14-39 The 2024 Election – Two Elements of What’s at Stake

Show 14-39 Summary: It’s not just the candidates running. It’s what’s at stake in this election. And we look at just two elements with huge implications. Control over federal agencies, whether those will expand or be reined in and deregulated. And all the federal land that might be at stake thanks to a potential Supreme Court ruling — if they take it up and if the next administration acts on it.

This Week – What’s at Stake

It’s never just about the candidates running. It’s what’s at stake after the election. And we look at just two elements with huge implications of those potential futures. While the economy gets most of the attention, it’s much more than that.

First, we look at control over federal agencies, and whether those will expand or be reined in and deregulated. Or even disbanded. The regulatory agencies are the leash on the economy. Will the economy be given more rope or even let run off leash? Or chained up?

You can guess which candidate wants what on that. But with the new Loper-Bright Supreme Court decision, that overturned a previous SCOTUS ruling, Congress could, if it has the backbone, rein in these overreaching agencies that prevent economic expansion. We talk with Kimberley Herman, the executive director of Southeastern Legal Foundation, about what the overturn of the Chevron deference could mean for the future of government.

What’s at Stake: 640 million acres of federal lands

Years ago, we followed the effort to allow states to take possession of the federal lands within their own borders that had been promised to them at the time of statehood. And all the federal land that might be at stake thanks to a potential Supreme Court ruling — if they take it up and if the next administration acts on it.

That is, after all, what happened with the states east of the Mississippi. None of those states have massive amounts of land in their borders still held by the federal government. But for states West of the Mississippi and in particular, West of the Rockies, states have tremendous amounts of land within their borders still held by the federal government. Oregon has 53.03% of its land that is not its land—it’s held by the federal government. and it’s also tremendously mismanaged by the federal government. Meaning they don’t. And that’s why Oregon has massive forest fires every year. When you don’t manage forests they become kindling factories.

Now, a new lawsuit by Utah is at the Supreme Court. All they need are four justices to vote to hear the case before the full court. This could have huge implications for states that have so much of their land held by the federal government which is doing nothing with it. Imagine the impact of land being brought into active production and use whether that’s agriculture, timber, mining, camping, hunting… Kind of activity that will spur the economy. not to mention create taxable wealth for the government. Rather than letting it sit there and rot and burn which only wastes taxpayers’ money.

We welcomed back long-time guest, Myron Ebell (although it’s been a long time since we last spoke), who is now the chairman of American Lands Council.

14-25 Abuse of Power | Stopping Wannabe Dictators

Show 14-25 Summary: This week it’s a deeper look at the abuse of power by our elected officials. We continue our conversation from last week with senator Dennis Linthicum, who is running for Oregon’s Secretary of State — an office that oversees other agencies and therefore needs a Secretary of State who can and will hold them accountable when they operate outside their limits. And then we also talk with Kimberly Hermann from southeastern legal foundation and their new case against the Biden administration for his overreach. He is trying to give foreign farm workers rights that American farm workers don’t have. And ignoring about 90 years of law to do so.

13-50 The Lawless Bidens | What Happened to “No One is Above the Law”?

Show 13-50 Summary: We talk with two attorneys about the lawless Bidens: Hunter skipping his Congressional subpoena, the official launch of an impeachment inquiry, and Joe Biden’s use of secret email addresses to “conduct business.” And Rasmussen uncovers evidence of rampant voter fraud in the 2020 election that installed Biden. Hey, if your deep state, trillion-dollar taxpayer theft was about to be exposed, wouldn’t you risk it all? So, what now and what next for Hunter Biden and especially what next for Joe Biden?

This Week – The Lawless Bidens

The mainstream media might try to portray the Bidens as lovable rogues, but the Biden crime family is the opposite of Robin Hood. Robin was in it for the people and for justice. But Joe Robinette Biden is in it for himself. And he has no problem robbing people and giving it to the government. Or, for that matter, using his son to enrich himself. And the Bidens are being protected by the Sheriff of Nottingham—the DOJ.

And whatever happened to the most-uttered phrase during the Trump sham impeachments: “No one is above the law”? When’s the last time you heard that?

Just imagine if Trump or his kids had done just one of the things that have already been exposed about the Bidens. That we know about.

Hunter Biden Skips His Subpoena

Hunter received a subpoena to testify to Congress about his and his father’s business dealings. And how foreigners gave millions of dollars for no apparent work product. (Where’s their work contracts, by the way?) Hunter said he would only testify if it was a public hearing. Congress replied they would welcome that — but first testify behind closed doors. That is, after all, what Don Jr. did. He testified for over 40 hours behind closed doors. But that’s not good enough for Hunter who apparently wanted to put on a performance rather than testify under oath.

Defying his subpoena, Hunter instead gave a mini press conference. Will he end up being prosecuted? Like Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro were? Or will Biden’s Sheriff of Nottingham — the DOJ — look the other way, like they have with literally every other lawless Biden crime?

We talk with Scott McEwen, the bestselling co-author of American Sniper, and a “recovering” (retired) trial attorney about Hunter’s moves, the evidence we already know about with the lawless Bidens getting bribes, the now-launched formal impeachment inquiry, and what that may look like.

What do we know so far about the lawless Bidens and their bribery schemes? You’ll hear a lot, including the confidential human source who told the FBI what he knew about the lawless Bidens’ involvement with Burisma and a $10 million bribe.

Stunning Poll Shows Rampant 2020 Voter Fraud

Did You See the Voter Fraud Poll? No. Probably not. Because the mainstream media allies of the lawless Bidens (and, let’s face it, allies of the Deep State) has claimed 2020 was the most-secure election in history. And anything that proves otherwise can’t and won’t be discussed.

On Tuesday, the Heartland Institute and Rasmussen released a damning poll that revealed rampant voter fraud. Nearly 1 in 5 mail-in voters, 17%, admitted that in 2020 they voted in a state where they are “no longer a permanent resident.”

Remember, the mainstream media and the Deep State want you to believe Joe Biden was elected fair and square, with 81 million votes. And even if they admit that there might be voter fraud, it’s tiny. And never enough to overturn an election. If 43% of ballots were mail-in ballots in 2020, that’s 66.5 million ballots. If 17% of those were fraudulently cast in states by people who didn’t live there, that’s 11.3 million votes. Joe Biden “won” by 7 million.

We talk with Scott about this stunning development. And is there an unlikely path out of this for Hunter? A highly unlikely one, but one that would turn him from villain to hero.

The Lawless Bidens: Fake Email Addresses

Then we talk with Kimberly Hermann, the general counsel for Southeastern Legal Foundation. We have her back on to discuss their on-going case to pry Joe Biden’s emails from the National Archives. Or did the mainstream media hide Joe Biden’s use of fake email addresses from you too? Yes, it’s now known that he used at least three fake email addresses. To conduct the family business? To schedule yoga classes with Hillary? We don’t know. That’s the point of the lawsuit. What was Joe Biden doing?

Did you miss our previous show with Kim, talking about their FOIA request to get the emails? You can catch Show 13-37 right here.

The Southeastern Legal Foundation, acted as John Solomon’s attorneys to file the first Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) to get the emails. And then a second when the National Archives stonewalled. And then a motion to compel. And now the Archives is trying to appear to the judge they are cooperating.

The Southeastern Legal Foundation sues the government when they trample your constitutional rights. If you are able, support Southeastern Legal! See the full list of organizations who have been part of I Spy Radio‘s journey this year and consider supporting the ones who speak to your heart.

Except they aren’t. Listen as Kim describes just how “cooperative” the National Archives is. (Yes, there’s an eye roll there.) But Southeastern Legal has a workaround.

By the way, this isn’t just a few emails. The National Archives has identified 82,000 pages of private emails sent while Joe was vice president. In the eight years, that’s 28 pages per day. What was he doing? The American people have a right to know!

13-37 Fraud, Fraud, Fraud | How Judges Often Enable It

Show 13-37 Summary: This week, it’s all about fraud. Election fraud. And the lawsuit to get Joe Biden’s emails where he used fraudulent names to conduct his “business.” Elections matter. Not only because you are giving someone else legal authority over you. But because trillions of dollars are at stake. If absolute power corrupts, how much corruption will 100 trillion buy? Could Joe Biden’s fraud emails crack open the door to his corruption business? And will the 9th Circuit finally be the first to take election fraud seriously? And when it comes to fraud, all too often it’s judges who are enabling it. It’s yet more evidence of our two-tiered justice system. Imagine if Trump was emailing his kids with government information to profit the family.

This Week – Fraud and More Fraud

It’s all about fraud this week. We usually have Chuck Wiese, a scientist and meteorologist, on to talk about the fraud of Global Warming. Which has become a multi-trillion dollar fraud scheme. But what’s another trillion to the debt when it’s among co-conspirators, right? But this week, we have him on to talk about their election integrity case, which is currently before the 9th Circuit. Why there? Because the Oregon judge didn’t have the backbone to look at it and denied it on “lack of standing.”

What a cop out.

Think about that. The Left shrieks about every single vote must be counted. But why is it when any one voter has their vote devalued through fraud, somehow that single vote no longer matters. But there’s even more to it. Weak judges claim there’s no evidence of voter fraud. How do they know when they keep denying appellates the chance to look? There may be tens of thousands of fraudulent votes. But we’ll never know because they never actually look.

For an election system that claims there is no fraud, isn’t refusing to let people look just a little telling?

Wow, check this out! Feedspot, with over 4 million users, ranked I Spy Radio among the 30 Best Conservative Talk Shows!

Joe’s Fraudulent Email Aliases

Then we talk to General Counsel, Kimberly Hermann of Southeastern Legal Foundation. Her client is John Solomon, Executive Editor, of Just the News.

After years of hearing about secretive emails between Hunter and Joe Biden, and their potential content revealing fraudulent and corrupt money schemes, Southeastern Legal sued the National Archives to release those emails. Kimberly discusses how they knew about them in the first place and what they suspect the emails reveal.

Why use aliases to conduct “business”? Didn’t Joe say he never talked with Hunter about his business dealings with foreign entities wanting to buy influence. Okay. Maybe Joe didn’t talk to him. But he sure emailed a lot. More than 5,400 of them. That are known.

And where does this trail of evidence—while Joe was VP—lead? How far up does it go? What agencies knew about it? Why does the National Archives have these in the first place? Was Joe using government computers to send emails about his fraud schemes? Is this why our billions keep going to Ukraine, to keep them quiet from revealing their own evidence?

So many questions! Tune in to get the answers!

13-06 Killing Title IX Protections in the Name of Woke | Plus Part 4: Choosing New Schools

Show 13-06 Summary: This week on I Spy we continue our mini-series on parents rights in education. We are looking at what the Biden administration’s abandonment of Title IX means (it used to mean protection and equal access for girls and women) and what real school choice looks like — when parents make the choice to find a better school. What are the options and how to decide? How to even know if it’s the school or the child? And what about funding — should taxpayer dollars really go to private schools? And is it protected from frivolous parents? Are schools accountable top meet competency and proficiency standards? Maybe if the public schools had such standards, parents wouldn’t be looking elsewhere…

This Week – So Much for Equality

If there’s one thing elected democrats say, it’s that they want equality. But if there’s one thing they do it’s remove equality. Which is why they are all for racial discrimination in the name of equality. Like affirmative action. Where, in their “logic” it makes sense to discriminate against Whites in favor of other races. Which is a bit like saying a little slavery is okay, as long as it’s done to the right kind of people.

Hint to democrats: discrimination is discrimination.

But maybe this mindset explains why the Biden administration thinks removing protections for girls and women in education is a good thing.

The Biden Administration: Killing Title IX

Title IX was intended to give girls and women an equal footing in education. Prior to Title IX, schools could discriminate against women and, perhaps most famously, not fund women’s sports. But now, the Biden administration’s new “guidance” would remove such protections. How? By doing away with the concept of women and girls. And making anyone who identifies as a woman a woman in their view.

Basically, if there are no women as a distinct entity, there are no women to protect.

To try to make sense of the nonsense, we welcome Kimberly Hermann. She is the chief legal counsel for Southeastern Legal Foundation and they have file da brief in support of states pushing back against the Biden administration’s guidance.

Visit SLFLiberty.org to find out more about the great work Southeastern Legal Foundation is doing to defend your constitutional rights. You can even submit a case they might be interested in.

Kimberly walks us through what Title IX is, what it was intended to do, and why Title IX is so important to defend. You’ll also hear how the courts, including appellate courts, are, in fact, defending the notion that there are two sexes. Which is extremely encouraging.

But can you believe this? Has society gone so far down the woke toilet that we will end up needing the Supreme Court to tell the rest of society what a woman is?

Yikes.

Parents’ Rights Part 4: Choosing a New School

This week, we also continue our mini-series on parents rights in education. Last week, we discussed the Real School Choice movement. So far, five states have already adopted real school choice. (This means parents can choose whichever school they want to send their kids and the education dollars attached to that child.) And there are nearly a dozen more close to adopting real school choice and over two dozen in total that have at least some form of legislation on the table.

This is not only a win for parents, it’s a win for education itself. And it’s thanks to exercising free market principles.

Think about it. Parents (consumers) can choose to spend the education dollars how they want and where they want. Funding students not systems, means that the school systems must become competitive to attract consumers (parents). Better up your game or you lose out.

That is what real school choice is all about. Give parents the power, not bureaucrats.

Find out more about Oregon’s real school choice battle. If parents can’t get it in the legislature, they are prepared to go with a ballot initiative

But if you’re a parent and  you exercise your school choice, how do you choose a school? How do you know it’s the school and not your child? What are the signs you should be looking for? And with the dozen-plus types of other schools out there, how do you find the right one for your child.

We talk with Marc Thielman, the former superintendent at the Alsea School district, to answer those questions and more.

12-46 Elections: An Overturned One and What Happened in 2022

Show Summary: Some post-game analysis of what happened on election night with Marc Thielman. Despite the gloomers and doomers in the Republican Party complaining the wins weren’t big enough, there was a lot of good news for Republicans in 2022’s elections. And the elections would be really good news if they were not clearly trying to insert votes into races not yet called. Does anyone remember when they said they needed the machines to speed things up? But first: Kimberly Hermann with the Southeastern Legal Foundation to discuss what they’ve learned since finally being given the court-ordered (twice!) external communications by the George Soros D.A. with those helping set up the successful attempt to remove an elected governor — despite the D.A. having none of the evidence she claimed she did.

This Week – Elections Matter

Elections do matter. But what happens when they attempt to steal one? Or they do steal them? Or, even worse, overturn an election? Like what they tried to do with President Trump.

Because you can’t trust a government if you can’t trust how they were elected.

This week, we talk with Marc Thielman—former gubernatorial candidate, now activists, consultant, and lead petitioner on real school choice—about the 2022 midterm elections. Plus, he is deeply involved in the election integrity movement.

Get involved! Head to BattlegroundOregon.org to see what you can do and to support those in the fight for fair elections

We go over the outcomes (so far), and look at the national landscape. As of this writing, it is looking like the Republicans will take the House and possibly the senate. So why are the Doomers in the Republican party moaning and blaming Trump?

Imagine winning the Superbowl by two points only to have half the team complain about the quarterback. If that’s Mitch McConnell’s and Paul Ryan’s level of teamwork, it makes you question just how hard they tried to win.

But, as we discuss, there are some good evidences that there really was a red wave. Just not the red tsunami we were hoping for. And, sadly, not here in Oregon either.

With the ongoing fraud on display for all to see in Arizona, we talk with Marc about changes that need to happen to ensure we can trust the elections again.

Elections: If you can’t Win Them, Undo Them

But before we get to Marc, we talk with Kimberly Hermann. We last talked with her in April 2022 after their big win against the corrupt George Soros Missouri D.A., Kim Gardner. John Solomon’s Just the News had filed a FOIA request for communications between Garnder and outside forces involved in her wrongful prosecution of Eric Greitens. After winning in court, after several court orders to enforce, Gardner finally handed over the ordered information two weeks ago.

In case you missed it, Eric Greitens was elected governor in 2016. He then set out to actually fulfill his campaign promises. Unheard of, right? One of those was to dismantle a “low income housing” project that was soaking the government and making a lot of people wealthy. This made people angry. And some of those angry people approached Kim Gardner with a scheme to remove the governor. And it worked.

Gardner accused Greitens of trying to blackmail a hairdresser with whom he’d had an affair, by threatening to release a nude photo of her if she talked about the affair. Greitens admitted to the affair but denied ever trying to blackmail anyone.

Eventually, Greitens gave into pressure and resigned. Except. Gardner made it all up. She had to withdraw her prosecution because she admitted she never had the photo she claimed Greitens had used for blackmail.

What a mess. But damage done. An election overturned.

Prosecutorial Misconduct

Don’t miss what the FOIA documents reveal. Mysterious payments, and confirmation that, yes, this was a clear case of prosecutorial misconduct.

By all rights, Kim Gardner should be removed from her position. And she should be prosecuted. But in today’s corrupt “justice” system, it looks like she will not be punished beyond the slap on the wrist she already got.

But. Thanks to the elections, there is a new sheriff in town (well, new state attorney general). And perhaps he will take up the case to restore trust in the system.

And let’s hope prosecuting Kim Gardner is just the start. Let’s hope elections also draw the crosshairs.

This Week – The Importance of Elections

Far, far too many people only vote for those at the top of the ticket. In part, because those are the names the recognize. Who pays attention to city councilors or district attorneys, right?

We all should. Because this week, we talk with Kimberly Hermann, the general counsel for the Southeastern Legal Foundation about the strange case of a George Soros prosecutor in Missouri, Kim Gardner. Garnder targeted and removed a duly elected governor from office.

But it turns out that the prosecutor made it up. Just like in the Russia collusion narrative concocted by democrats, there was no evidence, and Gardner lied about it. But—mission accomplished—she effectively removed the duly elected governor.

But it’s not over. Because now, Southeastern Legal Foundation, which is John Solomon’s attorney, won their case before Missouri’s Supreme Court to get public records from Gardner’s office, including all communications between state officials, individuals, groups, and even Gardner’s real boss: George Soros.

Bridget Barton for Oregon Governor

We continue our discussion on why elections matter as we welcome first-time guest, Bridget Barton, who is one of many (too many!) Republican candidates for Oregon’s governor. Bridget Barton is definitely a political outsider as a first-time candidate and clearly not the preferred pick of the ORP. Oregon Republican Party.

But what separates her from the pack? What makes her uniquely qualified to tackle Oregon’s version of “The Swamp”?

To find out more about Bridget Barton as a candidate, head to www.bridgetbartonfororegon.com

Bridget has a 30-year career of running a successful conservative business magazine, Brainstorm NW, in which they advocated for conservative solutions to Oregon’s many problems. If only Oregon had listened, maybe we wouldn’t be a national leader of how not to solve problems. Like crime, homelessness, and addiction.

Be sure to tune in to hear her solutions, which have worked when they’ve been tried, and what makes her personal story so relevant to Oregon’s problems.

Fighting the Woke | Covid Exposed More than a Nasty Disease

Show Summary: Covid has exposed the rot in the system. It was always there but now people are waking up to it. This week, we look at the woke the Left didn’t want you to see. CRT in the classroom (yes, Virginia, it was there all along). Teacher’s union promotes “White fragility” and endorses racism. Plus corporate wokeness and a new congressional scandal so bad that even AOC gets it right.

Exposing the Woke Rot

This week, we’re welcoming back two organizations out on the front lines of liberty, the Southeastern Legal Foundation and the Free Enterprise Project.

SLF recently discovered some documents the nation’s largest teachers’ union, the NEA (National Education Association) tried to hide from the public about what, exactly, they were supporting being taught in America’s classrooms. Now, why would they want to hide that? We talk with Kimberly Hermann about just what they discovered on the NEA’s website. And we talk with her about the continuing battles in the classroom. Including some legal remedies for parents who’ve been contacted by the FBI after they show up at board meetings.

See SLF’s Twitter thread about uncovering the documents  the NEA tried to hide. Sickening this is being taught to your kids.

And the Free Enterprise Project continues its fight in the shareholders meetings of America’s wokest companies. How woke? Like Visa still sponsoring the Winter Olympics in China. Despite the fact the U.S. government has boycotted the games because of China’s genocide against its own people. We talk with Justin Danhoff about exposing and fighting  the corporate wokeness and he has tools for others to get involved.

Plus, we talk about a new scandal in Congress that is so bad, it might just have you agreeing with AOC of all people. Insider trading. But did you know Congress passed a law to “stop” this, the STOCK Act? Except it doesn’t stop anything. Listen in and find out why.

Original Air Dates: Jan. 23 & 24, 2021 | Justin Danhof & Kimberly Hermann

It’s no secret that the American oligarchy of Big Business, Big Government, and Big Media hate Americans. At least the “wrong kind.”

What is the “wrong kind”? Republicans. Conservatives. And especially Trump supporters. Suddenly, politics is the new racism. And if you’re not in the correct party with the correct beliefs, you’re on the outside looking in. It’s not just an American oligarchy either. We all thought Biden was bought by China and foreign interests. And his first days in office confirmed just that as he weakened American energy independence and opened the door to more China and international influence in America.

Oligarchy is a form of power structure in which power rests with a small number of people. These people may be distinguished by nobility, wealth, education, corporate, religious, political, or military control.

American Oligarchy

Right now, the American oligarchy—the triumvirate of Big Government, Big Business (which includes Big Tech), and Big Media—seems indestructible. But like any three-legged stool, take out one leg and the oligarchy topples. And every oligarchy inevitably falls when all the little Davids use the weapons they have.

But what weapons do we have?

Legal Tools to Fight the Oligarchy

If you’re a conservative, you’re not only a “racist” but the victim of political racism. First they accuse of being a racist. Now they attack you with racist-style tactics. If you’re a republican or conservative or especially if you’re Trump supporter, they want you excluded from any level of politics. So much for diversity. They don’t want you in the building. They make broad decisions about you, claiming they know who you are and how you think, and want to exclude you just because you’re a republican or conservative or Trump supporter.

The “conservatives-only” drinking fountains are next.

But there are means to fight back against the oligarchy. Especially legal tools. Many people know about anti-discrimination HR laws like the ADA and Civil Rights Act, which prohibits hiring and firing based on race, sex, and religion. But most people don’t know that when it comes to politics, you can absolutely discriminate. Yes, the laws — passed by politicians — protect political discrimination.

Justin Danhof: The Free Enterprise Project

First up, we bring back Justin Danhof, General Counsel for the National Center for Public Policy Research. We wanted to have him back to focus the legal side of fighting back against Big Tech and Big Business.

The Free Enterprise Project is a program of the National Center for Public Policy Research. Their mandate is “to provide the liberty movement the missing ingredients for success.” Your donation will help keep them fighting for you.

We talk with Justin about what individuals can do to push back against the Big-Tech/Big-Business leg of the American oligarchy stool. Tune in to hear about individual actions you can take. And are there also class actions coming?

Kimberly Hermann: Southeastern Legal Foundation

In the land of the American Oligarchy, there are no end of legal battles to be had. And Southeastern Legal Foundation (SLF) is constantly out there fight for American rights and freedoms.

Support the Southeastern Legal Foundation. They are “dedicated to advocating limited government, protecting American freedom, and defending individual liberties”. They have taken on and won landmark constitutional U.S. Supreme Court cases. Help keep them on the front lines, fighting for you.

We talk with Kimberly about the endless executive orders, political discrimination, and the sickening and overtly racist “critical race theory” that they are fighting. SLF just joined a coalition of partners to drive critical race theory out of public offices and schools. And we get her take on the coming impeachment fight.

Does the Constitution even matter anymore?

Tune in. Learn. Fight back.
