Doug Wyllie: Las Vegas Shooting Police Investigation
In the immediate aftermath of the killing in Vegas, the authorities seemed fairly sure of two things. The timeline of the shooting and the FBI was certain the shooter had no ties to terrorism. Which was odd because they were also certain they knew practically nothing about him. Except that he wasn’t a terrorist.
If you heard last week’s I Spy Radio show, “The Las Vegas Shooting — Former Jihadist Reveals what FBI & Media are Ignoring,” you know there is a lot of circumstantial evidence that the FBI and law enforcement ought to be looking at that could show ties to terrorism. And isn’t the goal to prevent these from happening again? So why ignore possible ties? As Kamal pointed out, you don’t have to be a member of ISIS—or even a be a Muslim—to receive support and training from ISIS, the Muslim Brotherhood, or any Islamic terrorist group.
As we also pointed out last week, the FBI’s logical inconsistency (we know nothing at all about him but we’re sure he’s not a terrorist) raises questions about the FBI and about the investigation. Why would they do that?

In the wake of the Las Vegas shooting, the FBI has rushed to claim that the event was in no way involved with terrorism and certainly not ISIS. Except ISIS said the Las Vegas shooter was one of theirs. And they said this not just once, but three times. The media pundits and “experts” have rushed to spread the lie that “Well, ISIS has made these kind of statements before, claiming responsibility when it wasn’t them.” Almost everyone of them cite the example of ISIS claiming the attack on the casino in the Philippines wasn’t ISIS.
Except they’re wrong. Why are the FBI and media pundits spreading this lie?
Las Vegas Shooting

Brad talks about what happened in the bidding process and how a company, Blue Mountain Security from the UK, with no experience in high-level security work (other than guarding celebrities) but still won the bid anyway. Why? He walks us through the maze of government contracting with little or no concern for the actual danger that these security companies must be prepared to handle. The Problem: Bad Policy is Causing Massive Forest Fires
Oregon forest fires, over 300,000 acres burned so far. And nearly burned the historic Multnomah Falls Lodge.
Environmentalists have hijacked forest management, meaning they’re not managed at all. At the root of environmentalism, environmentalists believe mankind is not a part of nature. This leads to policies that urge forests and nature to be left alone and not managed at all. Fuel piles up, year after year, and it’s just a matter of time before a lightning strike lights the match.
This year, over 300,000 acres in Oregon have burned and the fires are growing. In Montana, 500,000 acres have burned. All across the West, in California, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho, Nevada, forest fires are raging and it can all be traced to bad environmental policy.
Did you know that prior to the environmental policies of Bill Clinton, Oregon did not have one significant forest fire? Why? Because the forests were actively managed.
Did you know that by law Oregon is required to harvest timber from State lands and O & C lands and use the proceeds to fund schools and roads?
Did you know that Oregon’s three-member land board (governor, secretary of state and state treasurer) recently attempted to sell the Elliott Forest for pennies on the dollar so they wouldn’t have to bother to manage the timber — as required by law?
Did you know nearly one-third of Oregon’s counties are close to bankruptcy because they’re not allowed to log?
Demand Better Forest Management

Get educated! If you haven’t listened to our show on Oregon’s forest fires, head to the show page for tons of links and listen to the show. You will have plenty of information and ammunition to hit your representatives with.
Contact your state representatives (see contact info, below). Tell them you are tired of these so-called environmental policies that allow our forests to burn. Point out that obviously these policies are NOT working and they must be changed to allow timber harvests. Money from trees is better than smoke and ashes. Trees grow back. This must end and it must end now. Send them a link to the show page and ask them, as their constituent, to listen to the show personally or at least have their staff listen.
Contact your federal Congressman and both of your U.S. Senators. As with your state reps, demand change. Point out that the current hands off policy clearly is NOT working. Innocent until proven guilty. The Oregon’s gun grab bill was signed into law by democrat governor Kate Brown. It allows a family or household member or even the local police to get an ex parte court order (meaning a person isn’t there to defend themselves) to confiscate legally owned guns or any “deadly weapon” on the suspicion the person might harm themselves or someone else. This unconstitutional law must be stopped.

Or you can also download or a circulator petition, which has spaces for 10 additional signers. Be sure to follow the simple rules.
More than 60,000 signatures are needed. While the effort to repeal is currently on track, from past experience, we all know those in power will try to invalidate every signature they can. That means they will throw out perfectly valid signatures because they feel something might be wrong. That often translates to needing 10–20% more signatures than the minimum to compensate for government interference.

Oregon is once again making the national news and not for very good reasons. Oregon’s Governor signed this terrible bill into law, opening the way to no limits, completely free abortions for all—not even a co-pay and this includes free abortions for those here illegally. The Democrats and the Democrat Governor in creating this free-for-all abortion bill, have also determined to remove limitations on abortion , even if the baby is full term. According to one report, “Taxpayers in Oregon can theoretically be forced to foot the bill for the murder of an illegal immigrants innocent unborn child in the ninth month of pregnancy simply because the child is female or has a genetic defect like Down Syndrome.”
While other states are investing in infrastructure to create jobs and improve working conditions, Oregon is “investing” in free abortions for all. To pay for this, Oregon is forcing insurers and taxpayers to foot the bill.
But there was also a funding gap of $900 million dollars. You’ll have to tune into to hear how bureaucrats will be filling that gap in some rather scandalous ways—but exactly what I Spy Radio had predicted years ago.
It is the power of God to make miracles out of what humans consider “mistakes.” To create an incredible person whose life and importance you cannot even begin to fathom. That unique mix of genetics that cannot and will not ever be duplicated. Instead, the Democrat leadership in Oregon believes these limitless creations should just wiped away.
But in the darkest of all corners there is light and we’re shedding that light on a program for women that is located in Washington D.C. called The Northwest Center (www.northwestcenter.net). The Northwest Center is the largest pro-life center in our nation’s capital. We discuss their two centers, Pregnancy and Maternity, about the welcoming environment of all women without judgment who has assisted thousands of women to take the option of allowing their babies to live. With it being August, and with everyone focused on recreation, this week we take a break from politics to take a look at movies and film making. Not that there isn’t a lot of fiction in politics, of course. In particular we look at a growing segment of the film industry: the Christian film market.
Christian Film Industry
This is an enormous market. There are tens of millions of people in this market segment who’d like to watch films without all the explicit sex, swearing, and lack of morals that are standard in so many of Hollywood’s films today.
While Hollywood is aware of this market, they have difficulty reaching it. All too often, it’s because they simply don’t understand it because they don’t have the same viewpoints or background. It’s like the NY Times, trying to write news stories for Conservatives. A lot of times, it just doesn’t work. The author doesn’t have the same mindset and just can’t resist getting in a dig at the very people they claim they’re trying to reach.

Here’s a hint: now they’re actively recruiting “movie stars” to run for office. Is there a chance they could win?
