Which not only infects the federal government but like a virus has infected state and local governments, schools, and private companies. But wait, it’s worse than you thought.

This Week – Institutionalized Incompetence

The hard fact is, when it comes to institutionalized incompetence, we’ve learned to tolerate it. We’ve become used to stupid. Conditioned to accept inadequate. And, worse, to accept corruption as “that’s just the way it is.” See the brewing USAID scandal. (Something we talked about way back in 2017). 

But USAID is only the very tip of the iceberg. We are fraudulently spending billions, even trillions, on things like Climate Change. And “green” energy. The issue is not the spending. The issue is the institutionalized incompetence that authorized the spending in the first place. That is what needs to change. And, thankfully, President Trump is starting to do that.

We’ll come back around to the incompetence behind USAID when more is known about it. But here’s something to think about. The real incompetence here is the Republicans in Congress. USAID fraud and funding leftwing ideology and pet projects of politicians has been happening for decades. Did the Republicans not know about it? And why did they keep voting for it? Either way, that is sheer incompetence. Again. Thank God for President Trump.

Institutionalized Incompetence – Two Examples

First up, we talk with long-time guest, Lisa Lettenmaier. Usually, we talk with Lisa about some new stupidity in the health care system. (Now there’s a whole ‘nother stream of institutionalized incompetence.) But this week, we talk to her about her letter to Oregon’s Employment Department, the media, and state  and federal legislators about the infuriating problems two of her friends experienced trying to get unemployment. Weeks of runaround, endless hours on hold, no answers, and no help.

Don’t forget, this is an insurance they paid into. That we all pay into. But when you need it most? And this is the “fixed’ system that took the people in charge of updating the computers and software. But it is still broken. As we said, society has become used to stupid.

But, the good news is, some institutionalized incompetence is being fixed. On his first day in office, as promised, President Trump signed executive orders ending DEI. That’s divRemove featured imageersity, equity, and inclusion. Or institutionalized racism. We talk with Donna Jackson about how incredibly important ending DEI is to the Black community. You know. One of the communities it is supposed to help. Tune in to hear how it not only is not helping, it is sabotaging the Black community and Black school children.

Gosh. It’s almost like democrats want a permanent minority underclass. Otherwise known as slaves. Democrats haven’t changed since they lost the Civil War.

This Week – Have Faith – The Good Guys Are Back in Charge

In just his first two weeks, President Trump is off to a fast start to undo the horrible last four years of America’s decline under Resident Joe Biden. And as fast as Trump is moving to erase Biden, for a lot of us, it’s not fast enough.

Did we see DEI at work with the helicopter-plane collision at Reagan Airport? We certainly know there is a shortage of FAA workers, including traffic control. But Biden prioritized not only skin color over competence, he filled thousands of DEI compliance jobs over FAA jobs.

Fortunately for America, Trump is already making changes to restore confidence and competence in America. Although America has been so burned over the last four years, with outright abuses of power, it will take a lot to restore trust in America’s government. But what about restoring America’s faith? In God?

Cheryl Chumley is a commentator, online opinion editor for The Washington Times, host of the “Bold and Blunt” podcast, and approaches the news from a Christian-conservative viewpoint. Trump said on the campaign trail and in his inaugural address: he believes God saved him so he can save America. So far, the message has been clear. Don’t mess with a man on a mission from God. And that includes erasing the Biden error. But erasing Biden will take more than executive orders.

This Week – Competence at Stake in the 2024 Election

We continue to look at why elections matter, reminding you that you are giving someone else legal control over you, your business, your church, and so many other facets of your life. Do you want competent people? Or stupid people who will waste your money? In the 2024 election, make it your goal to stop stupid people from doing stupid things.

We look at the incompetence (stupidity) of Multnomah’s lawsuit against the weather. The lawsuit is a waste of government money (your money), time, and resources. Worse — even if they win, it will cost you even more money.

We talk with meteorologist and fearsome global warming debunker, Chuck Wiese about Multnomah’s lawsuit against “fossil fuel”companies, blaming them for “heat dome” deaths during a hot summer. But no, sorry global warmers, it was not the hottest ever.

Stupid Government does Stupid Stuff

But first up, we talk with Chuck about the back-to-back hurricanes, Helene and Milton, that hit the Southeast. Is that unusual? And how did Chuck correctly predict that Milton would weaken from a category 5 and hit landfall at only a category 3, and further weaken to a category 1 when it made it to the Atlantic?

Then we talk about Multnomah County suing the sky. Or the weather. Or who they think causes the weather. According to KOIN, Multnomah is seeking $50 million in damages, $1.5 billion in “future damages” and another $50 billion for an “abatement fund.” In other words, a slush fund to hand out to far-left groups.

Here’s how stupid that is. There are 364,000 households in Multnomah County. If the “evil fossil fuel companies” lose and allot that $51.55 billion loss to Multnomah households (because why should they punish Polk or Marion or any other county for this nuisance lawsuit?) over 20 years, that’s $7,081 per household added to their fuel and utility costs. Per year. You can thank Multnomah County for that self-inflicted stupidity.

But it’s not just the cost of things. Stupid people in Multnomah government are attacking people’s rights. They are also suing Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine which isn’t even in Multnomah County. Why? For spreading “misinformation” about global warming. Yes. There’s your stupid people in government suing people for free speech.

Did government forget it’s supposed to defend free speech?

Yes. Because they’re stupid. In the 2024 election, stop stupid people from doing stupid things.

Yes, Oregon, Democracy is What’s at Stake in the 2024 Election

We also look at some down ballot issues, including Oregon’s Measure 117 to force ranked choice voting on Oregon. if that wins, it would take the democracy right out of democracy.We welcome back Representative Ed Diehl (OR-HD17) back to the show to talk about an actual threat to democracy, Oregon’s ballot measure 117. (Sorry, democrats. Trump is not a threat to democracy. If Trump wins, that is democracy.) The measure would change our current voting system to ranked choice voting.

If ballot measure 117 were to pass, it change how we vote for every candidate from U.S. president down to local races. With one exception. Referred to the voters by Oregon’s far-left democrats in the legislature, Measure 117 curiously would not change how legislators are elected.

Ed Diehl walks us through how Measure 117 and ranked choice voting would take the democracy right out of democracy by opening voting itself to strategic manipulation. Apparently, the far left isn’t happy enough with voter fraud and election fraud, they have to game the system for voting fraud.

And we talk about the latest on the motor voter scandal. Gosh. They found another 300 illegally registered illegal immigrants. After we just talked about that last week with Dennis Linthicum, who is running for Secretary of State. This Week – Election Integrity Loophole Allows Illegals to Vote?

A couple weeks ago, Catherine Engelbrecht of True the Vote gave an explosive interview on Tucker Carlson’s show, in which she described what her organization found: a potential loophole in election integrity laws that could allow illegal aliens to vote in federal elections. If they believe they are legal citizens.

We know, coming across the border, the Biden administration and NGO’s have been telling the illegals that they are legal citizens, because they “followed the law” by claiming amnesty. amnesty being the pet door that allows illegals to just walk right in.

We’ve all wondered why Democrats, and especially Joe Biden, have been flooding the country with 10 to 15,000,000 and possibly more, illegal immigrants. This could certainly explain it.

Election Integrity in Oregon

And then we talk with Oregon’s election integrity political activist, Chuck Wiese. Chuck is a long-time I Spy Radio guest and a fan favorite due to his scientific background and logical insights on issues.Chuck was also part of an election-integrity lawsuit, Thielman et al. vs Oregon Secretary of State, in which they sought to restore integrity and trust to Oregon’s elections. That lawsuit made it all the way to the Supreme Court, which declined to hear the case unfortunately. Tune into here why that may have been and why election integrity is not dead yet in Oregon.

We also look at Oregon’s primary that just happened. surprisingly, it was not a good night for farther-left progressives as “squad wannabes” lost their primary races to more moderate Democrats. Is this a trend? are even Democrats fed up with Joe Biden, his open borders and lawlessness, lawfare against political opponents, and Bidenomics which is killing family finances.

We talk to Sam about three major problems that he would face from Day One of taking the reins in Oregon and start to immediately change our direction.  Sam talks to us about what we’ve termed The Punish Small Business Tax (SB 1528) that Kate already signed into law and how devastating it will be for small business.

And we talk about PERS. Especially the lack of good information to even know how much in debt we truly are, with some saying $25 billion, others say $50 billion, and still other reliable estimates that put it up to $100 and even as high as $200 billion.  Who’s right?

We also talk with Sam about the little known Internet Sales Tax that the Supreme Court heard this week. Governor Kate Brown’s Attorney General signed an Amicus Brief in support of yet another punishing blow to Oregon’s small businesses.  If it stands, it will mean that business owners in Oregon, which has no sales tax of its own (yet), will be forced to collect tax for over 12,000 taxing jurisdictions—in other states.

Liberal hypocrisy is always apparent (except to them) but no more so than in the recent Facebook scandal and the anti-gun “March for our lives” protest. Why?

Liberals and Hollywood celebrities are fleeing Facebook. And shrieking at Mark Zuckerburg as they slam the door behind them.Why? Because Facebook sold data on 87 million users to Cambridge Analytica who bought it for the  Trump campaign. Gasp!

Liberal hypocrisy. Ban everything. Ban America!You’ve probably heard elsewhere that Liberals were perfectly okay with Facebook giving Obama access to data—and the Liberals even praised Obama for being oh-so-clever. But not just 87 million users. Facebook gave away data on 190 million users.

Did you know Obama and Facebook may have actually broken a law by doing this? (Don’t hold your breath about the DOJ going after either of them.)

And then there’s guns. The Hollywood liberals—who make their millions selling movies about guns, using guns, shooting guns, and making it all look cool—took to the streets to march for gun confiscation — while surrounded by armed guards.

A State that Actually USES its Natural Resources?

About five years ago I Spy jealously watched states whose government was working for the people — especially considering the mess Oregon was in: implementing Obamacare, the CCO’s, PERS, and other devastating public costs, while ignoring an obvious source of revenue. Timber.  So, we wanted to see what other states were doing to succeed, and how they were keeping their state in the black.

We were fortunate to have our research come upon Vicky Steiner, who was at that time working in the oil industry, as North Dakota was experiencing a real economic boom.  Vicky told us about the fast-paced growth spurt they were experiencing and what the state’s leadership was doing to improve their state’s future by providing important infrastructure and designing a savings plan that tucked away millions in the state coffers should there be a downturn.

Now, five years later, we have Vicky Steiner back to update us on where they are as a state and how using their natural resources has paid off.  Due to their careful planning, North Dakota has weathered the downturn when the oil prices dropped and production slowed.  Under President Trump and the U.S. actually exporting oil, along with prices rising, Vicky discusses how they are now expanding their oil fields but have become so much more efficient in their production because they invested in new and better technologies.

Meanwhile, Oregon’s Congressional representatives are asking Ryan Zinke not to allow drilling off of Oregon’s coast.

Sigh.

A Surprise for Everyone

Not only did they use their success to develop better, more efficient production techniques, they also built partnerships with responsible environmental groups who helped to ensure oil production was friendly to their treasured land.  Something that Oregon’s vast forest, that burn or rot because they are not managed and logged, could benefit from its own legislative leadership.

Could what they have learned be a roadmap for Oregon to begin using their own natural resources?

Then we go south to San Diego and welcome border security activist and retired Master Sergeant, Jeff Schwilk.  Jeff has strong and great insights into what is currently occurring on the border.  He describes his experiences of what happens in communities near a border that brings illegal immigrants into their communities — and into their local voting booths.

Jeff discusses what he’s recently seen and some of the gaps on the border wall/fence during his tour with a border security team. Jeff tells us his thoughts on President Trump’s recent position on DACA and explains what he feels needs to happen to get to a workable final deal as he offers his ideas and what his anti-amnesty colleagues are pushing for.  These are important insights from people who live smack in the middle of the immigration issues that you won’t want to miss.

They don’t want DACA, they don’t want a “deal”, they want our country!  They are demanding that we leave our borders wide open for all their relatives to sneak in.  (see attached recent photo and new email from them below).  They have now taken over the entire Democrat party who is terrified to stand up to them.  Now they have their sights set on weak-kneed and open border Republicans, of which there are far too many, through their increasing demands and hostile actions.

They meet the very definition of foreign terrorists or insurgents on our soil.  The enemy within.  The Reconquista is real and these foreign aliens can taste it, not just in California where they have have nearly taken over state and many local governments, but now they want the whole U.S. for their “raza” and revenge against America.

No DACA, no Dream Act, no amnesty.  Enforce our Laws and Secure our Homeland first!

This Week: Illegal immigration has once again become the focus for the mainstream media.  And, as usual, rather than reporting on what’s actually happening, they are instead attempting to make President Trump look as if he’s turned his back on campaign promises.  But the real shock of it all is the President Trump wants Congress to do their job, such as come up with an answer for the DACA kids. It is shocking that President Trump has to reach out to Democrats to try to kick the Republicans into gear.

Given that Paul Ryan and the Republicans are blocking what they all said was a Republican agenda of border security, immigration reform, building the wall, tax reform, repeal and replace —it’s not the Republican agenda that needs fixed, it’s these Republicans. It’s becoming more clear by the day that there are many Congressional members who have forgotten why they were voted in.

There were two hot-button issues that were central promises Trump made during his campaign: fixing illegal immigration and getting us out of bad trade deals. We’ve seen the swamp’s alligators already fight back against Trump’s executive order on illegal immigrants, just imagine what will happen once he starts taking actions to renegotiate on trillion-dollar trade deals—which incorporate immigration policies.

We know what bad trade deals look like: the TPP. The Trans Pacific Partnership would have, among other things, done away with American sovereignty. It would have made our laws subject to a foreign court. But what would good trade deals look like?

CPA is a coalition of agriculture, manufacturing and organized labor associations, companies and individuals. CPA’s mission is to develop policies to balance U.S. trade, maintain U.S. sovereignty, and develop an effective national production and economic strategy.

But first we talk with William Gheen of ALIPAC about another of Trump’s promises: fighting for legal immigration. We found out how President Trump is doing on fulfilling his promises and what people ought to be doing to make sure he does.

President Trump, in his speech to Congress, mentioned a “merit-based immigration system,” similar to what Canada uses. Is this something the U.S. should use? Tune in to hear the merits of the merit based system and how this could be a step in the right direction to radically transform our current system, which rewards family ties over real contributions to society.
