We talk a lot about fraud on this show. There is the fraud of global warming that has stolen hundreds of billions  of dollars from taxpayers. A  few trillion,  actually, depending on when you start counting. And all of that fraud went to prop up Democrats.

We talk about voter fraud and election integrity. And of course there’s what most people think when they hear the word fraud. Financial fraud. And lately it’s been defrauding the government — Money stolen from taxpayers, from programs. And what that really means is it’s been stolen not just from the people who paid it but stolen from the people it was intended for it the people who deserve it.

Estimates are there is at least $600 billion of fraud committed against the federal government every year. 600 billion is enough to pay for the entire Department of Defense — the total compensation for the entire military — salaries, benefits, retirement and pensions, and even all the veterans programs. Exactly 600 billion in the president’s 2025 budget request]

But there’s a worse kind of fraud. Fraud in the justice system itself. It is so bad the very word “justice” feels fraudulent.

When people whose job it is to enforce the law but instead use government and its unlimited checkbook as a weapon to target a duly elected president, target his supporters, create false charges, try to jail people they KNOW are innocent, lie under oath. And use the “justice system” against anyone who gets in their way — from the president all the way down to everyday voters, who were trying to stand up for rights and to defend America. When that happens, there is fraud of the highest order.

Today’s show is about both kinds. The first half of the show we will be talking about fraud in the Dept of Justice and we’ll do that with Peter Ticktin. Then Jeff Eager to discuss fraud of the financial — stolen from taxpayers right here in Oregon — and what happened when he asked the state about it. Same disease, two different symptoms: no accountability.

(Opener) There’s a buzz phrase in government that you probably heard. Evidence based. And they use that buzz phrase because what they really want is for you not to question their policies.

Evidence based refers, allegedly, making government policy and spending decisions based on evidence — like data and research (which govt pays someone to do), and so-called “proven results” rather than on ideology, intuition, or anecdote.

Now just to easily disprove the notion of evidence based — when’s the last time democrats push through government policy that supported (or, more to the point, funded) any ideology on the right.

There is overwhelming evidence for conservative, pro-growth economic policies — like lowering taxes and cutting government spending is good for economies and good for people. Instead, Democrats want to raise taxes and increase government spending — the exact opposite of what the evidence shows.

Instead, it’s about things like climate change, which they plan to fix through carbon credits, which fund Democrats. Or Green energy (which isn’t green — and funds Democrats). Or funding the homeless-industrial complex of non-profits, which happen to be Democrats.

Well, the real evidence is in. And it’s fraud and its government incompetence. And we’d planned to talk an awful lot about fraud on today’s show and then, well… the best-laid plans of mice and men, or politicians and radio hosts, sometimes go awry.

Because the last time we talked to representative Ed Diehl back in December, we wanted to get him on our calendar to continue our discussion about fraud, and to get some insights into legislative days at the capital, and what devious schemes those Democrats are up to now. So we threw around some dates and settled on today—we’re talking Wednesday afternoon, January 21st—and we were all set to continue that discussion but then a little something came up.

And I don’t know how we don’t start off with this huge news, even though this show won’t air until the weekend after the big reveal. So, Ed welcome back, and for those who don’t already know by now go ahead and tell ‘em.

This Week – Republicans Winning Oregon’s Elections

When we last talked to Ed Diehl at the end of December, we scheduled this week to continue our discussion on fraud in Oregon (hold our beer, Minnesota) and legislative days in Salem. But the night before our interview on Wednesday, news broke he was going to run for Oregon governor.

How do we not talk about that? We have been urging Ed to run for governor for at least a couple of years. We talk about his race, what changed his mind, and his competition—both Republican and Democrat. Plus, we do get a chance to talk about fraud, including what he will do about it as governor.

Plus, we talk about that all-important No Gas tax petition drive that will not only help Ed Diehl win Oregon’s 2026 governor’s race, but help sink Democrats. Democrats might not lose their majorities in the house or senate—although they just might find themselves in the minority after November—hey will definitely lose their super majorities in both chambers.

But before we get there, we get Eric’s take on last week’s SCOTUS ruling in Bost v. Illinois Board of Elections. On the surface, it was about whether a candidate had standing. But dig a little (which the leftstream media did its best not to do) and it is much. much bigger. How much bigger? Enough that it could fundamentally change elections. And people might just trust them again.

This Week – Fraud, Waste, and Abuse

Did it occur to anyone the reason why Oregon democrats shoved through the Gas Tax Bill is because throwing more money at ODOT makes it easier to cover up fraud, waste, and abuse? With big spending has come expansive, and expensive fraud. And we’ve only just started to see this exposed.

We welcome back Rep Ed Diehl to talk about the phenomenal success of the No Gas Tax signature gathering to put the referendum on the November election. They needed over 78,000 qualified signatures but have already turned in 193,000. Talk about room for margin of error.

Somali Fraud Framework Here in Oregon?

We’ve said Oregon is the Wuhan Lab of Leftist policies. And that’s true.  They try out policies here, do some gain of function (trial and error, improve processes, persuasion points, marketing, funding, etc.,), and then export it to other states. Fraud happens that same way.

Someone schemes up something, they figure a way to make it work, then others in other states replicate it. And that’s what has happened with the Somali fraud. Which is being uncovered in other states.

It requires an expansive and overly generous social benefit program. Like welfare, Medicaid, food stamps, rental assistance, etc. And, in places like Oregon, they throw a whole bunch more of it under the umbrella of “health care.”

By having such massive amounts of money fly out the door, fraud becomes harder to find, despite there being more of it. It’s one thing to to find a single needle in a haystack. But a haystack the size of a barn can hide a lot more needles. Even worse: use illegal immigrants so anyone who looks can be labelled a “racist” to stop potential investigations in their tracks.

Don’t think that works? It did. In Minnesota, merely suggesting racism was enough to stall investigations. And now at least $1 billion was stolen from Minnesota. And some are saying it’s as high at $9 billion .

We talk with Ed about a fraud scandal through Oregon’s Health Authority. Which is so eager to create a football-field sized haystack they include things like Climate Change as “healthcare.” Literally anything can now be called healthcare.

But what to do about? Those are our questions too.

Because we’ve learned to tolerate incompetence. And since no one is fired, nothing is done. Then we look at institutionalized incompetence on the federal level. DEI. Which not only infects the federal government but like a virus has infected state and local governments, schools, and private companies. But wait, it’s worse than you thought.

This Week – Institutionalized Incompetence

The hard fact is, when it comes to institutionalized incompetence, we’ve learned to tolerate it. We’ve become used to stupid. Conditioned to accept inadequate. And, worse, to accept corruption as “that’s just the way it is.” See the brewing USAID scandal. (Something we talked about way back in 2017). 

But USAID is only the very tip of the iceberg. We are fraudulently spending billions, even trillions, on things like Climate Change. And “green” energy. The issue is not the spending. The issue is the institutionalized incompetence that authorized the spending in the first place. That is what needs to change. And, thankfully, President Trump is starting to do that.

We’ll come back around to the incompetence behind USAID when more is known about it. But here’s something to think about. The real incompetence here is the Republicans in Congress. USAID fraud and funding leftwing ideology and pet projects of politicians has been happening for decades. Did the Republicans not know about it? And why did they keep voting for it? Either way, that is sheer incompetence. Again. Thank God for President Trump.

Institutionalized Incompetence – Two Examples

First up, we talk with long-time guest, Lisa Lettenmaier. Usually, we talk with Lisa about some new stupidity in the health care system. (Now there’s a whole ‘nother stream of institutionalized incompetence.) But this week, we talk to her about her letter to Oregon’s Employment Department, the media, and state  and federal legislators about the infuriating problems two of her friends experienced trying to get unemployment. Weeks of runaround, endless hours on hold, no answers, and no help.

Don’t forget, this is an insurance they paid into. That we all pay into. But when you need it most? And this is the “fixed’ system that took the people in charge of updating the computers and software. But it is still broken. As we said, society has become used to stupid.

But, the good news is, some institutionalized incompetence is being fixed. On his first day in office, as promised, President Trump signed executive orders ending DEI. That’s divRemove featured imageersity, equity, and inclusion. Or institutionalized racism. We talk with Donna Jackson about how incredibly important ending DEI is to the Black community. You know. One of the communities it is supposed to help. Tune in to hear how it not only is not helping, it is sabotaging the Black community and Black school children.

Gosh. It’s almost like democrats want a permanent minority underclass. Otherwise known as slaves. Democrats haven’t changed since they lost the Civil War.

Not only because you are giving someone else legal authority over you. But because trillions of dollars are at stake. If absolute power corrupts, how much corruption will 100 trillion buy? Could Joe Biden’s fraud emails crack open the door to his corruption business? And will the 9th Circuit finally be the first to take election fraud seriously? And when it comes to fraud, all too often it’s judges who are enabling it. It’s yet more evidence of our two-tiered justice system. Imagine if Trump was emailing his kids with government information to profit the family.

This Week – Fraud and More Fraud

It’s all about fraud this week. We usually have Chuck Wiese, a scientist and meteorologist, on to talk about the fraud of Global Warming. Which has become a multi-trillion dollar fraud scheme. But what’s another trillion to the debt when it’s among co-conspirators, right? But this week, we have him on to talk about their election integrity case, which is currently before the 9th Circuit. Why there? Because the Oregon judge didn’t have the backbone to look at it and denied it on “lack of standing.”

What a cop out.

Think about that. The Left shrieks about every single vote must be counted. But why is it when any one voter has their vote devalued through fraud, somehow that single vote no longer matters. But there’s even more to it. Weak judges claim there’s no evidence of voter fraud. How do they know when they keep denying appellates the chance to look? There may be tens of thousands of fraudulent votes. But we’ll never know because they never actually look.

For an election system that claims there is no fraud, isn’t refusing to let people look just a little telling?

Joe’s Fraudulent Email Aliases

Then we talk to General Counsel, Kimberly Hermann of Southeastern Legal Foundation. Her client is John Solomon, Executive Editor, of Just the News.

After years of hearing about secretive emails between Hunter and Joe Biden, and their potential content revealing fraudulent and corrupt money schemes, Southeastern Legal sued the National Archives to release those emails. Kimberly discusses how they knew about them in the first place and what they suspect the emails reveal.

Why use aliases to conduct “business”? Didn’t Joe say he never talked with Hunter about his business dealings with foreign entities wanting to buy influence. Okay. Maybe Joe didn’t talk to him. But he sure emailed a lot. More than 5,400 of them. That are known.

And where does this trail of evidence—while Joe was VP—lead? How far up does it go? What agencies knew about it? Why does the National Archives have these in the first place? Was Joe using government computers to send emails about his fraud schemes? Is this why our billions keep going to Ukraine, to keep them quiet from revealing their own evidence?
