The 21st century’s battlefields won’t just involve bombs and guns. Enter the age of economic warfare and financial terrorism. And when it comes to warfare, you attack your enemy’s weaknesses. The problem is, the U.S. has created a massive weakness and the States are helping—and in this day and age, we’re more vulnerable than ever.

We know that regular I Spy Radio listeners are keenly aware that at the heart of big government lies big spending. In fact, big government simply could not exist without big spending.

But what do you know about the actual mechanism that allows the federal government to enact policies it is not constitutionally allowed to do? We talk about grant-in-aid funding with State Senator Doug Whitsett and how this funding is really about states giving up their own authority.

Perhaps even worse is the extremely vulnerable position this spending puts us in. We talk with Kevin Freeman, one of the world’s leading authorities on economic warfare and financial terrorism. With groups like ISIS, this is no longer “just” threats from countries like China and Russia. It’s real, it’s happened and find out why it will happen again. Tune in to hear why all this spending is like a bomb we built — and then handed to the terrorists.

This week on I Spy Radio Show, we do what—apparently—no mainstream media news reporter did in the wake of the Charlie Hebdo and Jewish deli murders: read the Koran. And ask the hard questions about this “religion of peace” of Hoover Institution research fellow, Dr. Bruce Thornton.

Now that the initial raw emotions have dissipated from the Charlie Hebdo and Paris murders, it’s time to explore how and why these Muslim terrorist attacks happened. This week on I Spy, we go in depth with Hoover Institution research fellow Dr. Bruce Thornton to explore the Islamic faith and to find the truths about the “religion of peace” that the liberal media is too often willing (or complicit) to ignore. We compare and contrast Christian and Muslim ideology and ask the fundamental questions about what drives these terrorists and whether the Charlie Hebdo attacks were truly an anomaly committed by radicals.

And don’t miss what the mainstream media is not telling you about the newest worldwide assault on Christianity and persecution of Christians.

By now, you’ve heard or read the usual conservative fact-checking of Obama’s State of the Union speech but we wanted to go deeper than just fact-checking to analyze the progressive ideology that lie at the heart of the speech.

This week on I Spy, we talk with author and economist Dr. Gerard Lameiro to analyze the underlying philosophies and values on display in Obama’s State of the Union address.

For example, most of I Spy listeners know that the free-market system is superior to socialism but why is it so superior? What makes it more successful from both an economic and philosophical standpoint? And what is so unique about the American system of capitalism that makes it better than any other free-market system in the world? We also analyze Obama’s faith in big government to drive the economy, the unfairness of wealth, that regulation is the solution, and much more.

One of our listeners (thank you, David D.!) put us on to a story exposing Russian money being funneled to the environmental left, especially the anti-fracking movement. Needless to say, this got our attention but it turns out it was only the tip of the iceberg. We expose the Puppet Masters of the Enviro-Green movement with investigative journalist, Ron Arnold.

Want to know more about the pile of cash rabid environmental groups have at their disposal to do things like shut down mining and access to National Forests? This week on I Spy Radio, we expose the backbone of the environmental movements—their funding—and their illegal collusion with government officials.

We talk with Ron Arnold, Executive VP of the Center for the Defense of Free Enterprise, and long-time investigative journalist who has tracked the far-left environmentalist for more than 4 decades. And, we look at foreign influences, specifically Russian oil oligarchs, who have been secretly funding environmental groups here in the U.S. All of this means, literally, tens of billions of dollars going to anti-oil, anti-mining, anti-timber, anti-ranching, anti-you-name-it.

Within hours of Governor John Kitzhaber’s resignation, the FBI issued a subpoena, seeking records from multiple state agencies and 15 individuals. But this is a sitting public official, duly elected by the people of Oregon so what does it take for the FBI to suddenly get involved in the first place? And why didn’t this all happen before the election? We ask an FBI agent.

With the Governor’s attempt to destroy thousands of e-mails, the FBI issued a subpoena just hours after he resigned. The subpoena requests a massive amount of information and documents from 15 individuals and multiple state agencies as a part of their investigation, so this week we go in depth with a former FBI agent to understand not only the process the FBI goes through to obtain a subpoena in the first place but how they build their case and just how far this will go.

Our guest this week is attorney Chris Mazzella, former FBI agent and Inspector General with Dade-Miami County who has a depth of experience prosecuting racketeering and investigating public corruption. We get an inside look at the process of discovery, the relationships the FBI will dig into, and why associates of the former governor and Cylvia Hayes should be worried.

In a week of depressing news stories, we need to remember the real heroes of America, like Chris Kyle—the title character of the blockbuster film American Sniper. We talk with Chris’s co-author Scott McEwen.

Even though American Sniper didn’t get the Oscar nod that its fans hoped it would, it was a tremendous success with the people who truly mattered: the American public. And we can guarantee that the 19 medals and awards that Chris Kyle earned meant far more to him than any silly gold statuette. With the incredible success of American Sniper at the box office, we check back in this week with Scott McEwen, Chris’s co-author, to talk about the film and he does not disappoint. We get his—quite literally—behind the scenes insights into the film, his thoughts on the Oscars and his reflections on Chris Kyle, the man and the hero.

If you’ve seen the film or read the book, you know a big part of Chris’s own healing was to help other vets—only to be tragically killed by a Marine. Now that the trial is over, we’ll get Scott’s take on it as well as the healing help that vets need. And don’t miss his incredible news on what could be the next James Bond franchise.

Are the political far Left and Islam kindred spirits? Are American Sniper and Fifty Shades of Grey continuing evidence of America’s cultural divide or just the way it’s always been? And is Fifty Shades a dire indication of the future direction of Hollywood?

This week we talk with James Hirsen of Headline Hollywood, who also has a degree in media psychology to get his perceptions on two recent big box office films on completely different ends of the spectrum: American Sniper and Fifty Shades of Grey. One demonstrates love of county and fighting evil while the other showcases sex and degrading actions towards women. Even some Hollywood insiders were shocked about Fifty Shades’ mainstream release. We’ll talk about the cultural divide happening now in America and whether this is evidence of that divide — and whether it’s indicative of things to come.

Next, we talk to Dr. Andrew Bostom about Islam, the political far left, and the GOP 47 letter to Iran and Netanyahu’s speech. Most I Spy listeners are familiar with the Islamic ideology of taqiya, which makes it permissible to lie to non-believers. But we’ll also talk about the third pillar of Iran’s doctrine of hate, najis. Tune in to hear more about it and how najis is reminiscent of the dehumanizing hatred you sometimes hear from the political far left. Are Islam and the far left kindred spirits? And don’t miss our discussion of the Assembly of Islamic Jurists, which is already operating right here in the US. The Far Left: America’s cultural equivalent of suicide bombers?
