In case you missed it — those Essene calendar terms:

The Essenes believed there is a total of 7,000 years of human history, mirroring the 7 days of creation. Six days of work and one day of rest. Six thousand years, followed by 1,000 years of the Messiah’s millennial reign on Earth.

  • Ages – the 7,000 years are divided into four ages. Three 2,000 ages + one 1,000 year age.
  • Onah – each age is further divided into four 500 year periods
  • Each onah is divided into ten 50-year “jubilee cycles,” comprised of seven schmitas and one jubilee
    • Schmita — a seven year sabbatical period
    • Jubilee – a one year period capping off the seven sevens and restarting the cycle
    • 7 × 7  schmitas (49 years) + 1 jubilee = 50 years
  • Year – the Essenes used a 364-day calendar, with the start of the year on the Wednesday on or near the spring equinox, adding a “leap week” when necessary to bring it back to alignment.
  • Season – Four seasons, just like our reckoning
  • Month –in the Essene calendar, there are 12 months but each month has 30 days. 12 × 30 = 360 days
  • Tekufah – a transition day between each season. 4 tekufahs + 360 = 364 days per year
  • Day – a 24-hour period like ours, but marked at sundown until the next sundown. Why nighttime and not sunrise? Because when God created the Earth, it started in darkness.

In case you hadn’t noticed fixing the world is difficult and rather complicated. When you look at Iran and why we went in there it seems to me that if you can stop an abuser you should.

Except the problem sometimes is that the abused don’t want to be helped. They have to want to stop it.

For somebody to be free from an abuser, the desire for that freedom has to come from them. They have to want it. And it gets really complicated when you’re trying to change somebody else’s society and culture. The desire for freedom has to come from the people living in that society.

But just because they want it, doesn’t mean they could do it. Which is why the first thing that abusive governments do is to make sure that people who do want freedom don’t have the means to do it. They take away guns. They take away freedoms—especially freedom of speech.

And that’s very worrisome when you look at what’s happening in most of Europe right now. There is a genuine effort to silence people who dare to question the government. And it’s especially troubling because so many of America’s foundational rights and concepts of those rights originated in England. America would not exist with the freedoms it enshrined, had England not led the way.

Now England is jailing people for things they put on Facebook. Dare to speak out and your government will jail you. Not an armed rebellion. Not actual terrorist attacks. Your opinion. Your opinion can land you in jail. And if you’re not allowed to have an opinion and not allowed to express that opinion, then you really don’t have any freedom at all.

But imagine living in a place like Iran where it’s even worse. Your opinions—speak against the prophet or Allah or refuse the dress code — can and has gotten people killed. And if you’re a woman? It’s far worse than just being killed.

But what is happening right now in Iran can have generational consequences. If it’s done correctly. No endless wars. No imposition of our culture on theirs. That would be just as abusive in its own way. But right now, they have the desire for freedom and the best way to help them pursue that is to get the abuser out of the house. Be there to help if the Iranians want it and do what you can to make sure another abuser doesn’t walk right in the door.

But it’s not going to be easy. It will be difficult. And it will get complicated. But in the end, freedom is worth fighting and dying for.

But there’s also something else here at play that not enough people are talking about that could prove to be the real game changer for the whole of the Middle East.

And we will talk about that with our guest later in the show. But for now I’d like to welcome Brent Sadler, he’s a retired U.S. Navy captain and currently serves as a senior research fellow for naval warfare and advanced technology at the Heritage Foundation —I didn’t even know they had such a thing. He specializes in maritime security and the technologies shaping future naval forces.

(Opener) It has been a terribly busy week and not enough hours — (working behind the scenes, tryin’ to save Oregon) — while also trying to prepare for this week’s show. So I’m going to once again forgo my usual opener and get right to it.

Pastor Jackson Lah meyer is a member of the White House Faith Advisory Board, a published Author and the Lead Pastor of Sheridan Church in tulsa OK. As we head toward the 2026 midterms, his defining issue is the ‘growing fight’ for the Christian vote. Because both Republicans and now Democrats are pursuing Christian voters. And that definitely got our attention. Pastor, thanks for joining us today.

You know when it comes to faith I don’t have a lot of faith in Democrats being serious about faith. You have to show something. There has to be some kind of grounding in reality. And not only do most Democrat policies have no grounding in reality neither do their words. But they are very clever about the words they use.

They can easily trick people because too many people don’t take the time to learn about important issues, about America’s founding, — and our schools as we know, are letting us down on that regard America’s unique founding, miraculous founding really,

To get politics right, to get your political party right, you first need to get your relationship with God right.

But you also need to be involved. Don’t just complain from the sidelines. There is plenty of things to be doing if you don’t like what your party’s doing get involved become part of it.

This year, in Oregon, I think is the Republicans best chance at winning the governor’s race since the last time they won it. There are so many upsides right now. Democrats have destroyed the economy — they are chasing businesses out, the no gas tax bill will either be directly on the ballot or indirectly by pointing out in the voters pamphlets that the Democrat candidate voted for it – and then tried to get around the voters— that pesky democracy thing—by changing the date when people could vote on it.

Plus there are other tax referendums being prepared that will likely be on November ballot. IP 28 the insane far left animal rights bill will likely qualify and people will turn out to shoot that down., With the right candidate, we may even take the US Senate seat from Jeff the potato Merkley

There is a lot for Republicans to get excited about, because there is a lot to get people to go vote. With the right candidates running combined with all of the issues and problems that Oregonians are facing —because of the Democrats — they could draw enough Democrats and NAVs across the aisle to finally break the Democrats stranglehold on Oregon. I just don’t see how Oregon survives another four years of this disaster.

But it will take you to stand up. Because as we say every week, just like faith, the best information does you no good if you don’t use it. Reagan? What do you think.

We talk with Craig Rucker, co-founder and president of CFACT, who braved the 30th annual Climate Change enclave known as COP30 (Conference of the Parties). Think of it as the HOA for Global Warming. Where a bunch of Karens get together (on taxpayer-funded vacations) to complain about everyone else and whatever isn’t being done about Climate Change. Like that it’s not happening.

And if you think socialism doesn’t work, take a listen to how shoddy the whole COP30 confab was run. And some prime examples of “do as we say, not as we do” hypocrisy. Signs of what’s to come, if the Far Left wins more elections.

Shocking Election Fraud – The Case of Stefanie Lambert

You likely know about Tina Peters. The Gold Star Mom who exposed election fraud in Colorado. And because she exposed it, a far-left judge locked her up. But it’s worse. She filed a grievance with the warden — not about the warden. About the a “teacher” in the prison. This is an official reporting mechanism designed to protect prisoners from abuse.

So what did the warden do? He put Tina Peters in solitary confinement. Because that’s what authoritarians do.

But thanks to9 Peter Ticktin, her days in prison may be numbered. Tune in to hear how he thinks a presidential pardon may break her out. “But it’s a state crime not a federal crime” you say? Well, Ticktin may have the way around it.

And definitely do not miss the last segment and a half talking about Stefanie Lambert. She is an attorney who found phone chips on Dominion voting machines in Michigan. But you won’t believe how far Michigan is going to stop the Far Left’s election fraud from being exposed.

Now the Democrat governor is playing games by not signing the bill she called an “emergency.” And it’s, once again, to ignore the voice of the people to limit the time signature gatherers will have to get it on the ballot.

We talk with Ed about the rules and the strategies to get around the Democrats’ roadblocks.

Real Socialism = Real Slavery

In the second-half of the show we talk with James Hirsen about digital IDs that are already in the process of being implemented over in the UK. Worse, they are paired with central bank digital currencies (CBDCs). This gives the government the ability to quite literally track everything that you do. And it will be even more powerful by using A.I.

Prime Minister Keir Starmer has declared no one will be able to work or buy or sell or get government benefits unless they have a digital ID. For you Christians out there, yes, it sounds remarkably like the “mark of the beast” mentioned in the New Testament’s Book of Revelation.

Because the UK is pairing the digital ID with Central Bank Digital Currencies. No more cash. Which means the government can shut off your money anytime it wants to. Or prevent you from buying things. Or paying your mortgage or rent.

And in case you think that’s just conspiracy theory, remember: it already happened in Canada when the truckers had their bank accounts switched off when they protested the covid lock downs.

Once again. It’s happening now. Because people did not stand up to big government then.

This Week –Far-Left Political Violence: We’re Not at War, But We Are

In the wake of Charlie Kirk’s murder, many people are still shocked at how the Land of Free Speech got to the point where someone was murdered for his speech. Too many people had no idea just how dangerous Antifa really was. And how their further-left spinoffs are actively training their members to kill.

How did we get here?

That’s easy. The Right has been too tolerant. And too silent. Well, it’s time for the Right and Middle to rise up. And to stop being silent.

A Psychologist on the Left’s Manipulation and Violence

For people familiar with Far-Left, Marxist ideology, it is no surprise the Left lies, manipulates, and exploits society’s most vulnerable. But unlike years past, they have first isolated confused children, convinced them to hate who they really because they are “in the wrong body.” And then manipulate them to channel their hate and anger toward society and authority.

But it’s not just youth. The Left uses clever marketing and the media to confuse vulnerable seniors into thinking policies that are actually good for seniors are somehow bad for them. Which is why the largest demographic that hates Trump are American seniors. Democrats who shriek “disinformation” misinform seniors about Trump’s tariffs, no tax on social security, and more. And convince them Trump is cutting Medicare. He’s not. He’s removing people on Medicare/Medicaid and Social Security who legally should not be getting it. And by removing them, there is more money for those who deserve it.

Not Sure What to Do? Get Some Training

Tired of sitting quietly while the Left rampages? You should be. Like any abuser, silence emboldens the Far Left. There are some trainings coming up in the Willamette Valley for conservatives and Christians to learn how to engage and impact their communities. We talk with Scott Allen, the president of the Disciple Nations Alliance who will be leading the training along with Tim Throckmorton, the National Director for Church Engagement & Community Impact for the Family Research Council.

The Far-Left sees your silence about their ideology as permission. And that can and does lead to violence. We are seeing it. And we need to find ways to stop it.

Scott talks to us about the need to get engaged, to not be silent, and also discusses Marxist ideology. The violence we’re seeing now is Neo-Marxism at its worst. (Is there a good side to Marxism?) This trainings will give conservatives, Christians, church leaders, the knowledge and tools to impact their communities.

This Week – Lexington and Concord, Spies, and How Americans Became Patriots

This week it is our Annual 4th of July Show as we are once again joined by Son of the American Revolution and amateur historian, Greg Leo. Next year is the big 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence — but this year has already seen a whole bunch of 250th’s. The year 1775 was incredibly momentous and unpacking what happened during 1775 reveals why July 4th, 1776, had to happen.

On this year’s show, we focus the “arch villain,” General Thomas Gage, Revere’s famous ride, the official start of the Revolution at the battles of Lexington and Concord — and who might have leaked the details of “The Concord Expedition” to the patriots? The lessons the Colonists learned at another “Concord” before Lexington and Concord ever happened taught the patriots what they needed to know to win.

And we look at the mental shift away from British subject to American patriot.

The battles on April 19, 1775, of Lexington and Concord marked the beginning of the American Revolutionary War. But there were many critical events in 1775 that shaped shaping the America’s, leading up to the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776.

  • Thomas Gage was appointed Royal Governor of Massachusetts in 1774 and tasked by the British Parliament with stamping out rising unrest caused by restrictive British policies.
    • Gage inflamed tensions between the colonies and the mother country and practiced harsh enforcement of British law. He drafted the Coercive Acts, a series of laws intended to punish colonists for deeds of defiance against the King, such as the Boston Tea Party.

This Week – Scientific Evidence… for Your Faith?

Over the last several decades there have been amazing discoveries in science that point, almost conclusively, to a Creator. why don’t we hear about these? Of course the reason is science and the mainstream media are secular and in some cases outright hostile to Christianity and faith.

Finding evidence for faith and God faces challenges. Even if you’re looking. It doesn’t help that we are in a war over information. From the Biden administration’s censorship to Big Tech helping with that censorship.

And with the race toward A.I. — programmed by and fed leftwing ideology and academic papers — information will be filtered more than ever. How will it handle things like faith? Or God? Or Christianity? Given recent experiences with censorship we have an indication of where that will go.

Evidence for God: Telescopes to Microscopes

From telescopes to microscopes, new and better instruments are revealing more and stronger evidence for God. That He really is there. That He really did create the Universe. And that He really did create us. Frankly, the evidence is overwhelming.

It being near Easter, and after nearly losing his wife last Easter, Mark spoke about faith, science, and some incredible scientific evidence that points to a Creator. Heartfelt faith is wonderful. But when you add reason and intellect to faith, that is truly powerful.

Tune in to hear the impossible odds of the universe’s design that point so definitely to a Creator that even self-described atheists are conceding there must have been a Creator. And on the microscopic level, there is no way the irreducible complexity of “machines” inside our cells could have “just happened.”

This Week – Have Faith – The Good Guys Are Back in Charge

In just his first two weeks, President Trump is off to a fast start to undo the horrible last four years of America’s decline under Resident Joe Biden. And as fast as Trump is moving to erase Biden, for a lot of us, it’s not fast enough.

Did we see DEI at work with the helicopter-plane collision at Reagan Airport? We certainly know there is a shortage of FAA workers, including traffic control. But Biden prioritized not only skin color over competence, he filled thousands of DEI compliance jobs over FAA jobs.

Fortunately for America, Trump is already making changes to restore confidence and competence in America. Although America has been so burned over the last four years, with outright abuses of power, it will take a lot to restore trust in America’s government. But what about restoring America’s faith? In God?

Cheryl Chumley is a commentator, online opinion editor for The Washington Times, host of the “Bold and Blunt” podcast, and approaches the news from a Christian-conservative viewpoint. We talk about the blizzard of executive orders and some changes we are already seeing. Like illegal immigration and the border, with immediate actions being taken on this huge campaign promise. But what about those illegal-immigration co-conspirators? And those pardons?

Trump said on the campaign trail and in his inaugural address: he believes God saved him so he can save America. So far, the message has been clear. Don’t mess with a man on a mission from God. And that includes erasing the Biden error. But erasing Biden will take more than executive orders.
