Take Action Stop Human Trafficking

Take Action Stop Human Trafficking

Take Action Briefing

What: Human trafficking sounds like something out of a past century. Or out of some third world country. But it’s very real — 10-20 million victims in the world and 10s of thousands, perhaps as high as 200,000 victims right here in the U.S.
Who: Everyone. Human trafficking affects both genders, all ages, all walks of life, and everywhere. It happens in inner cities, suburbs, and rural areas. Poor, middle class, wealthy.
How: Take action to learn the signs of human trafficking. If you’re a past victim, seek help. If you’re a victim (or know someone who might be) there is help.
When: Now!
Why: Human trafficking is a horrific abuse. Stopping human trafficking can prevent generations of abuse because unless victims get help to heal their past, they can and often do take it out on the next generation.
