This Week – Unconstitutional usually = Lies

It’s amazing how many times when the government lies, it’s because what its doing is unconstitutional. It lied about the “constitutionality” of Roe v Wade, leading to a generation of ill-informed Leftists believing it was constitutional. Which, because of that lie, lead to others. The lie that it was just a “clump of cells.” The lie that a unborn baby didn’t feel pain. It wasn’t human.

Amazing how many lies were spun to keep the big lie going. And that’s just one example. But did you ever notice that when the government is acting unconstitutional, it involves lies?

We discuss how America has fallen — and how we do we get it back? Would the Founders recognize the chaos of today? After all, they fought off their own tyranny. Although that was the King, an ocean away; not right here in the halls of our own government.

Why has America Lost Its Way?

We also talk with him about how our rapid material success as a country was not equaled by a similar and equal rapid progress in spiritual or social progress. This is very much a spiritual war we are going through, not just one of laws and regulations and elections.

And why aren’t the checks and balances—so carefully crafted by our Founding Fathers—not working right now?

We also talk corruption and abuse of power rather than institutional or constitutional failure, are the chief causes of decline in America today, and what you can do to help fix this.

Cancel culture is a fairly new weapon, most often employed by the political Left, to attack and destroy their opponents. In part, because their own political ideology doesn’t hold up under genuine scrutiny so the best attack is to destroy your opposition.

Cancel culture most often targets shows or public figures to get them removed from the public domain. Removed. Destroyed so only the Left’s viewpoints are allowed to be heard. They also target businesses who are themselves conservatives, or who dare to support or advertise on conservative shows.

God forbid there’s another viewpoint than the Left’s.

It is the opposite of freedom. Because rather than just changing the channel the Left wants to remove what they consider “wrong think”. Imagine being so threatened by people thinking. To the point you have to destroy people who don’t think like you.

A Cancel Culture Target: Rob Taylor

Fellow radio host, Rob Taylor, whose show airs on one of the stations that also airs I Spy Radio, has ticked off the Left to the point that they want him removed. You see, differing opinions are just not allowed. Which is an odd thing for Coos County Oregon, which is one of the more conservatives areas in the state.

The Biggest Cancel Culture Target of All: President Trump

It’s no secret that, to the Left, the mere mention of “President Trump” is like splashing holy water on a vampire. The Left has made every attempt to destroy and remove him from society.

We saw it even before he was President Trump. The Deep State worked in coordination to provide backup to Hillary Clinton’s false claim that Trump was “colluding with the Russians.” Thanks to John Brennan, the then-head of the CIA, we know this to be true. He was in the White House briefing James Comey, then-head of the FBI, President Obama, and Vice President Biden. They all knew it was a lie. But three days after that meeting, James Comey opened operation Crossfire Hurricane.

Why is this important? Because it shows the depth the Deep State and the political left will go to mislead, smear, dehumanize, and destroy their political opponents. Donald Trump stood in their way of bleeding taxpayers for billions even trillions of dollars.

Scott McEwen: January 6 was not an Insurrection

We welcome back fan favorite, bestselling author Scott McEwen, to discuss what happened a year ago on January 6 at the Capital. We talk about the obvious (which means democrats are ignoring it) reason it wasn’t an insurrection.

Remember: Just because a democrat calls it an insurrection, doesn’t make it one.

And that’s true for so much else about this cancel culture we’re in. Just because democrats say it, doesn’t make it so. It’s not build back better, it’s funding for democrats. Donald Trump and his supporters aren’t “anti-American”, terrorists, or white supremacists, or any of a thousand other names and insults. The vaccines aren’t safe and effective. And 2020 wasn’t a secure election.

In fact, judging from January 6, a good rule of thumb is that if a democrat says it, the opposite is likely true.

The Administrative State

As one of America’s top constitution lawyers for the last 35 years, Jonathan Emord has seen, up close and personally, the purposeful destruction of America’s founding principles of liberty and freedom from government. The Constitution outlines the boundaries of the government. But the authoritarians have been undermining it for well over two centuries.

Our previous shows with Jonathan focused on the rise of socialism in America. Including the Southern democrats’ use of socialism/Marxist ideology to defend slavery. And we looked at the beginnings of the administrative state under FDR.

This week, we dig a little deeper into the administrative state, which is the “Bizzaro World” version of our Constitutional Republic. And how do we untangle it? The answer may be simpler than you think.

Which rule of law wins? The administrative state? Or the Constitution? Because right now, we’re seeing this play out with the covid-19 vaccine mandates and passports.

Defending Faith is Defending Freedom

That’s because the two cannot coexist. Marxism and socialism will not share space with and cannot tolerate faith in anything other than government.

Donna Jackson from Project 21 joins us as we look at a SCOTUS case where coach Joseph Kennedy was fired for kneeling alone for a moment of prayer after football games and the chilling effect this could have on public officials. But is it time to go on the offense? Clearly, sitting back, staying on the sidelines, and letting things happen has not worked because the professional agitators (paid for with your tax dollars no less), have seized control of the ball. This Week: How many times have you watched that scary movie where somebody hears a noise, and as the stairs creak, they head downstairs in the dark while you scream at them, “Are you crazy?! Turn on the light!” Or think, “There’s no way I’d do that without a gun!”

That pretty much sums up how Oregon’s legislature, and many blue states, are treating its citizens. Because asking citizens to keep guns locked up, or not allowing law enforcement to do its job, feels like you’re living unprotected in that creaking and dark house.

With the good guys maybe not arriving in time.

Defend yourself? Good luck with that

On this week’s show, we take a look at how a society breaks down, and tyranny becomes the rule of law. The stressors our police face become not only worrisome but dangerous as they drop their shields and find another way of life. It’s happening right now in real time with hundreds of cops fleeing the large cities they were trying to protect — only to be denied the tools, or political support, they needed to get the job done.

And at a time when police are hamstrung, in Oregon politicians are making it harder for people to protect themselves in the absence of law enforcement. New, tyrannical gun laws have been passed force law-abiding citizens to lock guns up all in name of “making you safer.” Hint: locking up guns makes criminals safer.

The Obama Gang: New Book Points to Obama Sabotage

First up, we talk with retired Seattle police officer and author of five books, Steve Pomper. Mr. Pomper is author of the recently released, The Obama Gang.

We discuss his work as an officer and why he chose to leave the Seattle police. And what he feels will happen as police forces continue to shrink in size and authority.

You’ll also hear how Barack Obama (through his post-presidency foundation), assembled, launched, and wages the new assault on American law enforcement. If it sounds like sabotage, it’s because it is.

In Oregon, we lock up our businesses. And our guns.

Then Oregon’s own, Rob Taylor, joins us talking about what has happened to our 2^nd Amendment rights during this year’s Oregon’s legislature, and why. First, we find out the devastating affects Governor Kate’s lock down orders have already had on small towns. And what will the new round of lock downs have? And just where are the leaders who should be defending their citizens?

Did Oregon Republicans Sell Out on Gun Rights?

A new bill, SB554, passed that requires ALL guns to be locked up. The bill makes criminals of everyday Oregonians who want their guns at the ready should an actual criminal decide their house looks ripe for the plucking. Guess who in that scenario does not have their gun locked up?

While Republicans (and Democrats) have successfully used walking out in the past to deny quorum over important bills, for some reason, the Republicans stayed and allowed SB554 to pass. They didn’t vote for it, but they didn’t stop it. What gives?

Could it be that Oregon Republican legislators were “bought off”…? Oregon voters may not be too happy to hear what happened and why. And one Senator in particular may bear the brunt of it.

Take Action! End the Covid “Emergency”

As mentioned during the show, a joint resolution, HJR18, is a simple sentence that reads, “Be It Resolved by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Oregon: Pursuant to ORS 401.204, the state of emergency declared by the Governor in Executive Order 20-03 on March 8, 2020, relating to the COVID-19 outbreak in Oregon, is terminated.” Short. Simple. To the point.

HJR 18 is currently in the House Committee on Rules. We urge you to copy and past the email addresses below, and ask they bring it to the floor. Be polite and respectful. But be strong. it can be as simple as “Please support HJR 18 and bring it to the floor.” It’s time to end the endless emergency orders.

This Week: How do we put a value on achieving life’s goals? Do we assess an achievement by personal satisfaction? By how we’ve helped others? Or does the value of achieving a life’s goal go deeper? What if the cost is you won’t give up, no matter what?
