Jerome Corsi: Impeachment and New Ukraine Revelations

Dr. Jerome Corsi successfully fought back against the Mueller probe by refusing to cooperate. The FBI had tried to get him to sign a “confession” that would have suborned perjury—just to get Trump. Yes. Our own Department of Justice wanted to break the law to try to convict Trump, who didn’t break the law.

But Corsi took a stand and said no. Now he’s fighting back and updates us on the status of his counter-suit against the FBI.

Burgess Owens: Retaking a Congressional Seat

This Week:  Reparations. A topic that isn’t on most people’s top-ten list of things America needs to do. But it’s a grievance issue. And the Democrats and their presidential candidates are pushing it into the spotlight, so we’re addressing it. But it’s also an issue that shocked people when told, if there is a forced payment, who should pay.

Democrats and their Reparations: Imposed Guilt

Reflection is what you see in the mirror. Projection is when the self-absorbed see themselves in others. The Democrats are obsessed with race. They think everyone else is too. And they think everyone else therefore must be a racist. Because when you see race in everything—you’re the racist.

And it is those far-left Democrats who piously sit in front of their microphones, sneering and condescending to those who didn’t agree with them—the almighty gifters of gifting freebies.

For decades these same Democrats believed that the gold dust shaken from their magic wand of government hand-outs saved the Black community from certain demise.  That if it wasn’t for the generous Democrats who slammed their fists and screeched “Racist!” into their mics to anyone who voted no to welfare handouts that these same poor Blacks would just curl up and die. (Do you see who’s the racist here…?)

Let’s be clear. Democrats owned slaves. Not one Republican owned slaves. None. So why do Democrats think everyone, including non-slave-owning Republicans should pay reparations? And ever since they lost the Civil War, Democrats have been trying to run Blacks’ lives. It’s an arrogant assumption. And a racist one. Arrogant and racist because Democrats assume Blacks can’t succeed without them.

But the Democrats’ arrogance didn’t go unnoticed as many in the Black community learned to grow from the dark days of slavery and replace that life with a life of excelling. Embracing freedom, they created families, strong communities, and a belief that if you worked hard and earned your own way it would break those chains of mental and physical slavery for themselves and the next generation.

As these men and women broke out of their chains and put the past behind them, the Far Left delved into techniques of Socialism and Marxism. The Left discovered that to gain and maintain power and control over others was by keeping the powerless dependent on them and their government giveaways.

Burgess Owens: Throw off the Chains of the Democrats

It’s these two dichotomies of thought that we see clashing on our Congressional floors fighting from opposite sides of the room.  Freedom vs. dependence.

Enter Burgess Owens, who through his testimony stood up to those who wanted to keep him and other Blacks dependent, needy, and powerless.

Burgess, a long-time guest of I Spy Radio, has been all over the news this week. He made headlines when he shocked Congressmen by saying that it’s the Democrats who should pay reparations to the Black community. Okay, so things didn’t go quite as well as we would have liked to see in Oregon politics. Knute, kept shooting himself in the foot as the Republican candidate, who seemed to not like Republicans. His opponent was not a well–liked Democrat candidate—and had Knute not attacked Republicans and their policies he may have a had a chance. But we’ll get into that next week. For this show we’re going to focus on the positive of what did happen Tuesday.

Hidden Victories in Oregon’s Midterm Elections

There was a little-discussed win in Oregon’s midterm elections, victories which happened in eight Oregon counties. Eight. Wins that were led by Rob Taylor, who saw eight counties pass ordinances to protect our 2nd Amendment rights as these counties voted to become “Gun Rights Sanctuary Counties.” Rob will explain how they used, of all things, the Constitution and the 10th Amendment. (What a novel idea.) Don’t miss out on hearing about some good news and where these activists will be going next to keep fighting for our 2nd Amendment rights.

Scott McEwen on the Midterms

Then we welcome back to our show Scott McEwen, who co-authored the huge hit, American Sniper. Of course, there’s never a show with Scott that we don’t talk about what’s going on in the world of politics. So naturally, we get his thoughts on the national midterms, Oregon’s midterm elections, and on the firing of Jeff Sessions.

Scott is also back to talk about his amazing new book City of Death: Humanitarian Warriors in the Battle of Mosul that he co-authored with Ephraim Mattos. Little has been discussed about the efforts our soldiers have made to fight back ISIS. Author and US Navy Seal, Ephraim Mattos not only fought against ISIS alongside his fellow soldiers, but after he left the SEALs he flew back to Iraq to join a small group of volunteer humanitarians known as the Free Burma Rangers. With Veterans Day upon us this is a great book to read that will give you a look inside the work of these humanitarians and the courage and sacrifice they’ve witnessed and endured.

We start with Scott’s background, how he learned about the field of persuasion and his training in it. Then we get some understanding persuasion: how it works, why it works, and the barriers to it. Like how people will take entrenched mental positions and things like cognitive dissonance—where people take positions or actions that are contrary to their stated beliefs. Think: “Never Trumpers”

Speaking of Trump, we look at Trump as an example of masterful persuasion.  Have you ever wondered how President Trump manages to survive the constant media assaults that would sink any other politician? And not only survive but thrive? It’s all in the persuasion.

How many times, since June of 2015, have the Never Trumpers thought “Ah ha! This is the gaff that will finally take him out!” Only to find in the next day’s reporting that his popularity has increased.  Is Trump a magician? Maybe. But his magic wand is persuasion.

We’ll also look at how the Democrats are setting their hair on fire every time Trump does something — even when that something is good for America. Is this an example at examples of bad persuasion? Could the Democrats’ persuasion actually work?

This Week:  We are in a constant state of war. If you heard last week’s show with a former jihadist, you know there are many forces trying to destroy it from within and without.  It’s a constant barrage against our way of life and the belief of our inalienable rights to freedom. The freedom given to us by our maker and reflected in our 1st and 2nd Amendments.

When it comes to threats to our country, we think of military threats. Countries building up their militaries and nuclear powers.

But there are also hidden threats. Hidden right in our midst.

The Depths of the Deep State

For decades, we’ve had the invisible and sinister attempts to destroy our freedoms by people working within our government agencies to form the Deep State, who go undetected as they dig deeply into our systems with loyalty to themselves and to the government, not the people.  The Deep State will lash out and oppose anyone who wants to deprive the government of power or anyone who wants to return power to citizens.

Fortunately, our country has many patriots who are rooted in our Constitutional rights and work feverishly in preserving them for all Americans. This week I Spy is honored to have two of those Patriots on our show.

Jerome Corsi: Killing the Deep State

First up we are joined by Dr. Jerome Corsi author of many bestsellers including Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry and Obama Nation. Now, Dr. Corsi has a new book out Killing the Deep State: A Fight to Save President Trump.

Then we’re joined by 1st and 2nd Amendment advocate, and rock star, Ted Nugent.  We talk to him about Oregon’s new gun control laws as he calls out to voters to show up for the governor’s election to turn this state red.  Ted Nugent adds the energy and commitment as he discusses why we can win back our gun rights while reversing draconian legislation approved by far-left Kate Brown.  And in doing so we have a chance to make this state red — and get us into the black.

This week: We replay our two previous interviews with the two leading Oregon governor candidates on the Republican side: businessman Sam Carpenter and former Navy pilot, Capt. Greg Wooldridge.

Last weekend Republicans gathered at the annual Dorchester event to do a little meet and greet and to plot the end of civilization.  (Or at least that’s what the Democrats think goes on there.) Over the last decade, Oregon has been faced with a Democrat stranglehold on the legislature and governor’s office.  As a result, we’re now staring down the double-barrel of high deficits and a Democrat-led march toward higher taxes.

First of all, if you believe The Oregonian, the choice for Oregon governor candidates comes down to one person. Oregon is destined (or “doomed”) for another four years of Kate Brown—and more Democrat spending.

Well, maybe two people: Kate Brown and Knute Buehler. A Democrat and a democrat-lite.

But are we doomed to go down that road?

No. Thankfully, this year’s Oregon governor candidates include two solid, conservative Republicans. Republican Oregon governor candidates who could actually win not just the Oregon Republican candidacy but win in November too.

On this week’s show, we replay our previous interviews with the two best Republican candidates who could challenge—and beat—Kate Brown.

With the May primary fast approaching, tune in to hear our previous two interviews with Sam Carpenter and Capt. Greg Wooldridge back-to-back. This weekend’s show will help you compare the two Oregon governor candidates who, we at I Spy Radio believe, are the best candidates in the race.

Either of these two men would be great leaders. And either of these two men would lead Oregon out of the self-digging pit that Oregon has put itself in—if we can’t unseat the Democrats.

Both men are conservatives. Both are strong leaders. And both are turnaround specialists. Sam has helped over 500 companies in Oregon return to profitability. He is the author of a widely respected book, Work the system: The Simple Mechanics of Making More and Working Less. Captain Greg Wooldridge was a three-time commander of the Blue Angels and went on to turn around a failing Naval base to make it the top naval base in the world. Like being a CEO of company with 8,000 employees.

In conclusion, let’s say that again: EITHER of these two men will be great for Oregon. They are the kind of leader Oregon desperately needs and one of them will stop us from sinking into a California-style black hole.

The Oregon Primary Secret

Are you a conservative? Did you leave the Republican Party? That’s too bad because when you leave the party, then you can’t vote in the Republican primary. Right? But wait! There is a way you can vote in the primary for the Oregon Governor’s race.

Because here’s a little secret. You can plug your nose and rejoin the Oregon Republican party just long enough to vote in the primary to get a good conservative through the primary. Here’s how:

You have until April 24th to change your registration. Simply visit your county office or go to the Oregon Secretary of State’s website and change your party affiliation. You’ll get a Republican ballot for the primary, vote for your candidate, and then after the primary, May 15th, change your registration back to non-affiliate, independent or whatever.

Or. Consider staying in the Republican party. They need good people like you. And if you’re not in it, you don’t have a voice.
