll continue this deep dive next week and focus in on the root of all these crises. Which has changed everything—and not for the good.

Dobbs and EPA — What a Whole New SCOTUS Means for America

Dobbs and EPA — What a Whole New SCOTUS Means for America

Show Summary: This week, two momentous decisions by the Supreme Court will have long-reaching impact. We talk with constitutional attorney, Jonathan Emord, about the Dobbs and EPA rulings, why they are so important, and the impact they will have. And why Dobbs and EPA signal a whole new court—and the first true major blow to the deep state in decades.

This Week – Dobbs and EPA

Instead of two guests, we have two topics. We are going to dig in deep into two recent Supreme Court decisions: the Dobbs and EPA rulings.

Specifically, Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization and WV v EPA. These two decisions alone represent a huge shift at SCOTUS.

Both of rulings these are momentous in their own rights.

Dobbs because it erases an imaginary “Constitutional right” of abortion and will open the door to more protections for the unborn at the state level. And the EPA ruling, because it restores some Constitutional balance among the branches of government. And opens the door to weakening the administrative state. Provided that Congress exercises the power that was restored to it.

Did the 2022 elections just get yugely more important? Yes.

Dobbs Overturns Roe v Wade

Why was Roe v Wade so hard to overturn? How did the 1973 court get is so wrong and invent a “right”? Tune in to find out. And, also importantly, going forward Dobbs gives SCOTUS the mental permission — the fortitude and courage — to make other rulings that restore constitutional order.

The era of the John Roberts court is officially over.

Could America, after all the shrieking is done, could America turn more pro life after the overturn of Roe v Wade with more protections for the unborn? And could we be witnessing the beginning of the end of the Deep State?

West Virginia vs EPA – First Major Blow to the Deep State

As Jonathan Emord reminds us, the administrative state is the true government because they hold all the real power. Effectively. Because Congress has not used its power. And the Executive Branch has both abused its power  through overreach and failed to use its power to rein in unelected bureaucrats.

Want to know how the administrative state (aka the Deep State) took over? Then you must read Jonathan Emord’s The Authoritarians

The EPA ruling just restored the separation of powers in a big way. The EPA grabbed a tremendous amount of power when it decided it could use the Clean Air Act to effectively regulate the entire economy via climate change. Now, its WV v EPA ruling stripped the EPA of that power and handed it back to Congress. Effectively, SCOTUS reaffirmed that laws must come through Congress, not the unelected bureaucrats of the administrative state. And, potentially, could strip billions from the Far Left’s theft of public dollars.

With these two rulings, we stand at the threshold of history.

Guest Post: Chuck Wiese Primer for Dr. Frank’s Executive Club Presentation

Guest Post: Chuck Wiese Primer for Dr. Frank’s Executive Club Presentation

The following primer for Dr. Frank’s Executive Club presentation is via Chuck Wiese, a scientist frequent I Spy Radio guest.

Dr. Frank’s Executive Club presentation can be viewed at this link on Rumble.com. (YouTube has already banned it and threatened the videographer if he tries to post it again.)

Dr. Frank’s Executive Club Presentation Primer

1. Frank’s data proves there is machine tabulator manipulation of the votes during an election.

2. The analysis follows the laws of nature and probability as determiners. If you roll a set of dice 100 times and get a set of numbers from rolling that you can exactly predict before rolling those dice, this tells you the dice are fake because, by probability, that is impossible. It is the same reasoning through probability that winning the lottery by getting exactly 6 numbers on any singular random participant is very difficult and takes millions of participants before you finally get a winner.

3. Frank’s data shows, that the election tabulator machines have pre-programmed numbers inserted in them that draw from census population data by age that are eligible to vote in any particular county that are paired with registered voters. Oregon’s dirty registration rolls that are not cleaned up are also used as a comparison to active registered voters. The difference between census, dirty rolls and total registered voters gives the machines a “pad” they can draw from to create phantom votes if desired for the vote tabulations. Keep in mind that the total registered voters are NOT the actual number of votes that are cast in any election because that number never reaches 100%. In any election, data shows participation is typically between 60-75% turnout in elections that interest the public and under 50% in many other elections.

4. NOW, what Doug Franks is able to show is that in Oregon, in very county in this state, by plotting the polynomial curve that the data exactly represents, he can predict with data from just one county, what the “computed” number of voles will be in every age group across the spectrum in all the other counties. It is typically found to be near 86% . When his does this, he gets a correlation coefficient of anywhere from 99.2 to 99.9% which means he can predict the outcome of all the votes cast by age in every county.

5. The point in all of this is that it is mathematically impossible without a direct manipulation algorithm of some sort that is in the vote tabulator machines. By probability and the laws of nature, if the votes cast by all eligible to vote that participated were a random event as they should be with no manipulations, you would not be able to come anywhere close to having this sort of accuracy or this sort of a correlation coefficient to the data. It proves there is massive fraud being done.

CONCLUSION: Whoever is doing this is taking away our First Amendment rights to free expression of voting for the candidates to run either our local governments or federal offices and pre-selecting the winners the establishment wants. This is the worst offense against our Constitution you could ever do in a free society.

Only remedy is to stop vote by mail which invites the same fraud which is actually paired with the machines to guide the tabulators in redistributing votes and was observed in all the swing states in the 2020 election.

Votes must be cast by showing up at your precinct, showing proof of your ID, then casting your ballot at the precinct in a voting booth and returning it immediately at the precinct to avoid any chain of custody issues.

Woke Sabotage: A Path of Destruction on Purpose? Or Just Accidental?

Woke Sabotage: A Path of Destruction on Purpose? Or Just Accidental?

Show Summary: We all know the Left’s ideology leaves a path of destruction wherever it goes. That’s why people flee Marxist countries on homemade rafts. The latest incarnation of Left ideology is collectively known as “woke” as they seek to enforce their vision of a socialist utopia on elements of American society. Like making race and gender a hiring criteria. Or pushing unlimited, anytime abortion, even “post birth abortion” (i.e., infanticide). But that wide swath of destruction. Is it on purpose or just accidental? It’s time to wake up about woke sabotage.

This Week – Woke Sabotage. It’s not an Accident

This week, it’s all about fighting woke policies and ideologies. We have two guests on from two different projects of the National Center for Public Policy Research. Donna Jackson from National Center’s Project 21 to talk about the impact Biden’s economic policies are having not just on Black communities but how the policies developed in democrat-run cities are now being unleashed on the rest of America to weaken us.

And she discusses Black pastors being paid to sabotage Black communities and lead them astray.

Mentioned in the opener: Milton Friedman’s “The Social Responsibility of Business”

Then we talk with first-time guest Ethan Peck about woke impacts in corporations. We talk about his experiences as the Free Enterprise Project attempted to present shareholder resolutions to block woke corporate policies. You won’t believe what happened when he was the only shareholder at the annual shareholder meeting of a woke corporation. And we talk Twitter as the prime example of woke corporations getting a pass from blatantly illegal acts simply because they’re woke. And we talk about how woke CEOs have fallen into a huge trap with their knee-jerk reactions to a post Roe v Wade world. Could they be an accessory to a crime?

The EPA Ruling: How Now Green Cash Cow?

Show Summary: The West Virginia vs EPA ruling will have long-lasting impacts and could undo much of the fourth branch of government—the administrative state. We talk with meteorologist and actual scientist, Chuck Wiese on where all the global warming has gone this year and the momentous EPA ruling and its impact on the green energy movement. Which has failed so badly in other countries that places like the U.K. have reversed course. Or at least swerved a little. This Week – The EPA Ruling

Lost in the shrieking and wailing over the loss of Roe v Wade, the Supreme Court’s EPA ruling will have a long-lasting impact on the administrative branch’s power grab.

For decades, there has been a fourth branch of government, which has become the real rulers of America. Congress has done nothing to rein it in, other than to complain about it. The EPA ruling makes it clear: agencies cannot grab power that Congress did not give it.

If you’re looking for more info on the Take Action Tour, Crisis at the Border, July 15th & 16th, head to TakeActionTour.eventbrite.com

The dirty truth about the Fourth Branch is that Congress is okay with it. Why? Because if some agency makes the rules, then Congress (and individual congressmen and senators) can’t be blamed. Because they didn’t do it. Gosh. It was those sneaky bureaucrats.

Let’s face it. The average member of Congress and the Senate are far, far more concerned about getting reelected. And the Fourth Branch, the administrative state, doing the dirty work gives them political cover. Legislators can go in, ask a few talking-point questions they hope will make the news, and then go off for drinks and parties.

Well, the EPA ruling puts the wheels of reform in motion. If Congress chooses to retake its power.

Want to learn more about the origins of the administrative state and how we got here? Check out this previous show with Jonathan Emord: Restore the Constitution: Eliminate the Administrative State.

We know. Depending on Congress to do the right thing seems pretty hopeless. But there is good news.

Why the EPA Ruling Matters

The Fatal Policy Flaw - Terrific video on what Global Warmists aren't telling you
Check out this terrific video on what Global Warmists aren’t telling you

The good news is the EPA ruling means we don’t need Congress. Because they’re lazy and they can get to their parties a whole lot faster if they don’t have to do anything. Or read bills. Just let the bureaucrats handle the important stuff.

Well, with the EPA ruling, it means we don’t need Congress to rein in the administrative state. Remember, to get this ruling, congress didn’t do anything. It wasn’t congress challenging the administrative state, it was West Virginia. They’d sued over coal power plants the EPA wanted to kill using power it had seized under the Clean Air Act. Congress had nothing to do with this win.

So the good news is, we the people don’t need Congress. If the administrative state steps out of line and tries to grab power, individuals can stop them in their tracks.

Chuck Wiese on the EPA Ruling

This week, meteorologist and actual scientist, Chuck Wiese, is back on the show to dissect the ruling and talk about the long-term impacts this is likely to have. Not just on the EPA but the power grab by all these other agencies. Like the CDC, FDA, and more.

We also talk about Global Warming, which is more religion than science and which has become the gateway drug for Leftist indoctrination in our schools.

And speaking of “global warming” — where is it? We’ve had a cold and wet spring and summer. Aren’t we supposed to be under water by now with all that global warming? What happened. Tune in to hear what’s happening.

12-26 Fourth of July – George Washington and the Incredible Hand of Providence

Show Summary: It’s that time of year again: it’s our annual Fourth of July celebration. This year, we are looking back at the Guy, George Washington who got us through the war. Let’s face it. If we hadn’t won the war, the Declaration would have been just an interesting but failed experiment; a side note in history. This week, it’s a fascinating look at a man who was truly born for his time, and had the eternal Hand of Providence on him so many times that his life and what he accomplished was truly a miracle.

This Week – Our 12th Annual Fourth of July Show

How has it been 12 years already? Time flies when you’re keeping an eye on big government I guess, but every year we focus on the Fourth of July and events around it that make the founding of this great country so unique and special.

Previously, we’ve focused on such things as celebrating the Fourth down through History, what those early celebrations looked like. The Declaration of Independence itself, the rights and grievances listed therein. Celebrating the Fourth on the Oregon Trail, the Fourth of July during the Civil War, the first 50 years, major anniversaries, and others. And last year’s focus on the some of the signers of the Declaration (and its predecessor petition).

Looking for something fun and unique to do this Fourth? Celebrate an old fashioned Independence Day at the Newell House at historic Champoeg Park, the birthplace of Oregon. This free event includes a patriotic program with music, food, and a home-baked pie contest and auction.

George Washington

But for this year’s Fourth of July show, we are focusing on the guy. George Washington. The guy who won the war and without whom America might never have existed. Except for a brief, failed attempt at freedom. Squashed by a ruthless king.

We look at his early years, his rural upbringing that often left him feeling inadequate in high society, his involvement in the French and Indian War—which made him a celebrity on both sides of the Atlantic—and the continual Hand of Providence on his life that saved him time and again.

And, naturally, we look at his Revolutionary War accomplishments. His defeats and his victories. And how he persevered through both. We look at his personal struggles too, including getting through the deep betrayal of Benedict Arnold, which Washington blamed himself for and nearly quit.

Tune in to hear about America’s quintessential hero. The man for his time. And a man even King George III came to admire.

When Government Gets it Wrong, It Turns Abusive

Show Summary: This week, it’s all about abusive Big Government. Getting around it through ballot initiatives—the fight to get Real School Choice on the ballot in spite of Big Government that doesn’t want to give up its power. Plus the incredibly ugly and un-American targeting of political opposition for destruction. It’s not a Conspiracy: The Government Hates You

When’s the last time you felt you could fully trust government?

And knowing what we know now about government, the abuse of power for political reasons (and the accompanying financial reasons — using government to send billions to their political allies), we can  never fully trust government again until there is a serious come-to-Jesus reckoning.

This week, we talk about two abuses of government: getting around an abusive government that wants to prevent parents from getting a better education for their kids. And an abusive government that seeks to silence any and all dissent.

King George III would be proud.

Real School Choice Ballot Initiative: Round 2

Marc Thielman is leading the charge to get Real School Choice on the ballot in Oregon. Last time, the secretary of state used some mental hurdles to claim it was dealing with two constitutional issues and denied the initiative.

So they split it in two.

Before we talk about the initiatives, Marc looks back at the primary and his run for the republican nomination for Oregon’s governor—and the betrayal of a fellow candidate.

And then we look at the two initiatives, how they differ, and how they will impact kids and parents if they pass. And, of course, we look at how an abusive government will fight to keep control. Yes, that’s right. The government thinks it knows better how to raise your kids and what they need than you do.

Help Real School Choice get past the first hurdle! Sign the initiatives. Head to EducationFreedomforOregon.com

The Ultimate Example of Abusive Government: Political Prisoners

The prisoners taken into custody after the January 6th protests are living proof of what happens when people are presumed guilty and are locked away into oblivion.

We welcome back NY Times bestselling author and attorney, Scott McEwen, to talk about the incredible abuse. By our own government against fellow Americans.

We literally treated al Qaeda terrorists better than the democrats are treating American citizens. Solitary confinement. Months of it. Physically assaulted. And then denied medical treatment. Even denied medication. Denied access to religious leaders. And even denied access to their own lawyers.

The Documentary: The Truth about January 6th

Jake Lang went to the US Capitol Building January 6th to protest an election. Protest. The exact same thing the Left had done the entire summer and fall of 2020. The exact same thing the Left did the day Donald Trump was inaugurated.

Watch The Truth about January 6th documentary narrated by Jake Lang, one of the political prisoners

On January 6th, the day of the “insurrection” four U.S. citizens were killed. At the brutal hands of capitol police who beat defenseless Americans while they were on the ground.

Where’s the outrage?

There isn’t any. Because they disagreed politically with those who stole the election. And in communist countries (which is how the political Left sees themselves—communist revolutionaries), you’re not allowed to speak against the opposition.

Remember: These aren’t people who were there to overthrow the government. They were there to defend the Constitution. And what they saw as the abuse of government to steal an election. This wasn’t an “insurrection.” This was an attempt to stop the political theft of the country.

We talk with Scott about the legal side of things. But also the reality of dealing with an abusive government. And what needs to be done. By those on the inside.

This Week – It’s the Government, Stupid

“It’s the economy, stupid.”

That was the sign Bill Clinton had in the Oval Office. It was a reminder that what really mattered to people was a strong, growing economy, With jobs and opportunities, lower prices and a chance to live the American dream.

Now, with Biden residing in the office, it’s more like “It’s the government stupid.” Because instead of focusing on growing the economy, it’s all about growing government. At all cost.

But as with all government-run economies, we are quickly lurching toward a crash when the big government types will have a reckoning. Government-dominated economies never work.

You are living in the transition stages of a switch from capitalism to socialism. High food prices. High energy prices. Exploding inflation. High crime. And effort to remove guns from law-abiding citizens. This is what the entry to socialism looks like. And to see how it ends up, look at Venezuela.

Jonathan Williams: Troubling Economic Indicators

It’s always a pleasure to have our friend, Jonathan Williams, back on the show. Jonathan is  the Chief Economist and Executive Vice President for Policy at the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC).

This week, we walk through the attempted coup of our economy, troubling economic indicators that warn of impending slowdown and potential stagflation. These aren’t some distant economic indicators. These are deeply worrying economic indicators here and now. Like in the housing market.

Be sure to check out the American Legislative Exchange Council and their yearly publication, Rich States, Poor States.

And we talk about some of ALEC’s other programs. Like their  Education Task Force. Which has helped other states enact school choice. Can Oregon get it on the ballot? And get a win? (We’ll have Marc Thielman on next week to discuss the latest ballot initiative for school choice.)

And we talk with him about Oregon’s Republican candidate for governor, Christine Drazan, and what she ought to be focusing on in her economic platform.

Primary or a Planned Election? | The Algorithms Oregon Fears

Show Summary: For an election that Oregon swears was fair and honest, there are a lot of questions. And not just this election but previous ones as well. Don Power joins us again to pick up where we had to leave off last week.  This week, he describes what he personally saw happen in the elections quagmire that is Clackamas County. Then we interview Dr. Douglas Frank, who discovered the algorithms used to steal the 2020 election. Could this be why Oregon is fighting SO hard to keep a database from the public? Could it be that simple?

This Week – Algorithms and Unvoting

This week, we are continuing to look at election integrity issues, an “over flow” from last week with Don Powers who covers this week what he ran out of time for last week: the continuing fiasco of Clackamas County elections and personally witnessing the “unvoting” of candidates by elections officials.

Then we interview Dr Douglas Frank who discovered the algorithm they used to manipulate the election. As if that wasn’t important enough, we find out just why this is crucial to the lawsuit in Washington County that we discussed last week. This could blow everything wide open. And it would certainly explain why the County and State are fighting SO hard to keep that database out of the public’s hands.
