Show 14-47 Summary: In 2024, Republicans won the White House, the House, and the Senate. Other states went red. And in county after county, Trump gained support. Even among practically every demographic group. But while so much of the rest of the country went red, Oregon’s elections went a deeper shade of blue—with super majorities now in the house and senate. Is Oregon destined to be California’s mini-me? Or can Republicans save Oregon from itself? And what is on the way for Oregon with democrats in charge of everything? Brace yourself.

This Week – Oregon’s Elections. What Happened?
While Oregon wasn’t part of it, the rest of the nation voted for a better economy, smaller government, secure borders, free speech, protecting farms, schools that actually teach, and city streets free of crime. Already, Trump’s nominations are causing the Deep State to panic. But he seems committed to keep his promise to downsize and even eliminate agencies.
But not Oregon. For Republicans, Oregon took a disastrous turn as Democrats won all three statewide races (Secretary of State, Treasurer, and Attorney General). And they won a super majority in the state senate and nearly certainly will win a super majority in the house.
After Oregon’s Election, Is there Any Hope Left?
If you remember your Greek mythology, curious Pandora couldn’t resist opening the box and let out sickness, death, and other miseries. That feels like what Oregon just did to itself.
After Oregon’s elections, the prospects of a Democrat super majority in both the state house and senate is a grim reality. Every item on the Democrat wish list of miseries for the state is knocking on the box lid. Demanding to be let out. Taxes and more spending for sure, along with more environmental, “green” energy, and carbon scheme mandates to drive up costs on everything.
But they also have a problem. Biden’s federal cash flow spigot will soon be turned off. No more federal money rolling into Oregon’s coffers to hide the deficit budget problems like PERS’ huge debt that’s causing school districts and county agencies to feel that debt.
So what can Republicans do? Like the only thing left in Pandora’s box, Oregon has hope. That’s what we discuss with our guest, Representative Ed Diehl (HD-17). We take a hard look at Oregon’s election and what Oregonians will be facing. And we discuss the national elections, how other states made big changes, what went right in other states, and why didn’t it go right in Oregon.
See Ed Diehl’s website, EdDiehl.com for more about Ed and news and information. Follow Ed on X (formerly Twitter), @Real_EdDiehl
We also discuss the sole remaining (as of November 21) undecided house seat—Tracy Cramer’s in HD22—from Oregon’s elections. A race that will decide whether democrats get a super majority in Oregon’s house. Also, possible election fraud, and what about Oregon’s voter rolls? And what are we likely to see out of a democrat dual super majority.
And then in a future Part II, Ed will come back—likely after the holidays—to discuss changes and new directions to turn Oregon—yes, Oregon—red.

Show 14-40 Summary: The media claim questioning the 2020 election is “The Big Lie.” You even saw it in the presidential and vice presidential debates, with the “moderators” trying to portray Trump and Vance as “election deniers.” But our elections are not as safe as they could be. What to do? Get out the vote. Like never before. Democrats usually win the ground game. This year, we need to beat the democrats at their own game.

This Week – Get the Vote Out, Beat the Cheat
We keep hearing how tight elections are this year. Oregon alone has suddenly become important with three congressional races that are now toss ups. But as we get closer to election day, many states are coming forward with some remarkable news about their voter rolls. Swing states especially went out of their way to claim the 2020 election had no problems with their elections. Except now they are suddenly finding inaccurate and messy voter rolls. Some states rolls have hundreds of thousands of ineligible voter on them. And some of those states only had margins of victory in 2020 of about 10,000.
So what do we do? Do we ignore potential election fraud? Do we sit it out because “they’re just going to cheat anyway”?
Absolutely not. We get out the vote harder than ever. You can’t fix a broken system if you hand over the government to the wrong people by sitting it out and not casting your ballot.
And on that front, Turning Point Action is leading the way. To discuss getting out the vote beyond the margin of cheating and some truly inspirational news, we welcome first-time guest Caitlin Sinclair, their official spokeswoman. Charlie Kirk’s organization is working to register voters, and get the vote out—including ballot chasing—and they have been having great success. They are organized, and they are trying to beat the democrats at their own ground game.

Caitlin discusses their approach, who’s involved, and why young adults, including Gen Z, are starting to move conservative. This is a conversation you won’t want to miss and one that you’ll walk away from feeling inspired. There is hope for this next generation!
Yes, Oregon, Election Fraud Does Exist
Then to talk to us about Oregon’s situation, we welcome back long-time guest, former senator and now Republican candidate for Oregon’s Secretary of State, Dennis Linthicum.
Like the swing states, Oregon swore illegal immigrants aren’t on its voter rolls. Except, it turns out, they are. Thanks to a combination of motor voter laws and the democrat-controlled Oregon legislature that decided to give drivers’ licenses to illegals — after Oregon voters had overwhelming said not — Oregon suddenly found over 1,300 illegals were registered to vote. Did Oregon suddenly discover those “errors” because of a pending lawsuit? Because they found them just five days after Judicial Watch sent a letter of intent to sue Oregon’s over its dirty voter rolls.
Dennis discusses Oregon’s own loopholes (yes, there are more than one) that allows illegal voters to get on the voter rolls and the surprising reason why they’re not cleaned up. It was so surprising, Mark thought Dennis was joking. Find out what’s at stake and how someone like Dennis could fix a very broken system.

14-28 Data Shows Bidenomics Suffering from Economic Dementia
Show 14-28 Summary: We’re talking economics and the rather grim picture being painted by the data—if someone actually bothers to look. You know. Like what the media used to do. Hold truth to power. While America’s economy is suffering through economic dementia under Joe Biden, there is not a lot of good news. Not even in supposedly “good” job reports — because they keep revising things down when they think no one is looking. But there are some bright spots ahead. If, and only if, we change who is in charge of our economy. So when will the media stop covering up Joe’s economic dementia?

This Week – Bidenomics: Economic Dementia
Despite the left stream media’s best cheerleading efforts, actual data about the economy is getting out. And it’s not good. Spikes in business bankruptcies. Especially small business bankruptcies. Even personal bankruptcies.
With all the business bankruptcies, and others reporting on the verge of bankruptcy, it’s no wonder that there is also a spike in store closings. If they continue at this rate,
In an America suffering from economic dementia, we need some common sense. Which is why we turn to Jonathan Williams, the Executive Vice President of Policy and the Chief Economist for ALEC. The American Legislative Exchange Council.
Economic Dementia: Did you know?
Under Bidenomics, 27% of Americans say they skip meals due to rising food costs. And 39% skip meals to make house or rent payments
It seems there is no end of bad economic indicators. (Just take a gander at the show notes below.) A spike in bankruptcies. Cruelly keeping interest rates high Thousands and thousands of store closures. Including discount stores. (How bad is Bidenomics when people can’t even afford to shop at discount stores?) And regulations weighing down businesses. And in the middle of all that Joe Biden and the democrats want to raise taxes? That’s not just economic dementia. That’s economic suicide.
The only way out is to change the people in charge. Because if the definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results, then electing the same politicians is political insanity.
Be on the lookout. Joe Biden’s economy has been terrible ever since he’s been in office. But the media has been providing propaganda cheerleading to convince you otherwise. Bt when the left-stream media stops covering for Joe’s economic dementia? That’s when you’ll know the knives are out.
Because no one wins an election when the economy is in the toilet.

Department of Interior shuts down millions of acres of Alaska to all oil, gas and mining activity (Just the News, July 8, 2024)
Biden’s Department of Interior blocked 28 million acres of federal land in Alaska from any oil or gas development or mining
Biden’s Interior also blocked a 200-mile gravel road that would have connected mining districts in West Central Alaska to a highway that runs through the middle of the state.
“While we do not forecast a recession in 2024, we do expect consumer spending growth to cool further and for overall GDP growth to slow to under 1% over the Q2 to Q3 2024 period. Thereafter, inflation should gradually normalize to the Fed’s 2-percent target in 2025 as quarterly annualized GDP growth rises toward its potential of near 2%.
So 2% GDP through the end of the year and into 2025. Yikes!

Show 14-24 Summary: This week it’s about accountability in government. Because how can you trust people who have abused their positions—or the next person to hold that office—until there has been accountability? We talk with speaker and author Gianna Miceli about the lies of Doctor Fauci and the recent 9th Circuit ruling that said the covid vaccines were not vaccines and therefore cannot be mandated. And we talk to Dennis Linthicum, about his run for Secretary of State. An office that is sorely in need of accountability. Especially since it is supposed to hold other agencies accountable. And we look at one of the key powers Oregon’s Secretary of State has: the power of the audit. Just where did all those millions of dollars K-12 schools suddenly disappear to?

This Week – Accountability in Government
Accountability in government. It sounds great. It’s needed. So why does it seem to never happen?
This week, it’s about getting back some integrity back in government and holding people accountable who have abused their positions of power. And there is no greater example of that than Dr. Fauci. Who is walking away from his long-time government job with millions in his pocket from the companies he should have been holding accountable.
We talk with speaker and author Gianna Miceli about the many lies of Doctor Fauci. As a researcher in common law, are there ways to get some accountability in government the current system doesn’t allow? And we talk about the recent ruling by the 9th Circuit that said the covid vaccines were not vaccines and therefore cannot be mandated. Is this going to open up the floodgates to more lawsuits? (How could it not?)
And then we talk with former senator, Dennis Linthicum, about his run for Secretary of State. An office that is sorely in need of accountability especially since it is supposed to hold other agencies accountable. We focus especially on one of the powers the Secretary of State’s office has the power of the audit. What has happened to all of those millions of dollars the school’s got? and why are they all suddenly short and their budgets by millions of dollars? The Newberg School District is just one example. Three months ago, the superintendent said they were some $8 million to the good. But by a May 28 budget meeting, he announced they were $4 million in the hole. And he suddenly went on a medical leave so he can’t be fired. That’s not suspicious at all.
If everyone wants accountability in government, why does it never happen?

We have Catherine Engelbrecht on from True the Vote to discuss what her organization found and how it may open the door to millions of illegals voting in the presidential election. So much for election integrity. And that’s not even the worst of it. But are there signs that even in blue states, like Oregon, people might be done with Joe Biden, his far left policies, and his lawlessness like opening the border to those 10+ millions of illegals. And we talk with Chuck Wiese about the U. S. Supreme Court declining to hear his election integrity case.

This Week – Election Integrity Loophole Allows Illegals to Vote?
A couple weeks ago, Catherine Engelbrecht of True the Vote gave an explosive interview on Tucker Carlson’s show, in which she described what her organization found: a potential loophole in election integrity laws that could allow illegal aliens to vote in federal elections. If they believe they are legal citizens.
We know, coming across the border, the Biden administration and NGO’s have been telling the illegals that they are legal citizens, because they “followed the law” by claiming amnesty. amnesty being the pet door that allows illegals to just walk right in.
Call to action: the 611 Project. Get the handbook at True the Vote
We’ve all wondered why Democrats, and especially Joe Biden, have been flooding the country with 10 to 15,000,000 and possibly more, illegal immigrants. This could certainly explain it.
Except, as Catherine explains, the legal loophole potentially allowing illegal voters to vote for president isn’t even the worst of things. Tune in to hear what else Joe Biden could do.
And then we talk with Oregon’s election integrity political activist, Chuck Wiese. Chuck is a long-time I Spy Radio guest and a fan favorite due to his scientific background and logical insights on issues.Chuck was also part of an election-integrity lawsuit, Thielman et al. vs Oregon Secretary of State, in which they sought to restore integrity and trust to Oregon’s elections. That lawsuit made it all the way to the Supreme Court, which declined to hear the case unfortunately. Tune into here why that may have been and why election integrity is not dead yet in Oregon.
We also look at Oregon’s primary that just happened. surprisingly, it was not a good night for farther-left progressives as “squad wannabes” lost their primary races to more moderate Democrats. Is this a trend? are even Democrats fed up with Joe Biden, his open borders and lawlessness, lawfare against political opponents, and Bidenomics which is killing family finances.

This Week – Government Creep
Government used to grow slowly. Incrementally. It used to be called “government creep” but now it’s growing by leaps and bounds. And it’s not Superman up there. It’s Lex Luthor in all his villainy.
Because the worst part about government creep is that it always grows for all the wrong reasons. It would be one thing if it got bigger and better about defending our Constitutional rights. But whenever government grows, it’s to find ways around the Constitution. And, of course, it’s about rewarding politicians’ and bureaucrats’ friends and allies. Who, all too often do not have America’s best interests at heart. And Americans pay the literal price. And at the price of our freedoms.
ONRI Continues the Fight
This week, we talk with Jennifer Hamaker of ONRI (Oregon Natural Resource Industries) about the continuing fights against government creep and using the excuse of the environment to do it. “Save the planet” has duped too many people into thinking environmental government creep is even remotely about the environment. Let alone saving the planet.
No. It’s about spending American tax dollars on things that will transfer enormous amounts of taxpayer dollars to leftist groups. Face it. Climate Change. Environmentalism. Global Warming. It’s all socialism. And none of it would exist without cash payments from the taxpayers.
And the Far Left will not blink when it comes to getting those billions. Hundreds of billions. Even to the point of ignoring people (so much for “democracy”) and ignoring public meeting laws. Recently, the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) announced it will ignore public outcry, forego any more public meetings, and just approve the plan for Oregon’s offshore wind farms anyway.
But it’s not over.
Remember. Oregon’s Appeals Court threw out Governor Brown’s “Climate Protection Plan” (a carbon credit scheme). Why? Because the agency pushing it, wait for it… ignored public meeting laws.
Jen updates us on what happened, what’s next, and their other fights to raise public awareness of what Oregon’s very Far Left “environmentalists” want to do, which will destroy, not save, the environment.
Don’t be silent. The wins we’ve had recently — like the cancellation of the Elliott State Research Forest — happened because people did not stay silent.
Are you a landowner? Do you have a forest you’d like to harvest? Then you need to contact ONRI. They are looking to form a class-action lawsuit to stop the Private Forest Accord. See the contact links on either ONRI.us or OregonStrongerTogether.com
Government Creep is Just Creepy
Then we talk with Representative Ed Diehl (OR-HD17), whose public records request was the basis of that Daily Caller article we mentioned a few weeks back during our show with Catherine Engelbrecht of True the Vote. We have been following the ongoing story of the Secretary of State’s scheme to monitor, track, and, yes, censor free speech about our elections. The elections division hired an A.I. company to help them hunt down whatever the democrats in charge of the elections division deem to be mis-, dis-, or mal-information. Or “MDM.”
In case you don’t know, “A.I.” is “artificial intelligence.” Because, apparently, there’s no real intelligence at the elections division. If there were, they would know this is a horrible idea.
As a state representative, Ed Diehl got access to the MDM program documents. Agencies tend to respond to legislative requests, and far better and with less stalling than requests from the public. Or from the media for that matter. Some of the documents were heavily redacted. Except it turns out they weren’t actually redacted. Whoops.
Yes, Oregon. It’s Election Free Speech Censorship
In case you haven’t already, read that Daily Caller article about Oregon’s MDM elections censorship program. It’s a great summary of what they’re trying to do. And how they’re trying to justify spying on, censoring, and threatening people for daring to exercise their free speech. (To quote Greta: “How dare you!”)
Find out more about Rep. Ed Diehl at his website, www.EdDiehl.com
We talk with Ed about what he uncovered. Don’t miss the discussion about the Twitter Files, about the government using Big Tech to censor free speech about elections. Which the A.I. flagged as “worrisome.” Weird. Big Tech and government consider stories exposing government using big tech to censor as worrisome? Oh, the irony. And hypocrisy.

This Week – The Lawless Bidens
The mainstream media might try to portray the Bidens as lovable rogues, but the Biden crime family is the opposite of Robin Hood. Robin was in it for the people and for justice. And whatever happened to the most-uttered phrase during the Trump sham impeachments: “No one is above the law”? When’s the last time you heard that?
Just imagine if Trump or his kids had done just one of the things that have already been exposed about the Bidens. That we know about.
Hunter Biden Skips His Subpoena
Hunter received a subpoena to testify to Congress about his and his father’s business dealings. And how foreigners gave millions of dollars for no apparent work product. (Where’s their work contracts, by the way?) Hunter said he would only testify if it was a public hearing. Congress replied they would welcome that — but first testify behind closed doors. That is, after all, what Don Jr. did. He testified for over 40 hours behind closed doors. But that’s not good enough for Hunter who apparently wanted to put on a performance rather than testify under oath.
Defying his subpoena, Hunter instead gave a mini press conference. Will he end up being prosecuted? Like Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro were? Or will Biden’s Sheriff of Nottingham — the DOJ — look the other way, like they have with literally every other lawless Biden crime?
We talk with Scott McEwen, the bestselling co-author of American Sniper, and a “recovering” (retired) trial attorney about Hunter’s moves, the evidence we already know about with the lawless Bidens getting bribes, the now-launched formal impeachment inquiry, and what that may look like.
What do we know so far about the lawless Bidens and their bribery schemes? You’ll hear a lot, including the confidential human source who told the FBI what he knew about the lawless Bidens’ involvement with Burisma and a $10 million bribe.
Stunning Poll Shows Rampant 2020 Voter Fraud
Did You See the Voter Fraud Poll? No. Probably not. Because the mainstream media allies of the lawless Bidens (and, let’s face it, allies of the Deep State) has claimed 2020 was the most-secure election in history. And anything that proves otherwise can’t and won’t be discussed.
On Tuesday, the Heartland Institute and Rasmussen released a damning poll that revealed rampant voter fraud. Nearly 1 in 5 mail-in voters, 17%, admitted that in 2020 they voted in a state where they are “no longer a permanent resident.”
Remember, the mainstream media and the Deep State want you to believe Joe Biden was elected fair and square, with 81 million votes. And even if they admit that there might be voter fraud, it’s tiny. And never enough to overturn an election. If 43% of ballots were mail-in ballots in 2020, that’s 66.5 million ballots. If 17% of those were fraudulently cast in states by people who didn’t live there, that’s 11.3 million votes. Joe Biden “won” by 7 million.
We talk with Scott about this stunning development. And is there an unlikely path out of this for Hunter? A highly unlikely one, but one that would turn him from villain to hero.
The Lawless Bidens: Fake Email Addresses
Then we talk with Kimberly Hermann, the general counsel for Southeastern Legal Foundation. We have her back on to discuss their on-going case to pry Joe Biden’s emails from the National Archives. Or did the mainstream media hide Joe Biden’s use of fake email addresses from you too? Yes, it’s now known that he used at least three fake email addresses. To conduct the family business? To schedule yoga classes with Hillary? We don’t know. That’s the point of the lawsuit. What was Joe Biden doing?
Did you miss our previous show with Kim, talking about their FOIA request to get the emails? You can catch Show 13-37 right here.
The Southeastern Legal Foundation, acted as John Solomon’s attorneys to file the first Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) to get the emails. And then a second when the National Archives stonewalled. And then a motion to compel. And now the Archives is trying to appear to the judge they are cooperating.
The Southeastern Legal Foundation sues the government when they trample your constitutional rights. If you are able, support Southeastern Legal! See the full list of organizations who have been part of I Spy Radio‘s journey this year and consider supporting the ones who speak to your heart.
Except they aren’t. Listen as Kim describes just how “cooperative” the National Archives is. (Yes, there’s an eye roll there.) But Southeastern Legal has a workaround.
By the way, this isn’t just a few emails. The National Archives has identified 82,000 pages of private emails sent while Joe was vice president. In the eight years, that’s 28 pages per day. What was he doing? The American people have a right to know!

Support Organizations Who Fight for You!
The following list of organizations have been part of I Spy Radio Show’s journey in 2023. We have seen them do great things on the front lines of freedom. It’s Christmas. Consider giving them a gift of support to help them continue their fight for you.
Perhaps the finest legal organization in America, doing real work to defend you against government overreach when the government steps outside the Constitution.
Oregon Natural Resource Industries (ONRI) Website | Direct link to Donation Page
Doing more to protect and defend Oregon’s natural resources, and the jobs they create, than any other other organization in Oregon. The public outcry they have managed to create this year to stop environmentalists has been nothing short of amazing. Imagine what they could do with real funding behind them!
CFACT (Committee For A Constructive Tomorrow) has been fighting for commonsense environmental issues. They do tremendous and impactful work to debunk the Global Warming religion, promote genuine stewardship of our Earth, and provide education to counter the Marxism so rampant in the “environmental” movement.
Battleground Oregon is fighting for issues important to Oregonians. Real School Choice for Oregon kids, free speech, election integrity, and more. They need help to support their legal battles and continue the fight
Education Freedom for Oregon is fighting to get real school choice in Oregon. To do that, they need to gather signatures to qualify two ballot measures for the November 2024 general election. Can’t donate? Volunteer! But they need financial help to get the word out and to go up against the education unions who are desperate to keep kids in failing schools.
Truth in Energy and Climate is fighting to expose the far left’s involvement with so-called “green energy” and the climate scam. They face off against a multi-billion-dollar marketing effort to convince a gullible public to keep funding “green” projects. Help them fight!

Proud Army Brat on Twitter: “Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro were charged with Contempt of Congress for defying the J6 subpoenas. Navarro was arrested at the Nashville Airport w handcuffs and LEG IRONS! And, Donald Trump Jr complied w Congress’ deposition request, behind closed doors, having testified for over 40 hours.”
Millennial Conservative on Twitter: “Crackhead Hunter showed up, spewed lies… Tried to play the “poor me” card!! And then bolted out of there without sitting for his deposition!!” (Includes 36-second CNN Clip)
Carmine Sabia on Twitter: “My father was not financially involved in my business.” A change to his, and The White House’s previous statements. That means daddy dearest was involved. This could be the beginning of the end of Biden 2024. Someone call Gavin Newsom.”
13-40 Can We Trust Our Elections Again? Election Solutions To Do Just That
Show 13-40 Summary: Nothing breaks trust quite like the way government does. It’s one thing when someone close to you lies. It’s quite another when government lies and then sues you if you dare question them. And this after telling you “trust us, there’s nothing to see here.” Really? So why not let people look. Trust in government is at an all-time low. (Perhaps it has something to do with threatening and jailing people who dare question them.) But elections absolutely should be something we can all trust. Including, and especially, the losing side. So why is government trying so hard to not build trust? But there are election solutions to rebuild trust. Listen to find out why a return to hand counting can rebuild trust in our elections. And help restore (a little) trust in government.

This Week – Election Solutions
Trust in government is at an all time low. Perhaps because it is now suing, fining, and/or arresting their political opponents. And threatening people who dare question them. But elections absolutely should be something we can all trust. Even the losing side. Especially the losing side. Shouldn’t they have faith that they may have lost but it was fair, open, and trustworthy?
So why is government trying so hard not to build trust? Especially trust in our elections.
But there are election solutions. And one of the biggest is also a simple one: return to hand counting.
Election Solutions that Would Restore Trust
We welcome back Marc Thielman, a former Republican candidate for Oregon’s governor, and current political activist. Marc was also the superintendent for the Alsea School District during Covid, which the State of Oregon tried desperately to close down but Marc stood firm against their mandates. During that time, Alsea saw their enrollment swell by 500%. And they also never had a case of covid be traced back to their school. Funny that.
As a political activists, Marc is currently involved with getting real school choice on the 2024 ballot and is one of the lead plaintiffs in an election integrity case against Oregon and which is currently in front of the 9th Circuit.
But this week, we’re talking about trust and election solutions. And how those two intermingle.
Return to Hand Counting Ballots
On Sunday, October 1st, I Spy Radio host, Mark Anderson, attended a hand count training with Linda Rantz, who spearheaded a real hand count in Osage County, Missouri. He was able to see first hand how hand counting not only can be done but should be done. On this week’s show, Mark walks people through the process, how efficient it is, and how this election solution has trust designed right into it. Yes, there are potentials for human error. Just like there are potentials for human-caused errors in machine counts. But this hand-counting system is designed for transparency and trust. Because it recognizes the potential problems and makes it easier for many eyes on them to prevent them.
Which is entirely different than what blue states do. Hide the errors and attack people who dare question them. States like Oregon and California. The latter of which just passed a law to block hand counting. Now, why would you do that unless you want to make it easier for the state to cheat and keep things hidden?
Hand Counting Demonstration
If you’d like to see how hand counting ballots would work and could restore trust in the elections, Marc Thielman will be co-hosting an event in Salem on Saturday, Oct 14th, from 10am to 2 pm. The cost is $13 for the spaghetti luncheon. See flyer at right for more information.
Marc will be joined by election integrity expert, Joe Oltmann, from Colorado.

Show Summary: It’s the intersection of economics and politics this week. And what happens when economics meets politics…? Pretty much the same thing when you give a loaded gun to a toddle and tie yourself to a chair. Jonathan Williams from the American Legislative Exchange Council discusses what is so wrong with this economy. (It’s the politicians.) And don’t miss Joe Rae Perkins who is trying to get one of those stupid politicians out.

This Week – When Economics meets Politics
Imagine people who have no understanding of economics (stupid politicians) making decisions about the economy based on the advice of their donors, bureaucrats with agendas, and paid lobbyists.
It’s like being tied to a chair, watching a toddler play with a loaded pistol.
This week, we welcome back Jonathan Williams, who is the Executive Vice President of Policy and Chief Economist at the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC). Jonathan has a terrific article on the Daily Caller (), in which he neatly walks through what’s wrong with the economy right now and then provides some easy solutions. If only the current White House resident would listen. To someone other than his donors, bureaucrats with agendas, and paid lobbyists.
Special bonus. Long-time I Spy Radio listeners may remember our previous shows about “market transformation.” In essence, “market transformation is a shortcut around a market. “Market transformation” allows favored, politically aligned companies to receive grants and other funding to bypass normal market barriers to entry, such as start-up costs and marketing. This is what we are seeing right now with our economy. You can see it especially with green energy. It’s not green and it’s barely energy. But it does make democrats and their political allies and ideology a lot of money.
Vote Out the Stupid
When economics meets politics, there’s just one solution. Vote the stupid out.
Because the problem with the intersection of economics and politics is that it puts the stupid people in charge. Stupid people, like Ron Wyden. Who has been in Washington DC since the 1990s. Ron is so stupid, he has an ad running right now that says no government should have control over a woman’s body. Really Ron? What about the vaccine mandates you were pushing just months ago.
He also has an ad complaining about forest fires. Thanks for noticing, Ron, now that it’s election time. But it’s been your policies that causes them to burn. Do nothing. Blame Global Warming when all that dry kindling catches fire. Demand taxpayer dollars for Global Warming and green energy. (There’s that market transformation.) Still to nothing. Rinse and repeat.
Send some money Jo Rae’s way at perkins.vote. She needs help getting her ads on radio and TV. $50 would buy an ad play on many radio stations; in some markets as many as five airings
Jo Rae is up against the money that pours into democrat politicians who promise to do those market transformations. And those donors are terrified they will lose their golden goose if Ron goes the way of the dodo.
Let’s make stupid extinct.
Bonus: if elected, Jo Rae promises not to vote for Mitch McConnell.

This Week – It’s the Elections, Stupid
Bill Clinton famously had a sign on the Oval office wall, “It’s the economy, stupid.” It served as a daily reminder that the economy is what matters most to most people. Well, who is in charge of that economy comes down to elections.
In Oregon, the far-left policies keep us entrenched in high taxes, rising housing costs, and dubious curricula in public schools to cripple the next generation, and elections that don’t bring answers to the problems. It all feels hopeless. and many have left the state going to redder pastures to find the answers in states that make sense. Lower taxes, less big government, lower public debt, or maybe none at all if you’re in South Dakota. Meanwhile, Oregon’s lawmakers look to ruin our electric grid by pulling out dams, then force electric cars on its citizens whether we like it or not. Thus dies the free market.
Mike Erickson, Candidate for Oregon’s New CD 6
Speaking of that sign in the Oval office, we’ve gone from “It’s the economy, stupid,” to “It’s a stupid economy.” Here’s a hint to voters in Oregon’s new CD 6. If you want to fix the economy, don’t elect someone who has no business experience. Oregon, and the nation, needs elected officials who have practical business experience — not someone who has spent their entire life in government. (Hint number two: Biden has no practical business experience and look how that’s worked out.)
If you want to support Mike Erickson, find out what you can do at MikeEricksonforCongress.org. (Start by sharing that with your family and friends!)
Remember the strategy we mentioned months ago: If you live in a safe district (in Oregon, that’s CD 2) or in a hopeless district (CDs 1 and 3), put your time and money and energy to promote and support candidates in districts where they have a chance to flip a seat. That’s CDs 4 (Alek Skarlatos), 5 (Lorie DeRemer), and 6 — Mike Erickson.
Mike is running against Andrea Salinas, a far-left democrat who spent her entire adult life in and around government. On her website, she says she grew up in a hard-working family where nothing was handed to them but they made it through hard work. And, like Mike, she also had a cop for a father. So why is Mike fighting for police and she’s voting to defund the police? And how did she go from “working hard” and pulling oneself up through hard work to a career fighting for government handouts paid for by other people?
So Much for Open and Honest Elections
Here’s a funny thing.
In Oregon, the Secretary of State’s job is to audit other state agencies. But for some reason, she has declared that the elections division is off limits. Why is that? Instead, she has joined a lawsuit against a voter to declare a Washington County database should be shielded from public view and scrutiny.
Imagine trying that if the IRS wanted to audit your business. No, you can’t see the numbers. Trust us. Everything’s fine. You’d be saying that from jail. But the State is refusing to hand over a database, calling it proprietary information of a private company handling Washington County’s elections.
And why is a private company handling our elections to begin with?
We talk with Chuck Wiese — a scientist, analyst, and meteorologist, who has stepped up and joined the front lines of freedom — who was there at both days of the Sippel case trial. You won’t believe what the judge did to an actual, world renowned data scientist. Well, it’s Oregon. Maybe you will.
If the judge decides against the Sippel case, it will only continue to fuel the fire and doubts about the 2020 election. The only way to put out that fire is to open up the data to prove there wasn’t any manipulation. But hiding it and then expecting people to trust the government…?
Regardless of whether or not you think the 2020 election, when it comes to elections, any election, the Golden Rule should be “Open the books.” Hiding the results behind a wall of secrecy is, well, just stupid.
