Paris Attacks and Illegal Immigration – An End to Amnesty?

Pro-amnesty and pro-illegal-immigrant factions want to make the issues of borders and immigration about race or discrimination and “diversity.” But borders are about unity, not discrimination. They are an agreement about who should be here—because they want to be Americans, because they share our vision of the future. America is not great because of diversity; it is great because diverse people came with a unity of purpose.

Sadly, there is probably no policy that Washington DC has managed to mess up more than immigration. Which, considering DC’s track record, is a rather dubious accomplishment in and of itself.

In any event, the issue of immigration, which began to heat up with Donald Trump’s “build a wall and make Mexico pay for it” early in the presidential race, has now reached fever-pitch with the terrorist attacks in Paris last week.

And even after the Paris attacks, more revelations of ill-intended “immigrants” and refugees have come to light with recent revelations that Syrian “refugees” have tried to sneak across the Texas-Mexico border. And still others have been already been caught:  with falsified documents and passports — in Honduras (were they headed north for Mexico and on into the U.S.?); Muslim immigrants have been caught in Ohio with forging equipment to name a few. Are these coming to light now only because the media is suddenly paying attention to the Syrian refugees and the larger issue of illegal immigration?

We speak with William Gheen of ALIPAC (Americans for Legal Immigration Political Action Committee) about the current state of American immigration policy. ALIPAC played a prominent role in taking out Eric Cantor, one of Obama’s pro-amnesty soldiers. We’ll discuss ALIPAC’s “Cantor List” (Obama’s biggest amnesty supporters in our Congress), and what do Americans believe actually about immigration? Or illegal immigration? ALIPAC has access to actual, scientific polls about Americans’ beliefs on immigration, amnesty, and deportation. The results may surprise you. And a lot of politicians, who only seem to listen to the “news polls.”

With the recent attacks in Paris, this is no longer just who we let in but a matter of safety as well.

Air Dates: Nov 7th & 8th, 2015 | Dr. Tim Ball (Canada’s first Climatologist)

Call it global warming or climate change, it’s the ideological basis for modern-day democrats (and socialists). No skepticism. No debate. and lots (and lots!) of big government.

If you can better understand Global Warming (which is what Climate Change used to be called until the globe stopped warming), you will better understand the modern-day Democrat party. Global Warming (Climate Change) is to the political Left what Judeo-Christian beliefs are to the American system of Freedom and Liberty. All of the American founding principles find their origins in Judeo-Christian beliefs, such as “Love thy neighbor as thyself.” That leads to Freedom of Speech (if you want to speak, give your neighbor the same courtesy). It leads to Freedom of Religion (if you want to attend a church of your choice, then your neighbor deserves that same respect). And so on.

Likewise the notion of centralized control, of the sacrifice of individual rights to the collective, and the absolute hatred of dissent all stem from Climate Change (Global Warming) and are the fruit of Democrat policies. The modern-day Democrat/Socialist, not the common-sense Democrat of bygone years.

The map showing Global Warming (Climate Change) is to blame for everything.
The map showing Global Warming (Climate Change) is to blame for everything.

But Global Warming (Climate Change) has been under increased skepticism. We talk with Dr Tim Ball, who was awarded Canada’s first degree in Climatology, about the political expression of Climate Change (Global Warming) in democrats and socialists.

It’s Halloween week, where little monsters and witches run among us looking for goodies that someone else paid for.

Sounds eerily similar to politics, doesn’t it?

And there was a lot of politics on display the last two weeks. First, there was the Hillary Clinton Benghazi hearings where the only questions that didn’t get asked are the ones that should have been asked and have never yet been answered. Like, what did you do, Secretary Clinton, that night? Whom did you call? Where was the president? What time did you call him? What did he say? These and so many more have never been asked or answered.

Even after the Benghazi hearings where Hillary Clinton was caught in a lie, the mainstream media continues to prop her up
The new Iwo Jima – mainstream media raising the Clinton flag

The answers are especially meaningful to the families of those died there in Benghazi on the night of September 11, 2012. This week on I Spy Radio we talk with Michael Ingmire, the uncle of Sean Smith, the Information Technology Manager stationed in Benghazi who was killed by the terrorists. Michael gives us some more depth into Sean, his career and we ask what exactly was someone of his professional caliber doing in Benghazi of all places? We get Michael’s take on the hearings and we’ll ask him what questions they would like to have answered.

Up next, we talk with John Hawkins, the owner of Right Wing News, to help give the wake for CNBC’s “debate.” You know CNBC was horrid when even the other members of the left-leaning, main-stream media types come out and say, “Yeah, you sucked.”

We’ll get John’s insights into the debate itself, why the RNC continues to hang its own members up as targets for progressive media firing squads, and which candidates are zombies — their presidential hopes dead but they just don’t know it yet. And we’ll get his insights into the new Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan and whether this will be good for Republicans—or Democrats? Could there be another domino yet to fall?

The EPA long ago lost its watchdog status and has turned rabid environmentalist. Now, clear evidence of the EPA colluding with environmentalists and tribes is beginning to emerge—ironically, in what the EPA had hoped to turn into one of its trophy cases: the Pebble Mine.

Show 5-43 will air the weekend of Oct 24th & 25th. Join us as we expose collusion between the EPA and “environmental” organizations, the tribes, and other players.

What’s important to understand in this fight against a government agency run-amok, is that they violated the rule of law and a basic tenet of American freedoms: due process. The EPA, by applying an obscure rule that it had never used before in its four-decades’ old existence and by trying to circumvent the permit process, it was denying Pebble Partnership its due process. Just as though it had arrested someone in suspected of a crime and put them in jail without any Miranda rights, no legal counsel, and so on.

In the wake of the Umpqua Community College killings in Roseburg, Ore., there was a great deal of “politicizing” (thanks, “President” Obama) by the gun-control advocates, like Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, and the one-woman-Democrat-clown-car, Debbie Wasserman Shultz.

But unfortunately, the shouting from the political Left was often matched or exceeded by the shouting from the political Right: “they” are coming to take your guns, this is purely a mental health issue, gun-free zones don’t work (okay, that one’s correct), and so on. Both sides trot out numbers and statistics to support their argument and pretty soon most people don’t know what to think or believe and so they retreat, psychologically, into their previously held position on guns, gun safety, crime, or gun control.

Unfortunately, all this politicizing does is to divide people into entrenched positions (of either anti-gun or pro-Second-Amendment) and does nothing to solve the problem.

Are there solutions to mass shootings? We wanted to know.

Whenever there are problems, the best way to solve it is to go to the people closest to the problems. And there is no group closer to this issue than law enforcement.

Love Donald Trump or hate him, he’s drawing hugs crowds and helping to infuse genuine excitement about the Republican chances in 2016. Seven years of Obama, 94 million Americans out of work, and candidate Hillary Clinton the piñata that refills itself. Can Republicans take advantage and can a conservative Republican win in 2016?

For a conservative Republican to win, it’s going to take some strategy and understanding the process and road map to victory. We talk with Greg Leo (former Executive Director of the Oregon Republican Party) about the Republican candidates — and the key elements that could very well lead to a conservative Republican win in 2016. It’s more than just Donald Trump. We analyze the Democrats, what’s likely to happen with Hillary as well as Joe Biden.

And we take a hard look at what could kill Republicans, and conservatives, and lead to yet another moderate as the Republican presidential candidate.

Who are your favorite candidates? Let us know!

Air Dates: September 12 & 13, 2015 | Jonathan Williams & Karla Jones

Devolution is defined as “the transfer or delegation of power to a lower level, especially by central government to local or regional administration.” When it comes to the transfer of public lands here in the U.S., this means the federal government giving control of federally held public lands to the states in which those lands reside. Why is this important? Jobs.

With more than 98 million Americans continuing to be out of the workforce, the jobs resulting from a public lands transfer to states means more than ever that the federal government honor their promise to relinquish control of the public lands held in trust. At one time, Illinois and Missouri both had more than 50% of their land controlled by the federal government when they entered statehood. Now, the federal government holds only 1% and 4%, respectively. So why do they maintain control of so much public lands states west of the Rockies—on average, more than 50% of these states? Why should Illinois get to have 99% of their land and Oregon gets less than 47% of its land?

94 million Americans out of work - the U.S. economy as of September 2015 has clearly fallen off a cliff. Time for a public lands transfer to states.
US Economy off a cliff. Time for a public lands transfer to states.

We’ve talked in the past with Ken Ivory and it’s seemed a little theoretical at times: what would it be like if the states got their lands back? Now we some direct evidence of what it would look like from our neighbor to the north: Canada.

We’ll start by talking with Jonathan Williams of ALEC (American Legislative Exchange Council) about the continuing record numbers of Americans not working and the state policies that consistently work to put people to work; policies that ALEC advocates. We’ll then talk about a federal policy that needs to happen: a public lands transfer to states. Karla Jones, also with ALEC, walks us through the process. We’ll examine the roadblocks and hurdles to making this happen, astonishing examples of federal mismanagement to private land management, and then look at how this has unfolded in Canada.

Sorry, environmentalists; it wasn’t the end of the world.

Air Dates: August 29 & 30, 2015 | Suzan Ellis Jones, John Charles, Rep. Ken Ivory

With more than its share of forest fires, Oregon’s state lands scream mismanagement. Oregon’s rather infamous environmental policies only seem to kill trees, owls, and profits—and the only thing they seem to protect are politicians. But these last few weeks, the smoke from the fires are hard to ignore. It’s time to look at Oregon’s mismanagement of its lands.

We start the show by interviewing Suzan Ellis-Jones. Unlike the “environmentalists,” Suzan actually makes her home in rural Oregon — Baker County to be exact. Baker is one of several Oregon counties that have ravaged by brutal, devastating, heartbreaking forest fires — fires that could have been prevented. By the way. Have you ever noticed that environmental lobbyists just can’t be pulled away from their favorite coffee shops in downtown Portland to go fight fires? Why is that?

Perhaps it’s because they’re too busy spewing nonsense into papers like the Eugene Register-Guard about how the timber industry runs this state. What?

Elliot State Forest Map
Map: Oregon’s Elliot State Forest

To sort out that nonsense, we need a real expert, so this week we also talk with John Charles of the Cascade Policy Institute, about the recently announced intention by the State Lands’ Board to sell off the Elliot Forest. The Elliot State Forest is perhaps the epitome of mismanagement. Well, except it hasn’t caught fire—yet. We’ll also get a handle on that “board” (it’s really just three people) and how they are utterly failing in their fiduciary duty to the state. Yes, that’s right. The state is ordered to make money from those state lands — but when has a pesky law ever mattered to a career politician? That’s for the rest of us.

Speaking of which, we wrap things up with Rep. Ken Ivory (UT) about the complete inadequacy and unwillingness by the agencies to follow laws let alone their own rules. Rep. Ivory is also President of the American Lands Council and he fills us in on the environmental devastation being caused by out-of-control agencies and career bureaucrats, to whom laws do not apply.

And don’t miss the shocking developments in Montana and what the federal government ordered Montana to do. Here’s a hint: they were handing out fiddles.

Sometimes, it doesn’t even seem like we’re in America any more. Is it 2016 yet…?

The Fox News “debate” seemed to show one thing: how far the old media has fallen. The “new media” is the only media doing any real investigations. Why?

Well, that and whether you like Trump or hate Trump, it was pretty clear Fox News hates Donald Trump. So much for “fair and balanced.” But why?

Back in the 1980s and into the 1990s, news shows such as 60 Minutes and 20/20 ruled, with their top-notch investigations. But today, they and shows like them, have lost their prominence in today’s media. More and more the “mainstream” is dominated by opinion and commentary, and long gone are either analysis or investigative journalism. Instead the mainstream media is looking more like a series of tabloid features than a hallmark of investigative-journalist excellence.  Is that what the audience wants or are there other reasons that have pushed the mainstreamers into sensationalizing the news?

The New Media

the media - Megyn Kelly
Fox News’s Megyn Kelly – has the media lost its way?

We talk with John Hawkins of Right Wing News who gives us his analysis of the old media and why it has fallen prey to sensationalism.  We also discuss the betrayal of trust and the viewers’ uproar over the Fox News “debate,” and about the Trump phenomenon.

Why is it that news organizations, with millions of dollars at their disposal, are no longer doing undercover investigations like they used to? Instead, we’ve seen the rise of “citizen journalists like the Center for Medical Progress and their investigation of Planned Parenthood. Before that, it was James O’Keefe and ACORN.

The Effect of Good Investigations

Perhaps nowhere in recent memory is the impact of good journalism felt more keenly than the abortion debate, with the exposure of Planned Parenthood. We talk with Kristan Hawkins of Students for Life of America about the deep impact these Planned Parenthood investigations are having on youth, their families, and on campuses. Once again, it’s the new media that is carrying the torch. And yet the latest video was barely noticed by the mainstreamers.

There is exciting news on the front lines as Kristan Hawkins and Students for Life are engaging with today’s youth. Tune in to hear why today’s youth is, as we like to say, “The Sonogram Generation.”

Why Hillary’s Private Server was such a Glaring Security Risk

Why Hillary’s Private Server was such a Glaring Security Risk

This past weekend on I Spy Radio (Show # 5-32), we had the pleasure of interviewing James Hirsen of Headline Hollywood and Kevin Freeman, one of the world’s leading experts on economic warfare and financial terrorism. (See his site, secretweapon.org and his blog, Global Economic Warfare.) Plenty to choose from on what to write about for this Monday Morning wrap-up, no doubt the new insights on Hillary’s private email server (1) practically leaped out at both me and my ever-astute producer. So what did we learn?

Hillary’s Deleted Emails

There’s been a lot of talk—a lot of talk—about Hillary’s private email server, especially her 30,000+ deleted emails. And, sadly, all that talk has led to pretty much more talk and more discussions but almost no actions.  And by that, I mean no jail time. (Kevin’s thoughts on that very issue are ’round about the 43:50 mark).

But all that talk and suspicion focuses almost entirely on the content of Hillary’s emails—especially the deleted ones. Or on what she has or has not turned over. Yet. Or on topics like Benghazi. Or whether she was giving political favors to big Clinton Foundation donors. And while all of that is important, it turns out that the contents of Hillary’s emails may not be the most damning part of this story.

Hillary’s Private Server

At this point, pretty much everyone except Hillary condemns her use of a private email server for her official State Department business—with the possible exception of Bill. (Maybe it’s just me, but do you ever get the sense that if there was even a slim chance that throwing Hillary under the bus would make him popular, Bill would it in a heartbeat? And if there was a gorgeous young intern on the bus, he’d back it up and hit her again—”Watch me get some air, honey.” But I digress.)

Anyway. Here too, the discussion on Hillary’s private server has been missing an important point. To date, the discussion has largely focused on the fact it allowed her to circumvent the law, lack of transparency, and to some extent the lack of security. Perhaps the reason the important point is skipped over is that it gets a little technical. So let me expand on an analogy I used on the show to help illustrate this.

Before we go any further, use the player here to enjoy some Medieval mood music. You’ll see why in a moment.

Behind the Castle Walls

Bird's eye view of Windsor Castle
Windsor Castle, showing the towers and inner keep

Imagine you’re the Queen of the State Department and you want to get a message to King Obama. Okay, I admit; so far this still sounds a lot like real-life Washington but hang in here.

There you are, holed up are in the Chancellor’s Tower at Windsor and you need to get a message to the King over in Keep (that’s the inner most part of the castle). No problem. Rather than walking all that way and up and down all those, literally, stone-cold stairs, you scratch out your message, hand it to a courier who, forthwith, runs it to the King over in the Keep. The advantage here is the courier remains safely behind the castle walls at all times. There’s that moat and the towers, the armed guards and so even if someone did get behind the walls, it’s a safe bet they’d find their rears at the business end of a pike real soon.

This is what Hillary email should have looked like had she used the government server. Everything stays, as it were, behind the castle walls. But that’s not what she did.

Hillary’s Private Server: The Drunken Messenger

Hillary's messenger stopping along the way
Hillary’s email messenger stopping along the way

Back again to our analogy. Let’s say you’re Queen Hillary, safely behind the castle walls up in the Chancellor’s Tower and you need to dispatch a message to Sir William of Chappaqua in another castle a few states over. You once again scratch out your message and hand it to your messenger. Except this is where it gets very different.

The way email works is this: when you send your email, it goes out into the world but before it gets to its final destination, it’s more like the old Pony Express than something out of Star Trek. Your email doesn’t get sent through some subspace channel directly from your computer to the recipient’s computer. Instead, just like the Pony Express, the mail is handed from one server to another all along the route. Your email is handed to your local server (your ISP—Internet Server Provider) and from there to a number of other servers as it wends its way to its final destination, your recipient’s ISP and, from there, to your recipient’s computer.

To return to the analogy, Queen Hillary’s email left the safety of the castle walls and went out into the countryside—and stopped at every tavern along the way for a pint or two before staggering out the door on to the next one.  This is how Hillary sent official, confidential, and classified State Department emails.

But Wait, it Gets Worse

That tavern picture above isn’t too far from the truth. The “secret message” is just sitting, there on the table and potentially anyone can sneak a peek. Or, as the servant toddles off to the next tavern, he could get waylaid and robbed or worse. Worse you say? Worse, say I.

What’s worse is that while the messenger is either sleeping it off under the bar or staggering off to the next village, someone could not only read the message but potentially slip a bit of malicious code in message pouch. Not so much as change the message (“P.S. Bill, I want a divorce”) but code that could make it easier to get into the castles. This would be like a note to the guards that, at 12:01 a.m. on Michaelmas, open the gate.

This is malware. It gets into a computer, behind the castle walls, and makes it easier for the barbarian hackers to gain entry. As revealed on the show, as of the last year of the Bush presidency, the Chinese government had hired 100,000 full-time hackers to do nothing but try to hack into the U.S. government, major companies, financial systems, and internet infrastructure. So what do you figure are the chances one or more of those 100,000 hackers managed to hack into a “tavern” and lie in wait for a government messenger to stagger in?

But Wait, it Gets Worse Yet

Hillary's Chappaqua residence. Sort of looks like a castle, doesn't it?
Hillary’s Chappaqua residence. Sort of looks like a castle, doesn’t it?

At long last, the dutiful messenger finally staggers up to Castle Chappaqua. He salutes the guard and presents his credentials at the same time and wobbles a bit as the guard yanks them from his hand. The two blush a little as the sounds of feminine giggles waft down from one of the towers — oh, sorry. Got lost there in the moment.

What’s worse than an unguarded messenger carrying classified information going from one castle to another, stopping at every tavern along the way? What’s worse is precisely what Hillary has done. Brace yourself.

Remember that messenger carrying the message? That he kept leaving on the bar? On the bar of every tavern and dive between Windsor and Chappaqua? The message in the courier bag into which anyone who knew how could slip other messages? If all that weren’t already horrible enough, given the sensitivity of the messages, think about this:  every time Hillary emailed—er, messaged—King Obama or any other government official—even people in State Department offices just down the hall—the messenger was dispatched all went to Chappaqua. And back.

That’s right. Instead of a messenger going from Tower A to Tower B safely behind the castle walls, Hillary sent that drunken messenger all the way to Chappaqua and back, stopping again at every tavern along the way. Just to get an email  to King Obama.

Yes, the contents of those emails matter. Destroying emails is criminal enough. But what Hillary has exposed the entire government to —and all of us— is far, far worse. And she wants to be president? She ought to be in jail.

Footnotes

The discussion with Kevin about Hillary’s private email server and her deleted emails takes place in segment six but to really get the full brunt of it, you need to listen to the whole show. It puts what she’s done in context.
