This Week’s Show: Getting off the Path to Tyranny

Now on the other side of all the election let downs, illegal ballots cast, state officials stepping all over their own state’s constitution, riots, and those killed during the riots we’re shaking off the desire to hide our heads in the sand, and instead focus on fighting back.

Pretending we don’t have serious problems, or overreacting by pushing violence and government overthrow, won’t solve anything. We need a steady hand on the wheel as we try to untangle and undo the forces determined to destroy our country.

New Rules in Elections. Win if Possible. If not, Chang the Rules

A recent Just the News article from John Solomon wrote that the 2020 election wasn’t just an election, it was a political watershed in which the rules and strategy for winning were rewritten. So by not thinking it through of what has to happen now, with all these institutions and media in favor of socialism, stopping it means we must take instead seize new rules and strategy for winning.

This week, we take a deep dive into Senator Linthicum’s latest newsletter. He examines how we in Oregon have been forced into shut downs and a ruined economy through the government’s manipulation of numbers, using covid as the cover.

What better way to exercise their desire to rid of us our rights while making us beholden to the scraps of money tossed into households, making them grateful. A socialist-style society being formed as covid smoking flares keeps the truth hidden. Covid or global warming it doesn’t matter. It’s the same tactics designed to confuse and manipulate. Their bureaucracy of supports all respond to one goal: control of everything.

The senator walks us through how the mirrors of deception are made and used and ties it back to current events in DC. This while Trump is making clear that he may be leaving the presidency, but he’s not leaving the fight.

Neither are we.

The massive COVID-19 “Test-Test-Retest” scheme is the only thing that keeps Gov. Kate Brown’s lockdown hype going. The destructionists in control love their power and testing has proven to be the perfect tool. We all know that good data is a requirement for good decision making. The testing mantra was originally portrayed as the tool to help us gather good data and lead us to make good decisions. But now we see the data isn’t being used to make good decisions it is being manipulated for ulterior ends.

COVID-19 testing has expanded dramatically throughout our state and the nation. Thus, as more and more people get tested, local county health organizations can use the data to pump statistical non-information and keep the public confused and fearful. What we do see, in the statistics, is that COVID-19 “cases” might be rising but the numbers are bolstered mostly by non-ill, non symptomatic people who are presumed to have COVID-19 although they feel just fine.

False positives have long been recognized as problematic and the World Health Organization (WHO) finally released a guidance memo on December 14th, warning that high cycle thresholds on PCR tests will result in false positives. So this misguided policy perspective is unforgivable. Also, the “infection fatality rate” is falling faster as the presumed, confirmed, and asymptomatic cases keep rising. This should be great news but it is never treated by the media or political class, as such.

This makes me wonder about several things…

  1. What does our future hold?
  2. How long will these lockdowns last?
  3. Will lockdowns become a common “goto” too?

This last question may seem outlandish, but recall that the WHO’s original definition of a pandemic was regarding, “epidemics worldwide with enormous numbers of deaths and illness.” A new definition appeared on the scene right in front of what we now call the 2009 Swine Flu pandemic. This newer definition removed criteria about the severity of any illnesses and also removed the criteria for high rates of mortality. The definition now refers to a pandemic as “a worldwide epidemic of a disease.”

If you are wondering why death rates are never discussed, it is because they are no longer relevant to the definition. This means the media, health officials and the political class can push this entirely spurious statistic to keep thoughtful questioners at bay and give statistical reinforcements to the next administrative dictator.

The public was complacent with the original “flatten the curve” logic because it was to meant preserve personal protective gear, ventilators, and hospital beds. All good goals and, indeed, the death curve has been flattened for nearly eight months. Yet, death counts don’t count and case counts remain the COVID-19 boogey-man.

The above graphic for case counts shows an obvious upward trend. In fact, this statistic is so visually terrifying that scare-mongers avoid publishing the fact that the annual average compares favorably to other flu seasons. The nefarious news sources and social media networks are doing their best to censor and quiet the rising anger against their unbalanced reporting and the government’s needless and ineffective lockdown strategies.

From the data we can determine that these mandates are incapable of stopping a viral outbreak. But, what if the purpose of these mandates is not about stopping the virus? What if these mandates are about control? Monetary, physical, emotional, and spiritual control?

My press-releases over the last several weeks have tried to alert people to the changing landscape being twisted beneath our feet. The Governor is promoting “Lock-down Mania”. Why? It behooves us to question what is the end goal of her “mania”? Could it be to eviscerate the economy, sabotage our cultural heritage and preach a unique brand of medical mysticism that borders on malpractice?

The Governor’s office, the Oregon Health Authority (OHA), executive agencies and Democrat cronies are perpetuating either one of two dystopian futures. They offer us, on one-hand, the statistically improbable COVID contagion that will destroy the lives of us and our loved ones; or on the other-hand, their lockdown inspired destruction of our free-market economy, complete with untold financial ruin, bankruptcy, unemployment, and despair.

Biden portrays the future as a “dark winter”, but it doesn’t have to be. The future doesn’t have to be a dimly lit hellhole of socialism if the truth can prevail. We must not allow our future to be consumed by what lies in the dark heart of these leftists who are clamoring for positions of authority within the new regime.
We must continue to unite against the left’s endless proposals for the bureaucratic central state. Stand together for the principles our nation’s founders documented so elegantly. Stand and fight for these self-evident truths:

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.”

Our individual rights and liberties are not dependent on whether the president, congress, governor, or legislature honors those rights. Those rights belong to us as individual free-will, moral agents graced with unique attributes and filled with human dignity. Our rights are eternal vouchers that belong to every person regardless of race, creed, religion or heritage and the state has no right to intervene in any person’s just pursuits for their own lives, livelihoods, and the well-being of their posterity.

I will not back down from the fight to preserve our American heritage. Together we can bring Oregon back to our original constitutional form of limited government, but we’ll need to hold fast to our principles and not let them steal our livelihoods from us.

This Week: On last week’s “best of” show with Scott McEwen, we discussed whether the corona virus was one of, if not the biggest, intelligence failures of all times. How did our intel community so badly missed what was happening in China? And even the mainstream media is waking up to the question, “Did China lie about what was happening?” And the questions about China are only just beginning.

So this week we are taking a deeper look at China as well as the U.S. and the world’s response to the “tyranny of experts.”

China Lied? Or something Else?

You have to wonder how the virus broke out of China and was spread worldwide when so many countries watch for those types of viral, biomedical attacks. Was it by accident? Or was there something much more nefarious?

If you remember when Trump first took office in 2016, even some senators were actually telling the intelligence community, “Don’t give Trump the full intelligence reports.” Given that, is it possible in 2020 some inside the intelligence community weren’t forthcoming about what was really happening inside China? Were there still deep state operatives who kept the truth from Trump on the corona virus as a set up to make him look bad? Even shutting down one of the most successful economies of all time?

But putting aside the maybe-they-did-maybe-they-didn’t, how is that one computer model, loaded with only guesswork from an rather small university in London manage to shut down the world so fast? Global warming enthusiast and supporters are most likely licking their lips as they see their dream come true—rule by mathematical modelling. But what does it prove? That if outcomes are scary enough people will adhere?

A Peek Over The Wall: China’s Perceptions of Itself and the West

We explore all those questions this week with geopolitical expert, Dr. Tim Ball. We usually have him on to talk Global Warming but this week, we tap into another of his areas of expertise. (Did you know Dr. Ball served in the military and had a top-secret security clearance?) We look at what the communist regime, their strategy, and the Chinese culture and history reveal about their truthfulness.

How China truly looks at the west, combined with how the West looks at China, makes for dynamic ripe for exploitation. We take a good, long look at China and examine how it’s unique geography and communist rule creates the perfect storm for a worldwide problem.

And we haven’t heard the end of “China lied.” Not by a long shot. Instead, things are only going to heat up. On Thursday, news began to break about federal investigators looking into some odd travel patterns by Chinese nationals in the early days of the Wuhan virus. Stay tuned for more on that in the coming weeks.

The Tyranny of Experts

The Other Side of the Virus Scare

Also, we look at how we’re now in an era of governing by computer models that can “prove” anything they want. And enslave societies to whatever the latest “scientific model” puts out. Did we miss the part where we entered The Matrix…?

And when it comes closer to home, not to mention our future, what will things look like on the other side of the virus scare? Clearly, going forward, we need more opinions and data than from just one source. But how do you fight the argument, “If we hadn’t done ______”? We talk with Dr. Ball to look at the impact of the few examples of “What might have happened” and how we can apply those to the U.S. and right here in Oregon.

Especially for next time. Because this new situation has many unintended consequences. And we need to think it through, thoroughly, so that we can be prepared for the next time a pandemic occurs.

This Week: Oregon’s Corona virus lockdown continues, in spite of models that have proven consistently to be consistently wrong. Which leaves us to wonder, why is the corona virus lockdown still in place?

One of the questions that has truly troubled us at I Spy is, if we’ve spent billions on healthcare in Oregon and 100s of billions nationally, where did all that money go? Especially in light of how unprepared medical providers were for a crisis.

Does anyone remember when Governor Kitzhaber ran on the fact that “we must be prepared” — and then tossed Oregon’s healthcare system on its ear in in his grand “health care transformation”? But from all reports coming out of Oregon Health Authority (OHA) and media services, prepared has turned into an oxymoron.

Corona Virus Lockdown: Questions for Bud Pierce

In our Part Two interview with Dr. Bud Pierce, an oncologist and hematologist specialist, we take on the numbers. Numbers that are being put out by Oregon’s own OHA, along with those from the federal governments, that depend on models so very reminiscent of climate change models. Overblown and/or unreliable but designed to evoke responses from the public.

Are Corona Virus “Deaths” Reliable?

One question we have is about the deaths. Deaths that, according to CDC guidelines, are being attributed to COVID-19 even without tests to verify they did, in fact, have the virus.

Theoretically, according to the guidelines, if you committed suicide, and might have had COVID-19, then Corona virus could be listed on the death certificate as the cause of death. Thus adding to the total of Coronavirus deaths. Is this just a little odd? We talk to Dr. Pierce what protocols are in place for how corona virus deaths are counted along with other troubling methods being used. And do we do this for other diseases?

We also wanted to have him back on to ask a question we’d wanted to ask him last week: What will we do next year when virus and flu season starts up again? Plus. We ask him questions from listeners who wrote in this week, wanting to know such things as the reliability of the numbers being used? Can the virus be transferred to pets? Has the curve flattened here in Oregon? And does he ever see a time when we go back to handshakes and hugs?

Corona Virus Lockdown’s Impact on Churches

Which leads us into the second half of our show, and the impact of Gov. Kate’s decision on large groups — especially churches.

With it being Easter weekend we brought in Pastor Jeff Poush of Salem First Baptist. During the pandemic when so much of our focus is on our physical health and the health of on our economy, what can people do for their spiritual health? We ask Pastor Poush the efforts his church is undertaking to support the spiritual health of their members during a time of physical separation and social distancing.

What If the Corona Virus Lockdown Continues?

We also discuss how the pandemic and ban on large groups has affected his church. And what if this continues? Are there concerns for churches regarding First Amendment rights? And how not gathering as a congregation may impact future events for churches? And, with it being Easter weekend, we find out some of the inspirational and exciting things Pastor Poush and his colleagues’ have planned for Easter morning service.

This Week: It’s dicey in the US, no two ways to about it. And it’s hard to know what or whom to trust. Like recent reports came to light that the small group scientists behind the much-vaunted study—that the White House and governments all around the world relied on to make drastic, economy-altering decisions that they did—may have drastically overstated the numbers.

Corona Virus Numbers: Were they Way off?

British scientist Neil Ferguson, using a computer model, had predicted 2.2 million Americans and more than half a million Brits would be killed. Now he and his team are backtracking on their modeling numbers.

During testimony to the U.K’s parliament, he now predicts U.K. deaths from the disease will not exceed 20,000, and could be much lower. That means, their initial estimates were 25 times higher than they should have been.

This comes as Dr. Deborah Birx, the White House coronavirus response coordinator, reportedly said the administration was particularly focused on his report.  The doctor now has walked back those predictions and clearly stated that the actual numbers of those infected by the virus do not match the computer models (because they’re much lower).

This Week: As much of America starts slowing down, self-quarantining, or through social distancing, we’ve had to rely on the very media that many have wondered if they will ever be truthful, as we assess our way through this challenge. Difficult times for sure.

Challenges that we never imagined a few weeks ago, after a big win to stop Oregon’s cap and trade bill. Only to end up faced with corona virus, which many states’ governors have used to shut down the economy in their states.

To get a handle on these issues we talk to two people: attorney, James Hirsen, who specializes in media psychology, and Timber Unity’s spokesperson, and small business owner, Angelita Sanchez.

First up is James Hirsen, offering his insights on the media’s irresponsibility on their reporting—or misreporting. And what a shame that truly is. President Trump fights to correct problems that Americans are facing—while having to fight off both media and Democrats attacks every step of the way. Apparently, the constant fight the last three years has given him the experience he needed to deal with Corona Virus.

It’s bad enough when the media lies or pushes outright hoaxes, but its perhaps even worse when many times the good news from the president, goes completely unreported.  Instead the, media spends their energy sensationalizing the news, the very information we try to depend on to try to make good decisions for our businesses and families.

 

Timber Unity: How are Truckers Dealing with Corona Virus?

Then up next, Angelita Sanchez who takes a more personalized approach as she helps us to understand what our nation’s truckers are experiencing; many of whom are small-businesses owners.

Tune in to hear what this vital industry is faced with, as vendors they depend on for work are shut down by government.  She not only gives us insights into the big challenges, and her own personal struggles. Angelita was fortunate enough to join a select number of small business owners for a group telephone call with the President and White House staff to hear how he’s going to help keep small businesses whole.  The aid package includes cash help and some loans for disaster help.  She says it gave her hope. What she shares will give you hope too.

This Week: There’s been a huge selloff on the stock market this past week due in large part over panic and concern about the Corona virus. How is it that, with little data, and over 70,000 people who have already recovered, people, governments, and financial markets are responding with borderline hysteria?

As our host, Mark Anderson, has so aptly quoted many times during the financial hysteria, is the line from It’s a Wonderful Life. It’s where there’s a run on the local savings and loan with all the town folk panicking when Jimmy Stewart’s character, George Baily says, “Potter isn’t selling. Potter’s buying!”

Potters, or their modern-day equivalents  like George Soros—are always happy to take advantage of hysteria in the markets.

Don’t give in to it.

Corona Virus Panic and the Stock Markets

It’s amazing. To watch Twitter or Facebook, it’s almost as if people want to panic. They spread hysterical news coverage. But don’t want to hear good news. And actual good news is lost in the maelstrom of panic.

For example, here’s some good news you didn’t hear in the mainstream media: there is already a vaccine for the Corona Virus. Yes. Earlier this week, we got word that a Pentagon-funded company already has the vaccine, will be ready to go as soon as the FDA approves, and can make up to 10 million doses daily in their plant alone. And, the really amazing thing is that they managed to develop it a mere 20 days after receiving the virus’s genetic sequence. This isn’t some incredible virus that will wipe us out if they can develop a vaccine in only 20 days.  (Here, read the story for yourself.) And what’s been the response?  Nothing, but more panic.

And, of course, there’s been no place more prone to Corona Virus panic than the stock markets.

When it comes to the Corona Virus, it’s Simple: Don’t Panic

Worried about CoronaVirus? Don’t be. It’s okay to be concerned, but don’t fall into worry. And definitely don’t give in to panic.

That said, while you may not be panicked, be aware that others may be panicked. Here’s some things to do:

Corona Virus / CoVid19 Preventative Measures

  • Wash your hands! We can’t stress this enough. Simple hot water and soap kill the Corona Virus. Alcohol wipes and hand sanitizer is great but there’s a reason. Here’s why: Hot water and soap It turns out viruses like Covid19 have a “skin” of fat. Hot water + soap breaks down the fat, effectively popping the balloon, and the whole thing falls apart like a house of cards. Good thread explaining it, here.

Signs & Symptoms of Corona Virus

The first thing to do is: not panic. But if you think you might have COVID19, here are some signs and symptoms:

According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), symptoms of common human Corona viruses are:

  • runny nose, sore throat, headache, fever, cough, and a general feeling of being unwell.
  • Human Corona viruses can sometimes cause lower-respiratory tract illnesses, such as pneumonia or bronchitis. These symptoms are more common in people with cardiopulmonary disease, people with weakened immune systems, infants, and older adults.

Some other Corona Virus / COVID19 tips from the CDC and Johns Hopkins:

  • Stock up – Have 14 days of food and supplies on hand in case you’re quarantined. You may not be sick. Your family may not be sick. But some panic-stricken politicians, desperate to show they’re doing something are shutting down some areas. And 14 days is the norm. 
  • Did we mention wash your hands and face with hot water and soap? Heat  and good ol’ soap dissolves the fatty “skin” of the virus.
  • Avoid crowds; practice “social distancing”. Maybe if you’re a church leader, now is a good time to put a live stream on your church website so people can still attend, even if they’re not in the building. It could be a real opportunity to expand your audience and your reach.

Always look for opportunities!

We want to warn you. in the next couple of weeks, you will see another round of media-induced panic. Why? As more Corona Virus test kits hit the market, 1,000s or 10s of 1,000s of people will all  “suddenly” have the virus. Just like that.
