Did you catch that article on the Drudge Report earlier this week about how Donald Trump’s son in law, Jared Kushner, used a tremendous amount of data mining and social media analysis and lean-startup business principles to win the election—throwing out the old model of campaigning, which Hillary used. So much for that whole not having a ground game bit.

We are in a new era. So many of the NeverTrump people I spoke to thought he’d lose because the Never Trumpers  looked at things through the old way of thinking. Didn’t have a ground game. Wasn’t spending on ads. Trust the polls.

It’s like when the telephone started taking off . People’s mindset still existed around the telegraph and land stations and a host of messenger boys to relay messages. But why do that, when you can directly speak to people? And before that, why rely on the post office and the pony express that takes days for a message to get there when you can get a message there in minutes over the telegraph? Each era brings a disruptive force that makes the previous obsolete. As we go forward in the Trump administration, keep that in mind — we are in the dawn of a new era. We stand at the edge of new era, a new way how the govt operates and  business – and gets out of the way to unleash the power of business. And that’s exciting

And that brings me around to today’s topic. Technology and security is the new field of business — and the new battlefield.

Two hundred years ago, whoever controlled the waterways controlled the world. In today, some hacker 19-year-old in Brazil can without ever leaving his bedroom. ISIS. Russia. China. You name it. They can all wipe out the  equivalent of the Erie Canal. They can steal customer information, take over bank accounts. They can shut down websites or millions of lanes of traffic, steal corporate secrets, or worse, steal our national security secrets.

Now, just a few weeks ago, Obama has handed over the  controls of internet—the 21st century waterways—to foreign countries.

Fortunately, the adults have taken over. We talk with Kevin Freeman, a world-renowned expert in cybersecurity and financial terrorism. What will cybersecurity look like in the Trump Administration? Kevin should know, since he’s been advising the Trump transition team.

Resources to Protect Yourself and Family

  • Be sure to have a supply of food on hand, a minimum of two weeks would be best but you can buy a month’s worth or more of dehydrated food. See Wise Food Storage or My Patriot Supply for food options.
  • Water is hard to store so look to buy a water purification system (consider that you may not be able to boil water). You can find many options out there but a $16 LifeStraw could literally be a lifesaver
  • EMP Protection: one of the best things you can do to protect yourself against an EMP is to store drinking water, food, and other survival items (e.g., heating/cooking sources, and home-protection). Consider that it could take weeks at a minimum for vital systems to recover and probably years to fully recover.
  • Protecting your electronic devices… If you have no other options, or need something quick while you build a better option, an old microwave apparently can be used as a makeshift Faraday cage but it not as reliable as a true Faraday cage
  • A better option is to make a Faraday cage out of a metal trash can
  • EMP cover – this is a unique lined, multi-layer “envelope” that you can slip electronics into

In 2014 the White House, under President Obama, spent 22.2 billion dollars alone on climate change, helping to fund the very far left groups who support global warming and its affiliated organizations.  Just think what that much funding means to those far left groups and how it enables them to fight things such as the Pebble Mine.  It also means our own government endorsed and paid for lawsuits and other protests to stop economic development.

Listeners of I Spy will remember Pebble Mine was the mine near Bristol Bay in Alaska, an area that the environmentalists treasure.  Pebble Mine has over $500 billion of gold and copper just waiting to be dug up. And it’s also the mine that the EPA preemptively moved to deny even before they’d applied for a permit.

In their ensuing lawsuit, Pebble Mine executives found that there was collusion between the EPA and environmental groups in clear violation of the Federal Advisory Committee Act.  This act mandates that the federal government is to get feedback on a project from all sides of the aisle.  But the EPA was not getting information and feedback from all sides of the aisle; instead, they were colluding with the environmental left, manipulating public meeting laws and so much more.  Pebble Mine executives were able to prove the collusion due to e-mails that had been passed back and forth between EPA staff and the environmental groups who were lining up by the dozens to get their share of the money to help stop the Pebble Mine work.

So we check in with John Shivley, Chairman of the Board of Pebble Partnership, to get updated on where the project stands and their more hopeful outlook given how the election turned out.  We also discuss what changes he would like to see to happen at the EPA and what reforms would benefit this development as well as future developments.

Then we talk with Dr. Tim Ball, our go-to expert on climate change nonsense and who is also very familiar with the inner workings of the EPA.  We’ll ask him what he foresees might be some changing roles of the EPA in a Trump administration.  We look at some of the policies that need to be pulled out of the EPA and those that need to be added in to make the EPA a commonsense agency.  Is it even possible? We’ll also get his take on new policies and operational changes that are needed to end some of the nonsense that is coming out of the current administration.

Just imagine the difference! After eight years of a far-left lawless Obama administration who did not follow their own rules but also never held government officials responsible (Lois Lerner still has faced any punishment), can we look for a Trump administration to do the opposite and finally hold officials accountable?  Join us this week as we take a look down the road.

Trump wins!

Wow. Here on I Spy we predicted a win, but you just never know until it happens. But what a relief. America has been spared four years (or, more likely, eight years) of ongoing Clinton scandal, of watching our country and government be put up for sale to the highest bidder, of Wall Street’s corrupting influence, and even Hillary’s foreign donors feeling like they had a seat at the table.

Instead, it is Donald Trump. President-elect Donald Trump.

If you’ve listened to I Spy Radio, you know we go after high-level guests. That takes a long time to schedule because they are in high demand. As such, we were scheduled to take this week off because of the unknown results of the election and we’re running a best of this week.

Sit back and enjoy. It isn’t the Fourth of July. But it sure feels like it. (And don’t miss the very prescient closing remarks!)

And then join us next week as we turn from our series of shows that exposed the dangers of what a Hillary administration would look like and turn to what a Donald Trump presidency will look like.

Single-payer, universal health care.  It’s been Hillary’s dream for decades and now she is on the verge of fulfilling her dream to make America slaves again. Because Obamacare is not just about health insurance. That’s just how you pay for health care. The reality of Obamacare is how it gives the government permission to control nearly every aspect of your life. Because when you give the government control over your health, it’s an open door.

This belief of total government control stands in stark contrast to Trump’s wish of repealing and replacing. It’s about freedom vs. Hillary’s all-intrusive “health care.”

Obamacare Slavery

Exactly how would that affect us?  We talk with Lisa Lettenmaier, who clues us in how Oregonians are already feeling the intrusion of big government. For those who are in CCOs (Coordinated Care Organizations) here in Oregon, in-home inspections are occurring where medical staff go to the home to make suggestions on “lifestyle changes.”

This is the crux of what we’re facing: what happens if there is a single payer system combined with an all-too-powerful government? It is the proverbial “slippery slope.” In just a few years, we could literally be opening the door to government intrusions as voluntary assessments become mandatory. And government bureaucrats will be making decisions for you. Think about that. What if they determine you’re mentally unfit because you’re an “intolerant Christian” and find guns in your home?  What if they determine you shouldn’t be parenting because of your faith’s “biases”?  If the expansion of government is bad now what can happen if Obamacare becomes a single payer system under a Hillary presidency?

Our guest, Lisa Lettenmaier, truly opens the door to expose what is going on in the health care world, and gives us insights into why insurance costs are escalating and what we can be looking at if Obamacare expands even further.  So many promises of savings and better care have never materialized. This week we take a look at Obamacare and, in the last of our series of shows to compare Hillary and Trump, we compare their two very different health care plans.

When we were first cutting our teeth on the I Spy Radio Show, we were introduced to what was happening in the Klamath Basin and the effort to pull out four perfectly functioning hydroelectric dams but more importantly, it revealed how environmental activists worked.  Such as, they used public meetings laws but it turned out their meetings were not at all public—at least not anyone’s normal definition of it.  In fact, people who wanted to attend the “public meeting” had to sign non-disclosure agreements and agree to the end results of the meeting, before the meeting even happened.  Talk about a rigged deal. After multiple shows on the matter, including a whistleblower on how they manipulated their “scientific claims,” the effort to remove the dams died in Congress, which should have been the end of it.

But now we find out that it’s actually very much alive and efforts are in the works with two new deals having been put into place, which again happened out of the public eye. Attorney Lawrence Kogan (koganlawgroup.com) walks us through the latest updates of how the environmental activists believe they have found the go around to take out the dams without bothering to get consent from a Congress that has already said no.  And it’s not just Oregon that is being slammed with this new effort, because the activists are going to use the very same method being used in Oregon to take out dams in Washington and Idaho.  Even worse:  if Hillary gets into office and can weaponize any of these agencies for her open-border, globalist government, we haven’t seen anything yet.

You would think that if Obamacare is such a great program, the economy should be humming along—no tinkering needed.  But just like Obamacare was going to make health care more affordable (who’s got the swamp land for sale on this one?) Wikileaks has exposed Hillary’s beliefs that by expanding programs like Food Stamps it will help “fix the economy” because it will give families more money to spend. Yes, she actually said this—to a bunch of bankers behind closed doors. Hillary’s tax plan and economic plan reveals an overwhelming foundational philosophy to tax, tax, tax. If Obamacare is an example of an economic policy and expansion of government programs that has increased taxation (as the Supreme Court termed it), Hillary’s economic policies will be even bigger and more expensive.

If you think your health care is already getting to be extremely expensive, just wait until you open your tax bill a year after Hillary is in office. And you won’t even escape it by dying because she wants to slap a 65% death (penalty) tax, which will destroy family-owned businesses and farms.

But you may not have heard about any of this—the Wikileaks or dire consequences of Hillary’s tax plans. In fact, Fox News reported that on Thursday evening news coverage for ABC, CBS, and NBC , 8 minutes per station was spent on Trump scandals with only 20 seconds spent on covering WikiLeaks (with one station not carrying it all), a scandal which has an actual document trail; tens of thousands of documents.  They’re not reporting the truth; they are reporting their agenda.

This week we turn away from the scandals and focus on policy—actions over words.   I Spy will talk with Jonathan Williams from ALEC who has just completed a report on the unfunded pension liabilities faced by every state.  We discuss the ticking time bomb, especially in Oregon, over the massive pay back states have with no money to pay it back. Consider this: in just two years the total amount of states unfunded liabilities has grown more than 900 Billion Dollars.  Almost a trillion dollars on top of what was owed in just two short years. And then consider what the MSM’s focus has been on, Trump’s alleged scandals.

This week, we compare Hillary’s and Trump’s tax and economic plans and even how their plans can impact the looming pile of debt at the state levels.  Be sure to tune in to hear some solutions and find out how one candidate’s plan just may give us a chance to dig our way out of this monstrous hole.

Suddenly, after Trump begins to surge and recent bombings (that Hillary didn’t think should be called bombings) Hillary now is calling for better immigrant vetting.  Naturally, she did not say that immigrant vetting needs to focus on immigrants from Islamic countries but how realistic can vetting be while she still wants borders kept open and easy to cross and with no calls for fewer immigrants or refugees.

Maybe she wants to immigrant vetting from those ever-dangerous Scandanavian countries. You know, to keep the Vikings out.

But it’s typical of progressives like Hillary Clinton. They pretend that they can close their eyes and ears and wish it all better. Like, if you don’t call it a bombing (doing so would be irresponsible) then it really isn’t a bombing. This kind of world, that the progressives like to create, that makes the rest of us feel as if we’re living in Alice’s Wonderland, where up is down and down is up.

So, this week we wanted to take a closer look at what would it take to have an actual immigrant vetting system that could weed out those who want to do America harm.

To start we go to San Diego and welcome back border security expert Jeff Schwilk, who reveals what the federal government is now doing to save sanctuary cities.  Tune in to hear the newest turn of a phrase and progressive repackaging with the introduction of “Welcoming Cities”.  He discusses how they’re being brought into communities under the citizen’s radar and trying to put them in place without a vote taking place.

Then we talk with Kamal Saleem, and what he feels the U.S. must do to vet refugees that are coming into our country.  He walks us through what a real immigrant vetting process would entail. And it is very exciting to hear what a real program would look like, why it can be effective, and why the FBI are missing the recent jihadists in our mists—even when people have called them to say we think this guy is radicalized.

This week: We welcome back two great guests who focus on the actions—and, ironically, her words—that are now catching up with Hillary as her poll numbers go down while Trump’s are on the rise.  Last weekend began with Bill’s comment about “those coal people” followed by Hillary’s “basket of deplorables” flub, and then finished with Hillary clearly having a health “episode” that was so bad that even the mainstream media couldn’t longer ignore it. Meanwhile, Trump appears to solidifying policy positions that the media is struggling to poke holes into, other than their usual “it’s Republican so it has to be bad” spin.

We talk Brendan Kirby, Senior Political Reporter for Laura Ingraham’s LifeZette, about his thoughts on Hillary’s recent flubs and how it’s impacting her race against Trump. It was not a good week for the Hillary. Bill kicked things off with his “Coal people” comment, Hillary followed up with her “basket of deplorables” comment, and then literally collapsed on Sunday. Talk about a metaphor for her campaign.

While Hillary falls, Trump hasn’t been standing still with all of his policy speeches.  We take a look at his newest policy regarding child and senior care proposal and if it has merit—especially when compared to Hillary’s proposal.  And think Maine is insignificant?  We take a look at why a small corner in this small Northeastern State could end up winning the election for Trump.

Then we talk with Burgess Owens, who played for the NFL New York Jets before winning the Super Bowl with the Oakland Raiders in 1980. Burgess is a real leader in the Black community who is trying to wake up and shake up people to the long-term damage liberal Democrat policies have caused. The author of Liberalism: Or How to Turn Good Men into Whiners, Weenies and Wimps, we get his take on what it was like to turn on football games and see players take a knee during the national anthem.  We’ll get his take on the culture of the NFL and the real motives behind why they’re doing it, as well as what it will do to their teams.  Burgess discusses the divisiveness that President Obama’s presidency has brought to race relations.  And don’t miss Burgess’s thoughts on the dialogue that Trump is opening up throughout his campaign and what it’s impact will be for the future.

As a continuation of our look into Hillary’s actions versus her words, we found this week that the amount of stories on her were so overwhelming it was almost difficult to track all of her continuing scandals and new problems.

One of the more impressive about-faces, so typical of lifetime politician, was her “new” position on TPP.  For someone who had helped craft the draconian legislation she suddenly turns about face and is now against its implementation.  This is only after Trump put the media spotlight on the job bleed off that would take place if it were ever implemented.  Her words were very hollow.

Hillary Clinton’s Reckless Immigration Policies

The same occurs with her words on immigration.  Compared to her words in 2003 on immigration, she was more of an immigration hawk than Ted Cruz to where she is today it’s the US doesn’t need borders.  Her flip flops on this issue have been so bad that in 2015 the NY Post to wrote this “The question isn’t whether she believed what she said before, or even whether she believes what she’s saying now. It’s whether she really believes anything at all.” (Hillary Clinton’s flip-flops on immigration)

Hillary-FBISo, on this week’s show we do a compare and contrast of Hillary’s actions versus her words.  To kick off the show Mark Anderson will walk you through Hillary’s immigration plans  and how they compare to Trump’s.  Then we talk with Scott McEwen, and delve into the recent e-mails that disclose so much of Hillary’s actions.  We even talk about the rumored hit squad and the 50 deaths of Hillary’s inner circle of who at one time were close to her.
