We love it when conservatives stop sitting there and taking whatever the Left throws at them. When conservatives go on offense, it brings others to the cause. Especially when they are doing the right things for the right reasons.

Kill the Whales

Who would ever have imagined a time when conservatives fighting to save endangered whales because “environmentalists” are willing to sacrifice them on the altar of green energy? Well, when sacrificing a few hundred whales means your ideological side could get tens of billions of taxpayer dollars perhaps it’s not a surprise.

But wait, aren’t conservatives and capitalists supposed to be the greedy ones? Conservatives on offense to save whales. We love it. And they’re doing it for the right reasons. Not like the greedy environmentalists willing to sacrifice whales to get billions of taxpayer dollars. There’s the real greed.

Craig Rucker, executive director of Committee For A Constructive Tomorrow (CFACT) joins us to discuss their lawsuit against the Biden administration. CFACT had some great winds against offshore wind farms in 2023. They successfully derailed offshore wind farms in New York and New Jersey. And they’re fighting to stop the planned wind farm off of Virginia Beach. Right in the middle of whale migration paths.

Tune in to hear how the Biden administration is ignoring laws in their agenda to push wind farms. And they’re happy to sacrifice endangered whales to push billions of taxpayers into the Far Left’s pockets.

And that even has grassroots environmental groups scratching their heads. What happened to the Left’s rallying cry, “Save the whales!”?

Get Educated: On Woke Corporations and their Boardrooms

The Supreme Court recently overturned affirmative action as a gate for higher education. But what impact with that ruling have on woke corporations and their DEI initiatives? DEI being “diversity, equity, and inclusion.” DEI also being Leftist codespeak for, “exclude people who don’t share our political ideology.”

Yes, Bud Light gets the attention when it comes to “go woke, go broke.” But Disney is the true leader when it comes to going woke. Think about it. Did Bud Light ever have the pro-family, pro-America reputation that Disney once had. And Disney is now actively pushing a woke, transgender ideology at kids. Bud Light isn’t exactly pushing their products at kids.

We talk with Scott Shepard, the director of the Free Enterprise Project, which is the original and premier opponent of the woke takeover of American corporate life. Disney is back in the news as its revenues continue to crater, losing money on woke, box office flops, and bleeding Disney+ subscribers. And even at its parks, its one source of profits, attendance is down.

Could it be because they’re pushing transgender at kids even at their parks? Nah! Couldn’t be that!

We also talk with Scott about a broader view of corporations and their boardrooms. If, say, an activist shareholder wanted to take a corporate woke, could they? Just how much power do they have? Or what if a shareholder wanted to protect a pro-America company from an activist board?

You never knew corporations and free enterprise could be so interesting and entertaining.

This Week – The Mar a Lago Raid

With the Mar a Lago raid, the resident in the White House once again demonstrated he was elected through voter fraud. Simply, if you won by millions of votes, there’s no need to try to prosecute people who say you didn’t. If you won legitimately and fairly and honestly, you have nothing to fear. But you do have plenty to fear if you didn’t. And even more so if the person who says you didn’t has evidence that you didn’t.

Is that what the FBI was after when they decided to raid Mar a Lago? Trump was sitting on evidence of voter fraud? Or maybe it was evidence of the Russia collusion hoax, which proved who was involved and what they did. Or perhaps it was all a set up. The government packed his boxes with confidential materials that they could then claim Trump stole — in a scheme to stop him from running again.

Regardless, the FBI and DOJ deciding to raid Mar a Lago will go down in history as one of the most unseemly acts of any president. Even Nixon wouldn’t have done it. Think of that.

And did you catch that weird “we must punish those who oppose us” speech from Biden the other day? It looked like what would happen if Hitler and Stalin had a baby.

But all of this points to one conclusion: the FBI and DOJ are beyond redemption. And pretty much every other agency.

And THAT is the reason they raided Mar a Lago. Punish anyone who would expose and oppose the system.

The FBI Must be Dismantled

When a limb gets infected with gangrene, many times it needs to be amputated. We’re at that stage with the FBI.

We’re also at that stage with the CIA. The NSA. The SEC. And certainly with the FDA, CDC, EPA, and the Energy, Education, and a host of other departments. And let’s definitely not forget about the IRS. The infection and corruption has become so widespread within these agencies, they need to amputated or the whole body will die.

The FBI and DOJ are clinging to this notion that they can still be trusted. Sorry. That’s not how trust works. You can’t say “trust me” when you just committed untrustworthy actions.

This week, we talk with Scott Shephard who is an attorney and himself a director of a program—an “agency”—at the National Center for Public Policy Research. We get his insights from an attorney’s viewpoint and that of a director/manager about what needs to happen to the FBI. Is it time for the FBI to be disbanded? Or can they still be saved? How can you tell? And what to do if (when!) they are disbanded. Now that the emotions have died down—a little—from the Mar a Lago raid, we can dissect what happened and what to be done.

SLF recently discovered some documents the nation’s largest teachers’ union, the NEA (National Education Association) tried to hide from the public about what, exactly, they were supporting being taught in America’s classrooms. Now, why would they want to hide that? We talk with Kimberly Hermann about just what they discovered on the NEA’s website. And we talk with her about the continuing battles in the classroom. Including some legal remedies for parents who’ve been contacted by the FBI after they show up at board meetings.

This Week: Two years ago, we experienced what life is supposed to be like. During the Obama years, we had to do so by living vicariously through our history books. We dreamed about such times as the Reagan years—while living through Obama, who worked hard to shackle us to a program where government owned us called Obamacare. It was an attempt by big government to literally control our very breathing.

Because when you give the government control over your health, you give them permission to run all aspects of your life. Get it now?

But then Trump rode in swinging, to stop government overreach through the alphabet soup of EPA, DHS, and even the FBI and DOJ. Trump knew that he had to immediately start to downsize, restrict, or expose them and their reach into our lives.

Biden: Obama II

But with the disastrous 2020 elections over, along came Obama II — or at least that’s who Biden hopes to be. So sequestered from the people he is supposed to serve, it’s hard to say if he has an original thought in his head.\

Already admitting he talks to Obama “frequently,” Biden’s far-left ideology and moves toward it are enormous. But even Obama never said, as Joe just did referring to the 2nd Amendment, that “No Amendment is absolute.” Wow.

Burgess Owens: Insider Look at Congress

This week we dive into the heart of where much of the far-left ideology is attempting to move the US: an era of new racism, away from free elections, free markets, and free thinking. First up, we talk with Congressman Burgess Owens. A man who has fought tirelessly for years for the Black community to help them become inspired and free themselves from Democrat programs that hold them back.

It was something that Trump was also becoming successful at, and Blacks began to move toward a more conservative approach.We saw a huge uptick in Blacks voting for Republicans. Is that why the Left is frothing at the mouth to introduce a new era of racism? To turn all races against one another and turn everyone against Whites? That’s the Left’s new racism. We’re all united in hating Whites.

How and what are Republicans doing in Congress and what he expects to see in 2022. We ask where are the republican attempts to derail the extremist democrats? Will they pull any democrat congressmen to the republican side?

And we discuss Pelosi’s backing off of the Far Left’s court packing and why she backed off. But we start off with a recent cartoon, in a Utah newspaper owned by Huntsman’s brother, that depicts Burgess Owens as a racist.

And speaking of racism, we talk about Biden’s racist programs to fight racism — the $4 billion Biden plans, to give to minorities to pay off their farm loans. But not one penny to help White farmers.

Corporate Wokeness: Blackmail States for Politics?

Then we welcome back Scott Shepard, who happens to be an attorney, and discusses why court packing is so wrong and how it will backfire big time for the Far Left.

You may remember that Scott’s Free Enterprise Project confronts big business at shareholder meetings about their embrace of Leftist ideology. Now, big business is going even further. No longer just virtue signaling but going so far as activism—corporate wokeness—attacking states like Georgia who are trying to pass voter integrity laws and stop the cheating. Now, big business seems to want to step into the role of ruling us rather than running a business. Do they see a time that government won’t be necessary because they can just take over? And are free markets a problem in trying to hold them back, before they become too big to stop?

Covid Passports

sick until proven innocent is tyrannicalGovernors in democrat-run states like NY and Calif., and even the Biden administration are eyeing covid passports. And, just recently, the EU announced they will allow U.S. visitors if they have a valid vaccine passport.

A vaccine passport is an official confirmation that you must show you’ve had the vaccine before allowed into certain venues or on planes or other transportation. This is a huge privacy invasion but more importantly, its the slippery slope that heads us toward China’s social credit score system, which allows you access — or not — depending on your obedience to the state.

In other words, “Papers, please!” Straight out of Soviet Russia.

This Week: We know that Oregon is the Petri Dish of Leftist ideology. And in Oregon, many times we conservatives feel there’s a double standard and a double whammy of far-left ideas, policies, and actions hitting us as we watch constitutional rights not only get attacked but many times stripped. This week’s show is all about those double standards, especially when it comes to corporate and racial wokeness.

For those of us who just want America to be America so we can just live in peace and harmony, it becomes tiring to constantly have to watch and react to these never-ending reminders that if we rest, those precious rights go away. But, here we are, Oregon’s legislature once again proves the need for eternal vigilance. Especially when we look at the proposed anti-gun rights bills for 2021.  Five bills that include one giving the Oregon Health Authority oversight of gun storage under the guise of a “health initiative” to stop adolescent suicide.

This, while teenage suicide rates have increased over this past year due to covid lock downs and masks orders. As they say never: let a good crisis go to waste.

Wokeness, Corporate Style

As if that weren’t enough, even when you just want to relax and be entertained, the Left inserts their ideology into the corporations that used to entertain us. Now, they want to indoctrinate. On social justice, on race, on everything. It’s wokeness brought to the corporate world. Or forced on it. We hope. Though we suspect many wholeheartedly embrace it.

Funny how companies used to worry about the bottom line. Stockholders used to worry about the customers and if their company was providing quality service and products.  Not so much anymore where CEOs are convinced corporations are here to save humanity from itself.

Pushing Back on Corporate Wokeness

First up we talk with Scott Shepard of the Free Enterprise Project (a program of the National Center for Public Policy Research), regarding their confrontation with Disney’s CEO at a shareholder meeting. They wanted to discuss Disney’s embrace of far-left policies that counters what conservative stockholders may want.

Especially since Disney fired a conservative actress from a hit show for her tweets, while allowing similar comments from a progressive actor. Fairness and equity? How about just flat out hypocrisy. Which, of course, Disney can’t see.

Mr. Shepard talks to us about how the far-left got a foothold into corporate America and where its heading. Is America setting the legal stage for its own demise? But you can do something about it.

And don’t miss Biden’s in-your-face racist policies: cancelling farm-loan debts for minorities.

Wokeness, 2nd Amendment Style: Grab the Guns!

Then we talk to attorney Cody Wisniewski, who is with the Mountain States Legal Foundation. We talk about the bad news of Oregon’s latest attempts of eroding our 2nd Amendment rights with five new anti-gun rights bills. But we also discuss what is going right in other parts of the country. Including bills being introduced that would greatly increase gun rights and the states that agree.

Oregonians can take heart that constitutional efforts are winning, which makes it worthwhile to keep up the good fight.

Oregon’s anti-gun bills up for consideration

  • SB 554 – limits possession of firearms in public buildings, even if you have a concealed carry license
  • HB 2510 — gives the Oregon Health Authority oversight regarding safe storage of firearms, punishable by fines up to $2,000. Yes. You heard that right. A health agency thinks they should be able to tell you how to store guns in your own home and fine you if you don’t do it their way.
  • HB 3055, regarding carrying when traveling now adds commercial airlines.
  • HB 3268 prohibits possession of weapons in the Capitol — except for police or military. Penalties are five years’ imprisonment, $125,000 fine, or both.
  • HB 25 43 prohibits transfer of firearms until State Police qualify the recipient of said firearm.  Oregon Firearms Federation says this could allow the Oregon State Police to deny a firearm’s transfer forever —  with no explanation or justification.

Really? We must have very different ideas about the concept of independence.

Equity and Fairness

Actually, Joe’s approach could safely be called the far-left’s approach to governing, maybe even life. If you’d just throw down your inalienable rights, we’ll let you live. And you’ll think you’re free because we won’t mess with you as long as you do everything we tell you to. And that’s where America is heading under a Biden presidency. Follow the mandates regardless of Constitutional rights and we’ll get along just fine.

And, if you missed our show last week, with Kimberly Hermann of Southeastern Legal Foundation, you got a hint of it. Fairness and equity. This is the new focus of the political Left. The Marxists in all their forms.

Fairness and Equity: Socialized Medicine Version

Two of the big mandates, or rules, they want to push on America is socialized medicine and climate change. Both prescribe a different way of life that hands over personal freedoms and decisions in exchange for “government protections”.

Protections that allow the government to dominate every part of the American way of life. And remember: if they’re protecting it. They can also take it away.

And just wait until the vaccine mandates start coming out— determining whether or not you’ll be allowed to travel if you don’t have one, as countries gather to collectively agree do so mimicking a one world order.

Nadra Enzi: Leftists choose Ideology over All Else

So this week, we pick apart that agenda and how it’s trickling down into government policies and programs. Like reparations and soon the push to continue to fully socialize medicine. What’s driving all this? Ideology.

To talk about all of this we bring back a favored guest, Nadra Enzi, who fights a daily battle to bring law enforcement and community together for a safer life. A community safety advocate, he’s been on the battlefield of fighting for personal freedoms for years and discusses why now the push has become defunding police and reparations. All in the name of equity and fairness.

But when you break it down, it’s really only targeted for a few. And it’s really about those in power who want more power by dividing us.

David Ridenour, President of NCPPR

Then we talk to David Ridenour, founder and president of the National Center for Public Policy Research. David lived in Oregon many years ago, and things have certainly changed in this state. We discuss why NCPPR started in the Reagan days as a conservative think tank.

And there’s no greater example of Marxist ideology than socialized healthcare. We’re living through it right now. Because, as we’ve said many times on I Spy Radio, if you give the government power over your healthcare, you give them the right to control every part of your life. W

hy? Because now you’re fiduciary liability to them.

Government has the Lock. You Gave them the Key

And just look what we’re seeing. Covid has been the tool to lockdown the country, destroy a booming economy, and the excuse to demand compliance from citizens on everything from wearing masks to how close you’re allowed to stand. So we talk with David about socialized medicine as a key to condition people to accepting government. In every aspect of your life. After all, it’s about fairness and equity, right?

With the push toward a socialist state being driven harder than ever before, the work NCPPR does is more important now than ever.
